I liked the idea. Savior was pissed off by it, because i was the one doing the posting. Are we able to assume Kormak's Sacred bond never went off because the Punk didn't have the focus component that Altair is always wearing? Honestly, i do agree that i'd have told him if you let me in on what was going on though. Unfortunately, we're only friends online, but we're the best of friends, lol.
To be nice, Kormak's spell will be saved. I would have informed him about it not working sooner, but I didn't read the spell itself until it was too late.
Spell does no damage to good characters. Like Ortega. And only does half damage to neutral characters. He's assuming Marisa is good.
Okay, but it's assuming a lot considering she's a Fey creature (I did say she was a Nymph in the presence of Kormak and everyone else) and most Fey are Neutral.
I'll make a few save here (vs DC 20):
Spoiler
(1d20+12)[26] (1d20+8)[14] (1d20+12)[26] (1d20+22)[38] (Don't get freaked out, this character does have a few Buffs on)
So....what happens. Ortega is at 38 Nonlethal damage, and his current HP is 30. So arguably he should be going unconscious, right? Does that mean i never actually got the grapple off?
Hmm, I'll give him 1 round of Grapple as his massive body falls on top of the guy. Though Ortega is now unconscious and will likely be easily removed from Nefarious on his turn though.
Ortega's attempt will not be in vain!
Also, some conceptual stuff for what Noxville looks like seeing as the character will probably fight seriously against you guys.
Spoiler
The other three have pictures, but that's for another time.
If Kormak were to heal him, removing the Nonlethal damage and increasing his health, would Ortega be able to return to consciousness and attempt to maintain his grapple on his next turn?
If he has more HP than nonlethal damage, he regains consciousness but is prone due to passing out. The same with being brought to -X hit points and being brought back to the positives.
Good. Since according to the rules, healing will restore his HP, and remove his Nonlethal damage on top of it. One good heal will put Ortega back on his feet
Noxville is Altairs only target. Of course he wouldn't waste time on an apparently unarmed man. Thus, I could take my AoO on Noxville for manifesting a power. And with any luck disrupt his concentration and make it fail. Right?

True, but Noxville used two Powers this turn, one was a Touch Power and the other was Quickened. No AoOs on either of them I'm afraid.
Though you can still take the AoO on the Archer if you'd like...
Soon enough he's gonna hate Altair and Ortega too. We're gonna show the big bad noxville that we are capable of more than just hitting things with a stick. Oh!!! Did shield other transfer damage when Altair got hit by hostile empathic transfer?
Also, not to split hairs. But wouldn't the standard action manifesting of the touch power provoke? The touch doesn't i know. But the manifesting would, according to the SRD
I would, but seeing as I let Ortega use his Touch Power without receiving an AoO in the battle against the Astral Constructs a while back. So I'm giving the first Touch Spell/Power to the first enemy that pulls one off. I was surprised that Noxville was the one to do it considering what I had cooked up...
So from here on out, these spells will start provoking regularly again.
Edit: And I don't remember Kormak resetting the Shield Other on spell on Altair for this battle. But I guess the damage would be split between the two if it were to happen, considering the power only mentions going through DR and Regeneration type effects.
Oh I didn't expect to get it. I just wanted to be sure. Quite frankly I hadn't thought of it when i used Ortegas powers. But I figured I'd make sure there wasn't something I was missing
And damn. I thought we convinced you to let us keep shield other going even though we broke range. Just suppressed while out of range. I didn't say anything about it before now bebecause way i read the spell nonlethal damage wouldnt be transferred.
Well worth a shot. Wish me luck. I don't wanna fall unconscious before i can hit Noxville in the face some more. Also...I might just end up actually getting killed in here. This fight has been a ton of fun, compared to fights i've had in other games. Like Avete Vos.
And now, Ortega is taking Lethal damage from the whip. Oh what a sad day this is. And he's unconscious again. Just informing you. At 43 nonlethal damage, he is one point over his max HP of 42.
Just so you know, in case it matters at all. Thanks to Altair's ring of Sustenance he only needs two hours of sleep to be treated as a full eight hours. He always takes first watch, and stays up all night for his allies to get a full eight hours, then takes two hours for himself while they are awake. Also, every night before bed, Ortega burns a Sustenance power for the night. And we are under the assumption that before he went to sleep, Kormak used absolutely every bit of healing needed to to heal us up to full. He has enough spells for that.
You do know it's only around 2-3:00 PM max. The sun isn't even close to being down yet, so where are you getting this darkness from? An alleyway? Did you take the young woman into a dark corridor and tell her something like that?
