Screwing around with early banshees s'more. It wins about 3/4 games, not seeming to care much about what league I'm playing in, or how many opponents I'm up against.
My protoss game needs work, and I'm getting better with Zerg (ZvZ seems to come down to "He who hits first, wins")
The time I took off screwed with my macro, though, so banshees account for the majority of my wins.
I'm still trying to master starting units, then I'll move up.
I'm really having a lot of fun lately with Reapers, but I see why no one really uses them competatively. Banshees fill the same roll only better, and can operate with greater impunity. And why tech into Jump Packs when one can tech into Siege?
I've also got a bit better at holding my natural in the early game. I'm just having trouble getting in the habit of building enough production to actually spend my income properly. Base plus Natural can sustain 6 Barracks rather well, which I seem to be able to handle macro-wise, and I rather enjoy the constant pressure it allows me to apply. 8 Marines + 2 Marauders every (30?) seconds is cheap, efficient, and I can do that all day. You can accomplish quite a bit with a force of that size really. And since I'm not spending all that much on gas, it makes air-tech and production rather attractive.
So now I plan on working some Hellions into the mix, and then tanks after that. I'm going to force myself to get good with these units again, and then it's on to Protoss.

Can someone please help me. I've been looking high and low throughout the internet trying to find the name of a song. Its a song the IEM plays during commercial break. It is at the beginning of this video as well as at 55:30 of the same video. I know it is a LoL game, but I couldn't find and IEM SC2 game to post that had that song in it.
Its been really bugging me since I really want to know the name of that song...

Was in the second link for the google search "iem intro song" Here.
Worked for me on Internet Explorer. Must be something to do with your plugins.
IIRC, it is based on HTML 5, so you need a browser that is HTML 5 compatabile (the most current versions of the browser. IE 6 or Netscape isn't going to work. )
So, DarkMemnarch and I got into a big argument over protoss, specifically the 2 base, 7 gate, all-in blink stalker strat. He has lost so often that apparently he now quits every game of protoss because he can't beat it, calling protoss the most broken, overpowered, non-beatable race in the entire game. When I got fed up with arguing against him acting like Idra, I sent this to feedback@day9.tv:

So, I got into this big argument with my friend. He is Diamond league and plays zerg. In almost every ZvP he plays, his opponent goes into 2 base all-in 7 gate blink stalker strategy and can never win against it. He now has reduced himself to Idra's level and leaves the game at loading screen if it says protoss, saying protoss is the most broken and OP race ever. Now, I'm gold and can't execute the 2 base 7 gate blink all-in strat, so I can't figure out exactly how to beat it, but I know it CAN be beaten! This game is not broken! There is no Overpowered race. There's a way to beat it.
Anyways, this is a major specific request that would be REALLY REALLY AWESOME if you did. If you could do a Daily that is focusing on specifically countering this type of 7 gate all-in blink strat, similar to how you did the "Countering the 4 gate" daily. I just want to prove to him that zerg can win against protoss when they do this so that he doesn't give up.
Please Day 9. I'm a major fan of yours and I'm sure there are a ton of zergs struggling against this as well.
Behold my suprise when just 20 minutes later, I recieve this:

Thanks for the email, I'll pass along that you (and your friend!) would like to see a daily on beating that strategy. Thank you for watching!

If he does this, this would be SOOO AWESOME!!! And DarkMemnarch will have no excuse to just leave every game against toss at load screen anymore.

I was exaggerating a bit. <.<

Well, I call exaggerating a bit is a one time use of a phrase, followed by actual discussion on how to solve the problem. Not constantly rephrasing it over and over and giving no discussion on how to solve the problem at all.
