Whoo boy, hope I can get caught up on everything in the last few days. I had to prioritise my RP time and since nobody was trying to interact with Quaver, I let this slide for a bit.

It's even sadder than that though. She's doing all this to become as effective as Hullabaloo. Hullabaloo is 4 years old.

I imagine the town has some sort of defensive measures in case of emergencies. Even if that's just getting all civilians the heck out of there.
Naturally, no PCs are going to be forced out of town once Simmer is unleashed. Just the NPCs.
I'm asking because I recall varying numbers of civilian ponies living in town. Regardless, the first priority would be getting everypony it was possible to to safety.
I have the odd feeling evacuation is going to involve Fireflower.
Naturally, this isn't relevant until Simmer actually gets out (Not sure when that's going to be) and may not be relevant at all (Maybe it just happens offscreen?) but I felt I should ask.
Hmmm ... I wonder if I can get Thanqol to bring back Whitefire for this arc. i kinda wanna see how she'd handle it.

It should be, but that particular scene was also happening a little before the present time. If Deme doesn't respond in a day or so, I'd say just find another starting location in the present time. Mass evacuations are always a great way to meet new people.

*Spark Chaser is lost in the haunted house/tower on the outskirts of town trying to find his little sister.
*Cloud Chaser is safe and sound with Silverpine, Winterflap, Flower Tail, and Night Jewel at the exit of the haunted house/tower on the outskirts of town.

Sounds like the Civic Center.
Would it be too much to assume that it has some method of getting large amounts of ponies elsewhere such as a teleportation circle? I mean, it's apparently supposed to deal with needing to potentially evacuate ponies, and there are plenty of things that have to be dealt with by going somewhere else entirely rather than just higher up.
