I was under the impression that they'd spend the night there, though admittedly I didn't have anything planned beyond that. I could see the more adventurous types wanting to escape and help out, while the others are just trying to pass the time. Lots of chances for pony interactions, seeing how most of the town is there. Somepony who was up for it could organize things in-character to keep them occupied and lift their spirits or some such.
Honestly, we should probably just end the day first, as this day/night has been going on for a long time.

Well for Icy and Fox getting around to ending their pony day, perhaps they'll go through the motions of finding the book, read a bit of, realize how tired they are and decide to camp out in the library or wherever that's not the Civic Center, end their pony day that day and yadda yadda.

I could have Spark and Cloud's mother run into her [Sweetheart], afterall they were last at the haunted house/tower attraction on the outskirts of town aways from the craziness of of what's happening around town near the civic center and bar. She'd be in worried sick mode looking for them.

All of my ponies are still on the previous night...And while it's not too many posts away, it'll probably be impossible to catch up now...
So it looks like even if I just wanted some ancilliary fun, like with minions going into the woods, the plot'll be done by the time I'm able to really be involved. :(

We asked a few days ago for the status of everybody's ponies, and then again a few days before that, and it seemed like everypony was done or just finishing up. Sorry we moved on, but we did ask for statuses well before this.
As far as the current plot goes, we've barely started on the next day. If you wanted to get involved and still finish up the previous night, you could always just RP your characters at different points in time.
EDIT: Argh, and ninja'd by Orzel. I'll also add that Sandy's not going to get involved for a while, as he's still sore as heck from the previous day and has to walk all the way to town.
