Backstory: Mai and Jen were two sisters born in a merchant family in Akanul. Despite being twins, they were dissimilar, Mai being a windsoul and Jen being a stormsoul. Although different to each other, the two sisters were close, one rarely being far from the other. Unfortunately, one day, at the age of eight, Jen was struck down by a terrible illness from which she never recovered. Her death utterly devastated Mai who could simply not conceive the idea of living without her sibling.
And so, one day, her parents came home and were shocked to find Jen standing in the hall. What had happened was that Mai (in her mind) resurrected her sister through a second elemental manifestation. This manifestation had the appearance, demeanour and personality of Jen.
Mai could not understand why her parents were horrified by the event. Their other daughter had just come back from the dead, surely this was a time of rejoicing. The matter was sort of ignored at first, both parents hoping this was a phase and she would grow out of it. But that never happened. Once it became clear their daughter wasn't going to give up her delusion they started looking into getting her interned, in order to suppress her other personality. Mai overheard the conversation and made her mind up, she was going to run away.
They hit the roads, using Mai's basic magical training she had got from the academy to make a small living. Jen on her side, learned more how to fight in order to defend themselves against any threats. Over time they have become a travelling mercenary, selling her talents for caravans or other small endeavours. Mai and Jen have learnt to coordinate their abilities during combat, resulting in a fighter who can combine magic and martial skill.

Here is Hestia Proudhammer, Warden of the Mountain, this is a DDI interactive sheet. If you would like I can change to my mythweavers sheet, but you should like iplay4e sheets Creed
Also, Hestia will be taking some sort of Green, methinks, but my color list is at work, so once I get there, I will figure out her exact color. Wewt! I am excited! Hestia is taking Copper, I like the theme of being of the mountain and it is brown-like, and a metal. As I say think I think I am even more a dork than I thought
Edit: Interested to see what strikers, leader and controller made it!
ITEMS
Elusive Action Ki Focus +1 x1
Amulet of Protection +2 x1
Longbow x1
Bracers of the Perfect Shot (heroic tier)
Battle Harness Cloth Armor (Basic Clothing) +1 x1
Adventurer's Kit
====== End ======
I can create a sheet if needed, though it might take a bit. I've never tried mythweavers or anything before (this is my first pbp game) so any advice on easy to use sheet websites is welcome. I think the only important thing that the DDI character summary lacks is mechanical power and item descriptions or money (i believe i have 140ish gp to my name).
Background
Spoiler
Saram spent his first hundred years in the feywild. He doesn't know whether he was born there or was transported there from the natural world. However, his origins don't really bother him because once he had matured enough to change his shape and step back and forth between the natural and civilized worlds, he grew to love his home. Saram's early life was spent in a carefree manner on the edge of several Eladrin cities. He never really gave up his natural ties or fully embraced his humanity, always remaining on that edge. This led him to develop as a person prone to its of passion.
Sometimes he'd fall from the knife's edge and land on one side or another, retreating into woods as a hare or walking to the heart of the city only to spend a few months in this new sphere before returning to his own little center on the border of town. He was friendly and open with the feywild denizens about what he was and developed several friends, many of which saw his natural athletic talent. Despite his slight build, Saram was able to run and jump with the best of them and could perform nearly supernatural athletic feats. He was invited to join equally magical Olympic events throughout the Eladrin holds, where he learned to tame a longbow with his reflexes. He even met several planar travelers that alerted him to a larger world outside his own.
These travelers to and from the feywild attributed his abilities to his unusual origin, since Hengeyokai are normally found in remote areas on the material plane. Upon hearing about others of his kind, and having won acclaim and wealth as an athlete, an impassioned Saram sunk all of his funds into taking a trip to this other plane to find out more about himself and see if he could find a more permanent home. But it was not to be. Once he went through the portal/magic circle he found himself overwhelmed by a bustling city filled with a melting pot a races, none of them resembling him as he had emerged in his hybrid form. Passers by gawked and laughed, asking him what sort of ridiculous polymorph spell he had been subjected to. He decided to assume a human guise until he could get out of the city.
This world seemed dull and unforgiving when compared to his homeland. He traveled far into dangerous and unknown territory, asking animals along the way if they had seen any like him. He had no luck, eventually landing near a remote village. He emerged from the tree line as a hare and transformed into a man as he walked through the village. The people around him erupted with panic, some of them taking up crude farming and hunting implements. They chased him back into the woods, where he disappeared as a rabbit. from that moment on, he was very careful about assuming his more animalistic forms. He continues to search for more of his kind and find out why he was deposited in the feywild (he kind of blames the harsh lands of the material world).
I'll touch that up with mannerisms and whatnot after work today. I need to add the little things like he's vegetarian, how his high wis and low cha/int interact and how I'll play the array, and such.
This character feels very verdant, so i'll select this dark green.
EDIT: When i said dark green, I meant dark green.

