Grills and Gwynfillion are going to Manehattan when Grills comes back home.

Hey AnimeKid, I don't know if it's been mentioned recently or where you can see it, but I think I need to point something out about Greif.
He's a retired Griffin Air Force member. In fact, he was a Raptor - basically the Griffin version of the Wonderbolts. Hence the fancy flight jacket he's got on. He's just trying to settle down and lead a normal, quiet life. (It's not working.)
So, in the event they somehow wind up in a race, I'm not sure if he'd be able to actually beat Greif. He could perhaps give him a run for his money, at least. But actually beating him? I would have to say no. (Though, perhaps with some lessons and training from Greif, their future matches could end differently...)
Not trying to be rude or say "hur hur my character is better than yours" or anything like that, mind you. Just pointing out that Greif is far from the average griffin, which seems to be the impression Blitz has.

Ah, I did not know that myself neither did Blitz probably. While Blitz thinks he is the fastest thing alive can accept that there might be someone out there somewhere who can beat him. He will just have to train his hooves off to beat them next time.
Seeing as I based Blitz of Sonic the Hedgehog (Which is probably kind of obvious) he likes to live to fast to take the time to hold a grudge. So no worries, if Grief wins, cool. If Blitz manages to miraculously win it would be interesting at least.

There's a pegasus pony in town who claims to be the "fastest colt in all of Equestria", he's a twelve year old self taught speedster foal-colt named Spark, but he can't fly and is more of a land based speedster. :3

Nah, I doubted Blitz knew. And Greif is trying to avoid telling him, since he doesn't feel like racing and possibly making a rival out of the guy he just hired. That would be awkward.
But that's why Spin Top is giggling at the situation. She realizes the irony of Blitz telling Greif how to fly fast.

^Sandy's going to bring up this point, don't worry. And even if she wasn't arguing, it's still three-four ponies all basically saying "Night Jewel, you're wrong". Kinda makes her feel like she's getting ganged up on. IC, Sandy is giving Snickers mad props for keeping cool when he himself was losing his cool.
