Hmm, I'm wondering what the most effective action for Lucan would be. I'm thinking 1: Get out of the blast zone for the dragon, and 2: Use second wind, but if anyone has any recommendations, I'm game.

A few other random ideas (none of which may be any good)

- Move out of the blast range & attack the dragon
- Move out of the blast range and attack the Pit Fiend
- Try and figure out what's going on with the angry githyanki & Baalzebul, and see if you can work it to your advantage.
- Moon the dragon, get a warm buttocks.
- Summon Yuri, CHARGE THE DRAGON
- Try and Bullrush either the dragon or the Pit Fiend into the electricity
- Jump off the arena and try to land on a passing ship

edit - Brilliant (ridiculous) idea: Delay til Pavick's next turn, have Pavick create a portal, then bullrush an enemy through that portal. "And that, children, is how we accidentally let a Pit Fiend loose in Celestia..."

Next round I'm going to be using a power that's going to let everyone adjacent to my spirit companion second wind as a minor action. So you might want to save your second wind for that.

Oh right, that. No he didn't. And I can't seem to find where the damage is listed though I'll keep hunting. The good news is I took 5 less damage from the poison due to my damage resistance, which will now be 10 for the next round due to my crit!

Let's see. Base damage is 56. Adding Crit - (4d6)[10] damage, and the Pit Fiend is knocked prone.

Yep, but he auto-ended the poison by taking 10 pts of damage to auto-save.

Hmm...does the vulnerability 10 count towards your auto-damage? I'd assume not, but I'm unsure offhand. Shine the Mando Knight signal! I have a rules question!

I don't want it to, but the rule of thumb is that where resistance applies, so too does vulnerability. I don't remember if the applicable clauses were ever updated, but p.276 of the PHB states that both apply whenever the creature takes damage of the applicable type. Oddly enough, the Monster Manual glossary specifies that vulnerability causes the creature to take extra damage from attacks, but makes the same more general statement for resistance that the PHB does. I'm under the assumption that vulnerability does apply to other sources and that the MM text is either not meant as an exclusionary statement (i.e. damage from attacks only) or is incorrect.

Oh, in addition to Aramil making an OA against the dragon, Ash can make one against the Pit Fiend for using a ranged attack in melee.

Pavick is going to go ahead and throw up his shield to save himself from the breath weapon. Even though it's half damage on a miss, 20 points is a lot better than 41.

I crit! So Ash uses Rod of the Bloodthorn's property power to steal a healing surge from Incirion and does (4d10)[29] extra damage.

I was hoping that since I crit, you would let Ash rend Incirions tail from his body. Pleeeeeeeeeease!

I'll post for Eltain later when I'm not so braindead.

Also, I'm out of healing other than Word of Life and possibly Trickery's Reward should someone get hit even after the penalty.
