Also, for the gem that Simmer wields.
Gem of Gorlorn
A powerful magical entity created by a magical pony long ago, the Gem can perform many spells based on the nature of the one wielding it. As Simmer is, well, evil for the most part, the gem can perform spells of an evil nature. However, if the gem is ever owned by a pony of good, it will of course gain the power to perform good spells.
The gem has a personality of its own, being snarky most of the time towards its current owner. Being neutral in regards to personality, the gem only follows the orders of its owner, not being able to perform anything of its own accord unless it is to protect its owner.
To become the owner of the gem, the previous owner must pass ownership vocally, willingly or forced does not matter, though to use it, it must be in the possession of the owner.

Gallantium/Nobleinium
Strength is equal to that of the fictional metal Adamantium.
It is very heavy[ weight is on par with gold], but is surprisingly easy to enchant and also easy to recolor with the simplest of spells.
It can only be melted by dragonfire, and that requires time within a dragon's fire that most spells can't emulate for long enough, and most spells that can emulate the length don't have the magical properties of the dragonfire required.
When it comes to the elements, it reacts to all elements like copper. [hence why electricity is conducted so well through Simmer].
And last but not least, the majority of armor forged of this metal is already enchanted to be form fitting, which means when put on, no matter how a pony's weight, size, or even proportions change, it will shift to be a perfect fit for that particular pony every time, and move like a second skin...despite the weight.
Created by the first 'Gallant' knight among the Pegasi, all official bearer's of the metal have since been nicknamed "Gallant", and the metal has, as such, been callad "Gallantium" or "Nobleinium" by many ponies, as those bearing the metal armor have been known to be among heroes of noble and honorable intent.
Anything anypony would like to add/change? Or is this fine with everypony?

Perhaps adding some flaw? Like being extremely hard to obtain or requires hundreds of days of continuous smelting? I don't know. I have trouble wrapping my head around such perfect armour.

As I stated, it can only be melted by dragonfire if set in it long enough.
How many dragons do you think would sit still and breath fire long enough to melt it? And then remelt it every time the forger needs it?
The only other method is provided by Simmer's copying ability with the gem. Once Simmer is 'defeated', he won't be able to use the spell because the origin of that spell is evil, and the gem will no longer have access to that spell for the same reason.
And for purposes of making it even more difficult, it has to be fire from an adult dragon who's mastered the art of dragonfire, and it must be WILLING to help forge the armor.
So that would be a good reason why the armor isn't well known in the current timeline nor even heard of, as Garion is likely the last 'Gallant' knight to have worn such armor. So, if somepony wants to make a 'Gallant' knight for the current period of time, we could maybe make a story arc out of getting the raw metal, finding a dragon willing to melt it, and then a smith willing to forge it, etc. etc.
Make an adventure out of it. :)
Edit: Maybe even research the history of the 'Gallant' knights and how they started, etc. etc. Maybe they have an ancient fort or some other base of operations.
Or maybe the pony trying to become a knight finds he/she is part of the lineage by ancestry already.

And the only pony who even has any other armor like that at the moment is Smoothie, who has a strength score of about a 6.
Sure, she could enchant it to be lighter, but that'd be cheating! It would also mean a single dispel magic completely destroys the use of the armor, but mainly it'd be cheating.

Well, after movie night, Mystic, Scarlet and Sweet Dreams all decided to Sleep in the same room. Lionheart could Bodyslam his "Mom" and rudely awaken everypony in the room.

Just a note, not this Saturday, but the Saturday after that, I'll be going on a family vacation for a week, and I won't really have internet access. And if I'm being honest, even if I did, I'd rather hang out with my family then worry about RP stuff. It shouldn't impact much for this RP, and it even somehow manages to make sense in-character. Sandy will just be sleeping off his loopy-ness while other ponies get a crack at Simmer. If the plot naturally finishes by the time I get back, then that's okay too. I've planned out what direction to take Sandy as a character both if he sleeps through Simmer and if he faces him.

Alright. Here's a summation of how I see the plot going.
Mystic has been working on a book related to her previous talent (Tabletop RPGs). She's been trying to finish it, since the deadline is the day after whenever the party happens (Yay plot convenience!). The book is going to require most of the night for her to get done. Unfortunately, this is the night Lionheart has decided to throw her a surprise party, and despite her trying, she's unable to just leave, or send the guests away to come back at a later date. She participates in the party because she doesn't really have anything else she can do, and tries to get the guests to leave as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, by the time she gets everypony out of the house, it's too late for her to finish the book. She gives Lionheart a rather large glare, and gives him a lecture on respecting the wishes of other ponies before sending a message that she has to reschedule, and heading to bed.

I think Lionheart would know better if it was a project like the one you suggested.
Couldn't he instead have made the party for when she comes home from turning in the book, after she had made plans to celebrate with perhaps Sweet Dreams?

Well, the idea I had in mind involved the party having good intentions, but poor execution. I'd like to at least keep that, even if the original idea is scrapped.

As a side note, if you want to keep playing Lionheart, you should have Mystic's sister move to Bridle Shores at some point or something. I'm not saying you have to, but sooner or later the question of why Lionheart is still staying with her will pop up, and that makes it so he can reasonably stick around, while also giving you another potential character to consistently play if you like.

Guys, I'm going to drop this RP.
There are plenty of reasons why.
Mostly it seems that none of you seem to understand that you should wait for everyone involved in a scene to post before you just continue with the scene and then when the person gets back on they are so far behind they can't continue.
I mean, it's not like their character was just standing around doing nothing, after all. The players themselves lose valuable places to develop their character because of this.
Also, the godmodding. I thought I was okay with it at first, but after rolling with the Nexus I find that I like the: Everything is attempted for posts then the person who posts it is automatically successful.
Also, the whole Scarlet and Zach thing. Lix, if you wanted to develop a relationship with Soft's character Mystic it would have caused me a lot less heartbreak if you had sent me a PM asking if I wanted to continue doing ScarletxZach. But now it seems you wish to abandon that in the pursuit of "threesomes."
And that hurts.
And I cannot forget to mention that by RPing in IM, how are any of us supposed to consider what happens in there canon unless you post what happens?
It's especially frustrating when you automatically assume that we're supposed to know it and take it seriously when there are very dramatic changes in your characters afterwards that seems to come from nowhere.
And finally, you guys seem to ignor my posts towards your characters. And thus you never ever respond to my post and that always causes me to drift in and out of this RP.*
Bear in mind that all of this doesn't go for every single one of you, but it goes to enough of you that I just can't deal with this RP anymore because even though it's supposed to be cheerful and happy and magical, all it causes for me is heartbreak.
And I don't want that in my life.
