OOC I need help in my real-life campaign I am a 13 lvl druid lvl, Summoner. My party is in a big city, like the capital of the world, Zakhara. Kinda like Waterdeep, but smaller Our party is wanted here. We found a lame sketch ((low-quality drawn)) and that gives us a disguise of 20. But i need more than that because i have to do some personal favor to my Patron. Anyway, any suggestions? I thought of casting Baleful Polymorph to myself to change and when i'm done to re-cast that on me to get back on my previous form. How does that sound?

Do you need to interact with people or can you do your' patron's favor from the shadows?
I ask because 1 it is probably painful, thus hard to concentrate. 2 it's permanent so unless you know exactly what you originally look like you probably will not be able to return exactly to normal.

@Vix: I am an Elf, so i guess i will transform in another male elf so i don't be something that different. Just in case. Just i will change some of my characteristics like a scar i have, my hair colour, eyes, some weight etc.. Btw my head has a reward of 500.000 gp ^,^
@Dead I have to assassinate someone ((I feel terribly sad about that in game though :/)). My patron is the leader of the fire elementals. An Efrit. And i have to kill a woman who makes some poisons which decreases the strengths of the efrit and it's easier for someone to capture them. And i have to kill her in the name of the Efrit Anyway. That's what i have to do. I must not get captured :/ Already our wizard has been arrested, it was totally his fault, so it's kinda critical to be extremely careful..
I thought of getting someone from my party sketch my portrait or something like that..
Balefulpolymorph the woman into looking like an efrit and set her on fire
mix up her poisons to give the efrits power instead
summon some elementals into her house while she sleeps
uh....tell the guards?

OMG, Kalegkos! What compelled you to pound a pint of pure alcohol? Drinking 1/4th of a cup of pure alcohol is enough to kill a full grown human! There are 2 cups in a pint, K... 8 times the lethal dosage.
I think you may be rolling up a new character. I don't think we have a cleric on hand strong enough to Neutralize Poison... it's like a 4th level Cleric spell.
Well he already puked right? I m holding him so he doesn't choke on it, and I think creating a stomach pump from thin air is a little beyond my abilities I feel guilty!

Well, I'm stuck. I have no idea how to post. The writer in me knows that the Sense Motive check was a hook, which is meta-gaming and therefore bad. And the part of me that wants to stay in character doesn't see why Dorval should care about whether or not Mjolnir dies. Based on what I can tell of him, Dorval is only a dwarf by birth and wouldn't have the same kind of racial ties that Mjolnir would've had if the roles had been reversed.
The clues I've picked up are:
Dorval no longer speaks with a thick accent.
He's all business.
Almost too polite.
He is playful and arrogant, not at all dwarf-like.
I'm guessing that, by this time, he's gone soft... humanized, so to speak. Therefore, in game, my character is not that surprised that Dorval was faking his concern about Mjolnir's well being. In fact, she kind of thinks he's a phony anyway, like most politicians. I rolled high enough on my Sense Motive check to see if he's under a mind compulsion spell like Dominate Person (DC 15) so I know he's "honestly" phony, so I don't really have any reason to act on this particular cue.
I guess the right thing to do is play it straight. Rationally speaking, Dorval has only known Mjolnir for less that an hour, and therefore has no real reason to care about his well being. He's already plainly stated that he feels he's more important than us, so the elitism plays a factor in his emotional detachment. And besides, based on the circumstances at hand, this isn't "The Dorval Show." Mjolnir is the one who, by all rights, should be dead. Right now he should be getting center stage, in Bel's mind. Once the situation has settled and we are certain that Mjolnir is fine, we can go back to business, or whatever else the situation may call for... which means the obvious cue to act will go ignored.
Well have you been getting the save vibe from him as me? He seems like hes hiding something it he knows more about this mission than he is willing to say. Maybe call him our on his lack of emotion?
All my Sense Motive checks say that I should trust him. From my perspective, he's untrustworthy; he may not even be an actual dwarf. But Bel doesn't see things that way. If I play it the way we all feel about him out-of-content, then I wouldn't be playing true to character.
OOC i don't like him either. It might be the whole arrogant style of his, i don't know. But surely i don't like him. The problem is that in-game i have no reason to not like him so there's nothing i can do :/
