@Mando Ahh, I see. That'd work well with Eltain's build too(He *doesn't* run out of teleportation powers), but unfortunately my neck slot, like my weapon slot, is permanently set. (Or I'd have Badge of the Berserker right now and more Charge stuff, as well as the Eladrin Ring of Transport as my allotted one rare item. Having that thing be neck slot is so massively annoying and inconvenient. Although what's really going to be inconvenient is when next level jump I'm probably going to be forced to be a + behind on my weapon, since my build requires a Frost Longsword, derp.)

A 2 and a 5. Brilliant. At least the Athletics check was high enough to climb a brick wall (DC 20) or make a 4-square long jump with a running start. Or clear a 4.4 foot obstacle with a high jump from a running start.

I'm married now! Had a D&D moment during pictures after the ceremony. We went to a park near the church, and our photographer was wondering how we wanted to pose for the next pictures.

"So how do you want to do this? All together? We could split the party."

At which point I had a knee-jerk reaction. "Never split the party! That's D&D Rule #1!"

One of my groomsmen who plays D&D with me, started cracking up, while everyone else just asked, "What's D&D?"

Hey,

So just to give a quick summary of (what I think) are the various options at this point, so y'all can choose what you want to go do next).

1) Barrier powered in the Elemental Chaos - This is what has the war in the Feywild at a standstill, and is the most direct way to penetrate the Fortress of Frozen Tears.

2) War in the Abyss - Could be tied in to traveling to the Elemental Chaos plot thread above, but it looks like Graz'zt is doing something big there that y'all only know bits and pieces about

3) The Drow Invasion - You've got Drow Armies on the move, a blind drow oracle who has given you info but retreated to the temple of Lolth, and rumors of the drow hiring some poisonmaster. Lots of possible points of exploration here.

4) Freeing Tiandra - back to the original quest that started all this. Head back to the Underdark via the teleporation coordinates that Cerzei gave you, and try to find that primal spirit of Fire.

5) What the devils are up to - They've all retreated back to Baator, and now have apparently kidnapped the person in Sigil who knows more about Portals than possibly anyone else in the multiverse.

So, as far as I see it, those are the options in front of you. I'm prepared to run with absolutely any of them, so feel free to debate the options IC. We've got Eltain's vote, but I'm curious to see how everyone else is feeling.

6) Go back to Fallcrest. Get in fresh new trouble there. Finally solve the mystery of Frank. Drive DM mad by making the original name of this game correct again now that it's been changed.

7) Something completely random that will make the DM go 'Wait, what the frak?'.

8) Start a band.

9) Visit Arvandor. Fail to leave and spend rest of game lounging about with hot Eladrin chicks.

10) Move to Equestria. This is now a MLP game. Frank and Yuri already have this down pat.

Hmm...amusingly enough, 6, 9, 10, and possibly 7 will result in the destruction of the world since the party won't be around to stop it. 8 would simply require me to come up with rules for "Spinal Tap: The RPG"

Eltain refuses to let his goal of at least *trying* to save the Prince of Frost go. Granted, there hasn't been anything in-game to even allow for trying, but when has practicality ever mattered to Eltain? ;)

Oh and by the way, congrats to Orsik, I don't think I ever got around to saying that either. So, yeah, Congratulations!

As far as what to do, I'll probably make an IC post about that later tonight, but to give a quick rundown now, Pavick will probably be most in favor of #4 (finishing what we've started would be nice). Hopefully leaving #3 in the hands of our capable NPC allies once we've informed them. Once we've done that, then perhaps go on to #1 & #2 (I see them as pretty closely related) or #5. Pavick's personal interests would probably go more toward #5, but he's unwilling to completely let the Feywild civil war continue any longer than he has to and #1 probably needs to be accomplished before it can really stop. As for the Prince of Frost, Pavick is pretty much convinced he's beyond saving. He's willing to let Eltain try, but wants to be ready expecting it won't work.

#6 I fully expect to happen at some point in the future, and #7 happens with some regularity throughout the campaign anyway.

*hugs* It won't be that way forever. I happen to be lucky enough to live in one of the few states that does allow same-sex marriage, even despite a lot of pushback. That gives me faith that eventually it will be accepted on a broader scale. (I hope I haven't brushed too close to the forbidden topics.)

Actually, I probably won't be getting married anytime soon either. My gf and I have been together for 11 years now and have pretty much decided we aren't going to bother getting a piece of paper.

Tiandra wasn't much use because she was caught more or less by surprise. She is a powerful figure amongst the archfey. More than that she could serve as a symbol to help pull the fey back together.

He's more interested in helping someone that he knows is good and that there is a definite chance of helping than trying to reform someone evil when there isn't even a clear chance of success.
