Of course, considering magic, unassuming is nothing.
Caet nods towards Eileen. It's what he had intended to go with as well, "Then come on in. We shall ascertain the truth of your words inside."
Caet makes a few motions towards himself. They're fairly innocuous and could potentially be assumed to be just a thing he does with his hands. Someone who can sense magic, however, will be able to tell that he's making himself stronger in various ways. He certainly doesn't trust this 'Reclaimer', and since he can't affect the man directly with magic, it's best to do things indirectly.

"Paperwork is actually a modern invention." The winged man comments dryly. "I will gather my things and follow." He stoops down and begins collecting the many weapons he had deposited on the ground when the guards and Caet had demanded that he disarm.
If he is not interrupted, he will then follow them. He walks with a firm gait and holds himself with perfect posture which makes him look taller than he really is. He is a very short fellow if you do not count the two feet that his wings arc above his head.
If he is interrupted in picking up his things... ((just say so in the next post and I'll reply :D ))
The motions Caet makes are noticed in one of Reclaimer's shifty glances, but either he does not understand the significance of the gestures or he does not care about magic due to his immunity. He cannot see magic... but of course no one but Reclaimer knows that yet.

"We're here for diplomatic purposes, concerning the future of AMEN and Inside." Ilpholin states calmly. They can call whoever they feel is appropriate for such a situation.
"Also to drop by the infirmary and say hi to Missy." Magtok quietly adds, hoping to completely throw off at least one of the individuals present with that unexpected extra.

Well, Eileen isn't going to interrupt...at least until he starts picking up his weapons.
"You won't be needing those while you're here," she says in a friendly (too friendly?) tone.
She is keeping a close eye on Reclaimer-dude. Despite her own posture being rather more slumped (and indicative of a headache).
"Neither dogs nor people are meant to be eaten. Remember that." Jyarl tells her before pointing at her food. "Bacon and eggs however, is supposed to be, and is delicious."
Infirmary - Vas' Room
Jake will enter to find Vas standing and in the process of pulling on actual clothing beneath her hospital gown. Her cybernetic limb seems to have been given back to her and the bruises from the beating she took are gone except for some off-shade splotches. "Perhaps it's for the best. Want me to speak to either of them, or leave them to you two?"
Infirmary - Missy's Room
Next to her, Missy will find a box of chocolates with a little message from Bugs on top. Figured we could break in that new heart of yours with a healthy dose of cholesterol. Speedy Recovery ~ Samuel
Taul's Apartment
After picking up the package from the gate, the Cleric sets it on his table and begins to unwrap it slowly. Just in case.
Main Gate 1.0
"Depends on what you mean by Authorities. We're the local police and military, but we don't run the place. There's also places like Watch or GLoG to consider." The guard informs the pair as she and her partner look over the scorpion.
Main Gate 2.0
"Commander Vasquez is currently unable to meet anyone, but if you're willing to wait about an hour, she'll be ready. If you'd rather talk to someone else, Commander Edijar is available." The guard informs them. "As for Sergeant Halifax, we can see if she's willing to accept visitors."

Jake watches her dress, too tired to even try and "help". "I... if you think you can get through to her. I guess it's not possible to make things any worse."
Infirmary - Recovery
Missy smiles and pops a cherry cordial into her mouth. Mmmmm...
If anyone asks, she's willing to have visitors.
Taul's Place
Taul finds a Letterman style jacket, with a black wool body and red leather sleeves. The back is embroidered with a valcano, and the left breast has AMEN stitched in, with the black letters outlined in red so they'll show up.
"From what you're saying, I'd probably prefer to speak to Elaine. She sounds possibly more reasonable." Vas tells him.
Jyarl's Place
"You are a person. No matter what anyone else says. Remember that." Jyarl tells her, looking right in her eyes as he says it. It was something he wanted her to really understand. "If someone ever says that you aren't, I want you to hit them as hard as you can and never stop until they can't speak. Orcs are people."
The last part surprises him, but only until he remembers that the Orkz of his world are nothing like Hellstomper.
Okay, maybe a bit, but still. Different things entirely.

Taul's Room
Taul gives the jacket a bit of a smirk before putting it on. It fit perfectly. Somehow, the Moffs got his size just right. With it on, he checks through the pockets to see if there's anything else.
Main Gate 1.0
"Watchtower's primary objective is to defend against threats that could end the world while GLoG is concerned with the Redemption of those who were once "Across the line" so to speak. NO is a group of mercenaries, and HALO claims to fight evil on a daily basis. That said, we're here to uphold the law and protect this City. We aren't a real army, but we can act as one in the defense of Inside. Mostly, we just do the day to day tasks of protecting citizens. If you're here to actually fight, then this might not be the best place to come."
Main Gate 2.0
The guards take a moment to ask back about Missy, and when given a confirmation, nod. "Sergeant Halifax is up to visitors, Lord Magtok. We can lead you to her while you wait for the meeting if you wish. If not, we can escort you to a room to await Commander Vasquez."

