Of course my lady. Angus gives her the money. By the by, does Chamille have any living relatives? I'm sure they would like to know where she is buried, and by rights they have first claim to these weapons and armor.

Don't know. Rothgar would know that better than I. She was the only friend he really had and I don't know of anyone who she associated with except for the occasional practice match. Oliver the captain of the watch would have more info on that.
The only time I asked her about it she would look saddened for a moment, then change the subject. She used to be part of an adventuring party, but none of them were family and she only spoke fondly of the dead, never any posterity though.
Thank him and bow. Go back to Elray's. Hello again! Since Chamille appears to have no family, I would like to trade you these two swords (Chamille's) in exchange for enhancing my greatsword.

Very well, it will take a day or two. It will also have another +1 in enhancement.
Did you want shock or shocking burst? For now it will be the same price.
If that is a favor to be called in at some as yet unspecified time, I accept. I don't have anything for you right now. I will send to you when it is time to call that favor in, though I don't know why you are giving it.
Well, normally adding shocking burst to a weapon would cost much more, and I feel it is only right to offer you my services. You may call on me at any time. Here is my weapon. You say it will be finished after tomorrow? Excellent, I will return then.

Somewhere in that short monologue Alora went into the back of the shop, leaving you alone.
As you walk outside you hear a scream. You turn and see a young human running like devils are after him. It turns out a grey haired half-orc is chasing him, and gaining. No one seems to care, they just step out of the way.
Well, if most people aren't alarmed, I see no reason to jump to conclusions. However, there is also no need to be foolish. Angus follows the pair, ready with his dagger to prevent any violence.
I be done ya fool. This blighter has been picking pockets in this town for days. I saw him do it, but he always managed to get away before now. In my younger days I would have killed him, but I guess I have gotten soft in my old age.
You feel he is telling the truth. Considering that dwarves are several hundred years older than humans, the young man could be considered a boy.
I am what passes for a constable in this town.
The half orc is the constable. The thief he was chasing is a young adult human, late teens or early 20s. Looks like I missed the use of a different shade of blue.
Now that he has received a good beating he takes me to the loot and I let him go, with the warning that if he ever comes back to my town to steal he won't leave again.
He simply grunts. Whether it is just or unjust isn't for me to say. That is how we do things here and nobody complains about it.
He walks off with his prisoner slung over his shoulder.
The local church is like nothing you have ever seen. There is a main entry way with about 10 halls branching off of it. From the symbols over each one you guess that each hall leads to a different shrine dedicated to a separate deity. The senior cleric is of Hireoneous and is more a coordinator. Finding you to be a cleric of Kord he doesn't look the happiest to see you, but he doesn't throw you out. When he says he will see if they have anything for you he goes back into a nook. A couple minutes later one of the mothers of the town comes in with a boy with a broken arm.
They thank you, but do not need anything else right now. As they walk out the head cleric approaches you. So you can do more than brawl, unlike most other clerics of Kord I have known. I have just the thing for you. I was going to handle this myself, but you will probably do fine. A runner came in from an outlying village. They had a recent attack by goblins. They repelled the attack, but there are wounded. We will give you some supplies for their healer and it never hurts to have a spell caster for the more urgent injuries. The runner is a competent ranger and you look like you can take care of yourself. Do you accept?