Shall we have our characters start knowing each other or will we be introduced during the game ?

@incandescent - You have a DDI account? Look into iplay4e.appspot.com. You basically just export your character to your computer, then load it into the sheet and it imports everything to the webpage sheet. And it is quite interactive, you can mark powers as used, and it even keeps up with damage, and applies healing and everything. It is actually a really cool system for DDIers.
@Creed - Just an FYI, I will be making my damage rolls for my Craighammer different. Normally they would be 1d10+5, but since it is a brutal 2, I will be actually rolling them as 1d8+7, that was even if I roll a 1 with the brutal, I am still get my 3 for the brutal. And I might as well roll it like that because its all random rolling anyway, whether I roll 1 time or keep rerolling. Is that cool?

Spoiler
Gwenn was born to her human mother and elf father in Featherdale, a peaceful little kingdom in North Faerûn that had been mostly ignored by the larger events that have shook the region, and was perfectly happy to keep it that way. She was raised by both parents and would have had a perfectly happy childhood had it not been for her abilities.
From even a young age Gween was a talented empath, gifted with the ability to sense the emotions of those around her. As she developed her empathic powers only grew, eventually reaching a point where she could focus on someone and read not just their current emotions but a trickle of their emotions from the future, allowing her to predict good or bad events in their future. This gift came with a price, however, as Gween had trouble blocking out the emotions of those around her, a common enough issue for young empaths but one which caused her no end of suffering whenever someone in her home village suffered a calamity.
Eventually Gween developed some modicum of control over her psionic powers, blocking out undesirable emotions and focusing on individuals enough to be able to read their emotions just before they could feel them. Being a teenager she abused her powers relentlessly, using them to get all sorts of boons from the townsfolk who never could quite understand why they felt such goodwill towards the young half-elf. Her parents, of course, did not approve of such frivolous and wasteful use of such a powerful talent but Gween had reached the age all young people go through where her parents opinions weren't very important to her.
Of course all good things must come to an end and Gween's happy carefree life ended on her 19th birthday. A trade caravan came through the town and Gween, to her parent's frustration, snuck out of their house to visit it and see what bargains she could get. While she was there she picked up a stray emotion that shook her to her core. It was raw, unbridled, hatred, the kind that can drive people to give up everything to destroy what they hate. Looking around in shock the young half-elf spotted the source of the hatred, an older human trader sitting in a corner and staring at a picture.
Confused and unsure of what to do the girl went home to her parents and tried to inform them of what she had felt. Her parents advised her to just stay out of things, it was none of Gween's business after all, but she couldn't just ignore things. Late that night she snuck out once again and went to the trade caravan's camp to see if she could get a look at the picture and find out what the old man hated so much.
Gween was never the stealthiest individual but her talent for feeling others and skill at reading people had helped her bluff her way past countless situations in the past, and this time was no different. She reached the old man's shop stall easily and found the picture at the top of one of the drawers of his desk that he had left unlocked. Its contents were surprising but even more so was the paper underneath whose simple writing stunned her. So shocked was Gween as she read of the plan to kill the king of Featherdale and stared at a picture of the man that she didn't feel the approaching presence until he was nearly right on top of her.
As soon as she heard the old man's voice Gween ran. She hit him with as much psionic energy she could muster in an attempt to momentarily stun him and ran, out of the stall, out of the camp and out of the village. She spent the rest of the night and a full day out there, gathering her thoughts and wondering how it was that someone could hate another person enough to want to kill them.
Gween returned home two days after she had left to find the trade caravan had left that morning. Running home to tell her parents what she had seen Gween found them more angry than she had ever felt them before. They ignored her warnings and attempts to tell them of the man's plan and simply sent her to her room where she was to remain until she had 'learned her lesson'. Of course she couldn't remain there while she felt she had such crucial information so once she had determined that there was no chance of her parents listening to her anytime soon Gween left the house once again, leaving behind a note explaining what she planned.
Gween went after the caravan on her own, tracking them as they headed for the capital. Having never left the village before, however, she was easily sidetracked and forced to detour for food and water regularly. Having never been much for exercise she struggled to make the journey and arrived far too late to be of much use, long after the caravan had come and gone and the king had died quietly in his sleep with nothing suspicious or worth investigating as far as the city guard was concerned. Her pleas were again ignored, though shouting them loudly at the first guard she had seen and looking like a deranged lunatic probably didn't help with that, and Gween was sent home by the town guard after questioning.
She arrived back home to a village of sadness. In her absence it seems her parents house had burned down, with both of them in it. No one in the village suspected foul play, nothing more than an accident that had hit a sadness ridden couple who thought they had lost their daughter, but Gween knew from the moment she saw the ashes and felt the malice surrounding the house that someone had intended to kill her parents...and her as well.
Gween left the village and set out to find work as an adventurer, figuring that she could use her powers to fight evil and, in doing so, grow stronger. Perhaps strong enough that one day she could return home, uncover what had happened, and bring those responsible to justice. In the meantime, however, she made it her goal to stop anything like this from ever happening again.
Description
Spoiler
Gween is a young, short (5'6") and frail seeming half-elf. At first glance you could be forgiven for mistaking her for someone who has never seen combat, a waitress or bartender perhaps. At second glance, however, the chainmail she wears under her normal clothing and the spear she keeps strapped to her back clearly indicate that, despite her outwardly friendly personality and frail appearance she knows her way around a battlefield.
Gween keeps her blond hair long despite the issues it can cause in combat in memory of her mother, who had a similar hairstyle. She wears simple, functional but also flattering clothing. Her pointed ears and face clearly identify her as a half-elf and she makes no effort to hide that fact. She does nothing to hide the fact that she is a fairly attractive young woman, but neither does she overly emphasize that fact with her appearance or actions, preferring instead to look and act like someone far older than she actually is.
Personality
Spoiler
Gween is friendly to just about everyone she meets, chatting amicably with random strangers and always seeming to have the right thing to say. She has no issue with using her empathic abilities on those around her as she simply sees it as another sense. You don't cover you eyes when talking to someone else, so why should she cover her mind?
Gween is perfectly willing to fight, having been hardened over a year of adventuring into someone who won't hesitate to kill a monster but she still has issues with fighting and killing other sentient beings. She's gotten good enough with her powers to block their deaths out of her mind most of the time but her powers come with a built-in drawback. When she opens her mind to feel what another is feeling she can help or hurt that person, but whatever she does she will feel it. Stabbing a bandit and using her empathic abilities to demoralize him is far more damaging to her psyche that doing the same to a bear would be, and she's well aware of that fact. For that reason she usually tries to settle things with sentient beings with words if possible, force only if needed, and she hates arguments.
Gween is a skilled diplomat and lier, having practiced both skills in her youth. Her empathic abilities give her great advantages in reading people but even she can be confused by those who have made themselves deliberately hard to read. She tends to trust people quickly but mistrusts anyone she can't get a read on.

