Default The Sanguine Serpents [3.5e Race, PEACH]

Scarxi
The jungle Dwelling serpent warriors of the great nation Acerbus. Despite their warrior nature they aren't brutes they are more commonly Blood Mages. Their culture is based around the appearance of power and honour.

Personality: Scarxi are very traditional and honourable as a race. Scarxi culture views power as prestige and thus give them political power to rule over those weaker. This causes many to prove their worth via combat, in this society the Scarxi must have subtly and guile if they lack strength, or the knowledge of how to protect themselves, so they never lose their strength.

Many are devious and use tactics such as poison to defeat those who could otherwise defeat them, but strangely this isn't seen as dishonourable as a Scarxi are resistant to poison and it is a worthy weapon.

They seldom lie, seeing it as unfair to others. But tricky Scarxi often word their desceptions in such a way that they technically aren't lying.

Scarxi oftern prefer to not attack an opponent weakness as it shows weakness from the attacker, instead they prefer to attack using the strengths of the opponent and overcoming them.

Physical Description: The Scarxi resemble a hybrid of human and snake. They are covered in smooth green scales which allow them to blend in better in the jungle. They have thin reptilian eyes with two sets of eyelids one being transparent allowing them to see underwater better. They also have small claws on their hands which are often sharped to be used in honourable battle. Scarxi have short but thin tail which is used to balance better.

Scarxi often use special chemicals to paint their scales dark reds to make them stand out more in the jungle and thus are more honourable and less weak.

Relations: Most races don't understand the Scarxi and find their ways of thinking strange and self destructive. This causes the Scarxi to distance themselves from other races which they deem, ignorant.

As such most of the other races have never seen a Scarxi and knowledge about them is generally rumour.

Alignment: Their are Scarxi of all alignments but the most Scarxi are Lawful. Also Good is more common than evil in their society.

Scarxi Lands: Scarxi dwell within the warm and hilly jungles of Acerbus. They are rarely seen outside of Acerbus but they are welcome in most countries.

Language: Scarxi speak a language which is a combination of hisses and draconic tongue. It is known as Scar Tongue.

Adventurers: Scarxi are often Benders of the Sanguine even if they aren't warriors as blood is spilled often in Acerbus. But as they are traditional, Scarxi are rarely adventurers prefering to stay within society. But when danger arises Scarxi often try to help as to show their power and raise their status.

So their Venomous Saliva is at will? If it is maybe make them only able to produce it a number of times per day equal to their Con modifier?

I don't think it matters a lot if it is at will. It is a full round action so most people will use it once in every encounter.