"Maybe she will be. I..." Jake pushes his fingers through his hair in a gesture that looks very like Gus. "I don't know. She never told me about this. She would just disappear, for months at a time. Sometimes she would say goodbye first, but not always. Father would tell me not to worry, that she would come back. He must have known too. My god, why didn't he try to talk to Billie, even if my mother didn't?"
Infirmary - Missy
Missy sends a text message to Bugs. "Thank you. Not just for the chocolates."
Jyarl's Place
Hellstomper holds his gaze and thinks about this hard before she answers. "Orcs is people. I hitted anyone who calls me **** greenie scum, Yawwrl. You teach me how to hit better." She gives a toothy grin at the last idea that she added on herself.
After a few more bites of eggs and bacon, she says. "I nebber knew orcs was people."
Taul's Room
In the right pocket is a membership ring and card. In the left pocket is a list of phone numbers for the Moffs he's met.
In the inside pocket, is a pair of great looking sunglasses.
The scorpion shakes his head while the guard mentions the other organisations tasks.
"If I would be here to fight, I wouldn't be here. Neither do I have any intresses to redeeme people. Breaking the law can't be undo and should be threated by a judges decission. Your goals sound the most firring for me."
Also he nods. Now he knows the name of the city.

Because it disrupts concentration, Grimzig answers. It hits the target with a concentrated wave of infrasound that is inaudible to most humanoids, but screws with the brain, flooding it with hallucinations, disrupting the sense of direction... it lasts for a short while in which the target can't really concentrate on anything, including spells and psychic powers.
A lot of the words that Grimzig says fly right over Iamar's head, so she just listens to the conversation for now, having nothing to add to it.
"Get me blood and coagulants, now!!" Bugs shouts back to his aides. The pair rush to the cart and grab what's needed as the doctor checks Feia's vitals.
The woman doesn't move to aid or hinder Bugs, merely sits there staring at the back of her eyelids.
It is fairly universal across the vitals that she is suffering a fatal...something. Breathing difficulty, heart rate trouble, and blood pressure collapse, all signs that her body is doing its best to simply quit.
Even with the aid the assistants will be bringing, trying to save Feia is a futile effort to anyone can see what is happening inside her, something that perhaps a later autopsy would display.
Throughout her body, bits and pieces of various organs and structures are disintegrating, the components siphoned off towards the egg in a fairly independent process.
"Taking what it needs" seems to involve eating its mother, for the egg.
Her lungs, heart, and brain have been spared the "sampling" process up to this point, which is the only reason she is dying, instead of just dead.
Feia will be dead with or without assistance, in moments.

Magtok pauses for a moment, trying to find just the right way to phrase his response, hoping to avoid the accidentally implied mockery and insult he's almost certain the guards will find in his words, without at the same time, sounding like he's begging like a filthy Redzoner for anything from them.
"Can I just bring two of me in instead and do both?"

Vasquez finishes buttoning up her uniform and twists her neck to pop it. "He must have had his reasons, Jake. I'm sure of it." She tries to reassure him before pulling him close. "It'll turn out for the best, however it goes."
Jyarl's Place
Jyarl goes around the table and pats her shoulder gently. "They are." He admits. "We can't keep calling you Hellstomper forever. How would you like a new name?"
Infirmary - Break Room
Bugs receives the message, but isn't able to read it. He's slumped in a chair, still in his uniform. A couple of bottles sit next to him. One is his normal medication, but the other is a bottle of sedatives. His breathing is slow, but steady. He'd taken a couple, just for them to work past his pain and weariness.
He doesn't dream, but then again, he rarely did now days.
Taul's Room
With a smirk to himself, the elf puts on the ring and slips the card back into the pocket. When he finds the sunglasses, he can't help but put them on and pose in front of his mirror for a moment. After that, he decides to risk it and heads on outside, stunning those who see him.
He'll walk right out the front gate and past Magtok and Ilpholin.
Main Gate 1.0
"Sometimes the law isn't something you might agree with." The guard says. "Are you sure you want to try and get past recruitment here?"
Main Gate 2.0
"With all due respect, Lord Magtok. I think it might get a bit too tense with two of you here, but there's nothing against it." He tells the cyborg. Luckily, his faceplate is an opaque white on the outside, so the pair won't see his shocked expression when Taul saunters out of Remnant.
Feia's Cell
The earlier timeline Bugs ignores the signs and just tries to work as quick and hard as possible. He and his aides are extremely well trained, having worked to save the lives of their comrades more times than they'll ever wish to think of. Within seconds, Aide 1 sprays Feia's body with the clotting agent, hopefully negating the blood loss right before he pushes a breathing mask onto her face with his other hand, trying to force oxygen into her blood.
Aide 2 sets up the blood packs as Bugs plants the medical sensors onto her body. He doesn't bother looking at them, instead listening to the sound of her BP and heart-rate. With a curse, he injects her with a series of compounds to try and increase her blood pressure. "Ready the life support and call in the cold-tube!"