A note: today, tomorrow, and probably most of the day after that, I will not be on Giant. Borderlands 2 releases in two hours here in Ohio, so me and a few buddies are starting a Terramorphus rush tonight, and will likely not be stopping except for brief restroom breaks.
I know it sounds nerdy, but we have a running bet from the first Borderlands. There's two teams of four, losers have to pay for dinner for everyone at one of those cool Brazilian steak houses.
So I'll be on a bit tonight, but not much longer.

Well, I am most likely going to be unavailable on the 25th. The New WOW comes out then. I don't constantly play WOW, but I renew my subscription here and there.....then I get bored and stop it After I've played the crap out of it for a month or so
Also, Creed, does Hestia know where the Silver Steer is? She isn't really from around here, but as a dwarf I figure she would know were the bars are in a town. Isn't that, like, a racial power?
Only game in the buying pipeline right now is Persona 4 Arena, when they finally give us a release date in Europe that is. After that, I promised myself I wouldn't buy a game/book/movie... until I get another job.

So does the bard react at all to my question/statement?
Fixed it. Almost missed that.

Whatever plan you guys want to do, I'd go ahead and do it. Me thinks Hestia and Levistus are about to start wailing on people.......I don't know about Levistus, but Hestia doesn't tend to wait for "plans"
incandescent - You should have ran for 20 squares, if indeed your original speed is 6, then you get 2 for animal form, and another 2 for running......that would be 10 per run....so with a double run, 20 squares, or 100 feet.
I don't know, how far would you like to be? It really doesn't matter to me if you're five feet from the group or at the bottom of the gangplank at this point.

Pretty much as soon as she got on the gang plank, she would have gone up it, and smacked the first guy she saw......so pretty much, walked up the gang plank, used a minor, and then smacked a guy. Do we happen to have a map?
EDIT: Also, I give some bonuses here and there to Adj. Allies, so it would behoove melee people to be next to me, or ranged people behind me, but next to me
