There are two ways to kill another player with a night kill ability. The first is to target the Alias of someone who is in the same City as the killer. If that Alias is in the same city as the killer that Alias' owner will die.
During the Day you may choose either to stay in the city you're in or move to one of the others. At the end of the Day phase it will be announced which Aliases moved to which Location. If a player hasn't moved for three Days in a row their Alias will be reported found at their Location.
So killing people is pretty easy. Location is revealed, if it's the same city the killer is in he has the opportunity to kill you, or he just moves to the same city.
Or you could just keep switching cities, but even than you're not safe, because you have the chance to end up in the same city as the killer.
Wait, I get it now. Rejoice, for my mind is enlightened!

Oh yes, you will likely die in this game. Don't let it worry you, death is only the first step, and I think you'll find it both wonderfully freeing and surprisingly ineffectual at preventing you from taking part.
Of course..." The moment seemed to stop as the malevolance creeps into the speakers voice.

Everyone's eyes immediately swivled downwards, to see six cities, interconnected by bridges. Each floated in space, a lump of land holding around it's base. Each from a different part of what you all call home in your memories.
"Dreams are such fragile things, aren't they? Some of you are allies in one thing, and enemies in another. You will find yourself forced to choose between helping an enemy, or hurting an ally.
But most of all, you must be wondering... How will mere pointing kill anyone? Well, you are each far more than mere now, you'll discover those changes eventually. More importantly, the one with the most votes will have something... unfortunant happen to them."
Clicking his fingers, everyone begins to descend towards the ground beneath as the man above laughs.

Also, there are two people who are not in a city currently. They are unnamedand will be called players 1 and 2. During the first day, the cities may contest for them in whatever way you wish.

This game won't claim his life, and if it does it won't be without a fight. He stopped abruptly, as he rub his temple slightly. "Bleh, I think I'll sit down first... though, a pitched fight for survival can come later." He muttered as he tried and failed to find a seat. "Well, then I guess I'll stand..." Xan grimmaced as he rub his lower back, wishing desperately for the sweet relief of a chair.

His minions were less competent than usual, perhaps because they had been introduced to a separate plane. He sighed, rubbing his temples. This was not a good day for the Dyviil.