"You're going back to work already, aren't you?" Jake says with a sad smile, taking both her hands, the flesh and the prosthetic, in his. "You work too hard."
Jyarl's Place
"I like to have a new name," Hellstomper says. "Did you getted a new name when you joined the tribe of Remnants?"
Were she in a position to do so, Feia would mention that the cold tube sounds like a clever idea.
But as things are, she simply thinks that in a somewhat hazy manner, lingering around the edge of consciousness.
Freezing would certainly be an effective means of stopping, or at least stalling, the woman's death.
She had accepted her fate, shortly after she realized what was happening, and won't be putting much stock in Bugs and Co.'s ability to pull it off quick enough.
The oxygen mask can only be effective for as long as it takes for the lungs to fail; that is, it will only work now.
The lungs are being attacked first, of the remaining critical systems, followed by the brain, leaving the heart for last.
It's a suitable resource moving hub and it would be inefficient for the egg to begin poking holes in it too soon.
It will take approximately five minutes for damage to start appearing in dangerous bulk in her brain, and eight for the heart. She'll have long since been unable to independently breath, but that is the absolute limit on salvation.
If that can't be made, the woman dies, but the egg has all it needs to be finished. The child will be at the final stage of development.

Ilpholin suspected they would use this 'time to get ready' to try and unnerve her. A member wearing a poorly stitched jacket would not be enough rattle her. Ilpholin's face and stance remains impassive as Magtok tends to his business. She'll have to ask about this Missy person at some future point in time.

Main Gate 2.0 >> Other Places
A pair of women come to the gate, one in nursing scrubs and the other in a pristine white uniform.
"Miss Xar'Cha, if you'll come this way. I'm Lt Delisle." Assuming Ilpholin follows, she'll lead her to a meeting room where there is tea, coffee, orange juice, and biscuits. The British kind, not the American kind. "Is there anything I can do for you while you wait?"
"Hi Magtok. Halifax is in recovery. I'll take you to her." Charity says. And assuming he follows, she'll lead him to the infirmary and through the corridors until she reaches Missy's room. "Knock knock. You have a visitor," she says.
Missy is in bed, with tubes and wires and such, but otherwise looking fairly well for just having had major surgery.
Magtok blinks. He knew Missy had undergone major surgery and stuff, on some level he certainly acknowledged that a bad thing had happened to someone, but even so, seeing Halifax like this, lying in a bed with tubes all up and around her...somehow it still manages to catch him off-guard. I don't know what in the world he could've been expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. He clears his throat, trying to get out of that state of shock before it can make him look like an idiot, and quickly summons a few words to put up as a distraction while he adjusts to this unexpected reality.
"Hi Missy. Happened to be in the neighborhood, due to some AMEN diplomacy nonsense Ilpholin's got us doing, so I figured I'd drop by."

"Certainly." Delisle pours herself a cup of coffee - black - and sits down next to Ilpholin. "I hope the fact that you came yourself instead of sending an army is a hopeful sign," she says. Being attacked by AMEN at the very start of Remnant's existence was somewhat disagreeable.
Infirmary
"Oh, hi Magtok." Missy says. The beargon he gave her is on the side table. "I think I sent you some crazy texts the other day. Sorry about that."
Maybe. Can't really tell from here. What kind of person doesn't instantly bounce back from a horrific accident, anyway? The world is full of magic and nanites and magical nanites, why should this sort of lying around helplessly in bed even exist?
"So when d'you think you'll be back on your feet?"

"Probably in a few days. I'm not sure when I'll be back on active duty." Magic helps with that. Also player not wanting to rp someone being in a hospital bed for weeks. "Want some chocolates?" She offers the box of yummy chocolates. This particular box of chocolates is not like life, as there's a little legend on the inside lid saying what flavour each piece is. Missy has already picked out all the cherry cordials.
Meeting Room
"I handle administrative work, supply, and logistics." Delisle says. Also payroll. That makes her popular.
"Sounds fun." Ilpholin says, obviously not meaning it. She's already had to do more administrative work recently than she has her whole lifetime. It didn't take long for her to decide she hates it.

The sort of things a kid might expect to get on Halloween, or the sort of stuff they might nag their parents about at the checkout line in a supermarket. Nobody ever bothered to tell Magtok to stop being silly and grow up, so he hasn't.

How's that working out for you, Magtok? Well, judging from the look on your face, not well. Why are you bringing this up here and now, though? What makes you think Missy would have any more of a clue as to how to politely reject the advances of an eccentric hair-shifting personification of eventuality than you do?

Getting personally involved with any sort of deity is stupid."
If I could only have one type of chocolate for the rest of my life, it'd be Reese cups. Screw growing up.
