flip a coin. i'm serious. that's altair's current decision making process.

Yea, we're fine with it. Kormak will pretty much follow Altair to the ends of the earth, so you don't have to wait for him to post when Altair chooses a direction.

Okay, so you've picked path [Delta #21]. Hmm I figured you'd go down [Beta #7] but I guess it was a bit too vague. And [Alpha #2] would have probably killed ya, so good choice in not taking that path.
Edit: Just give me some time to whip something up as I'm a bit busy with some other things at the moment.

I don't get why the dice gods keep on having me roll away from the more obvious combat encounters... I guess this game prefers more RP stuff over Hack and Slash. Next time I'll litter the boards with battles or something.
well, for all we know, you've got an encounter waiting for us right inside that building.

"Obvious combat encounters" cause knowing you guys, you'll probably piss someone off or get into a fight with someone about something. Kormak for hitting on pretty women, Ortega for being pretty much a brute, and Altair... well Altair hasn't done too much to anger anyone specifically. Though Altair might have upset that merchant back at that Gothic tavern when he didn't buy anything.
It was guns. why the hell would a man trained in the art of using any number of psychic swords ever want to use a gun? And Ortega, despite not talking much, is actually very wise, considering thats one of his highest stats
On that note, Altair really really wanted to kill that lady, Kormak just figured that Ortega wouldn't have been able to survive if he didn't stop the fight.

It feels like we, as a group, are starting to drift apart. This saddens me a bit, but PBPs have the tendencies to get boring after so long unless drastic matters are taken. I'll like to here what you guys think.
If this game has become uninteresting for you guys and you'd rather play other things, just tell me and maybe we can either do something to liven things up, or simply go our separate ways without any hard feelings.
No no its mostly me. Sav's still way into it, i'm just kinda off and on with my games. i read it, i get distracted, i forget to post. I promise you we're still enjoying it, i'm just off in half a dozen different directions between work and life and simplistic problems. I promise we're still in for it. sorry.

I offer up a suggestion. We keep the story and places the same, but let me and Meem change characters. We're out of our comfort zone, and are getting, well i know i am, disgruntled. Not used to prepping spells, more used to being a random melee guy. So, although we're interested in it like always, just let us rebuild new characters.
Note: Meem needs to talk to you about Ortega. I am still not taking leadership. Not my style.
Also, also. If we advanced it to a city, or heavily populated place, or something more social, we can have more entertainment then special operations, scanning a cabin. xD
I actually do agree. I will admit being a soulknife isn't quite what i had hoped it would be, and the personalities for Altair and Ortega are just not my kind of thing. I would go for it, odds are myself and Sav would switch roles, and if you let me, i'd take Leadership for a healer type that i could play better. Maybe retcon our story so that our new characters take the place of Altair, Kormak, and Ortega and we can continue down the plot you've got for us.

Hmm, new characters seem like a better compromise than a whole new game.
So we'll go with lvl 10 characters, with magic items at your disposal. No single magic item can be more than half your WBL. Once you've got characters, I'll look them over or tell you if certain races or classes will be ill-adviced for this game. Though this world is actually pretty lax.
Concerning a city, you three were actually heading towards a pretty large one after the cabin incident. Hmm, we could start your guys' new story there.
So, want me to end the three characters' story on a high note or a low note?
Do you remember the character creation guidelines? Or should i go digging through my history for those? Also, Me and Sav were talking, and he was thinking of trying the cryptic class, from Psionics Expanded, if you don't have any of the books, i've got a writeup of the class i can email you so you can have access to it. As for our characters, i figured you could do with them what you want, maybe incorporate them into the world as NPC's. Would be a shame to see them die and all, lol.

I don't mind if they live or die, i just thought it would be a shame to let them die just because we got bored of them. In the end, its your decision, i don't mind either way.
Edit: Nevermind, i found it, although obviously it'd be updated to level ten, either way, reposting it here to make sure its what you were thinking.
Character Creation:
Backstory: Try to associate your characters together by some means. It doesn't have to be an Epic or Novel, though I'd prefer more than just "We are good friends that met in a Tavern one day."
Experience: lvl 9 (Fast Progression so 50,000exp at the start).
Wealth: Standard for lvl 9 (47,000gp). You may spend all your money on 1 item if you want regardless of whether it be mundane or magical, though certain game breakers (like Candles of Invocation) don't exist in this world. Once you've selected what Magic and/or Psionic items you'd like to have, make me a list on this forum (with links if you want) so I can okay those items for your character. Don't worry too much about this though, as I'm fairly generous just as long as I don't think the item will ruin the game (I'll state my reasons if you are confused by my refusal).
Ability Scores: 30 Point-Buy. Enjoy.
Hitpoints/Health: Max at lvl 1, Average or Roll for each HD past lvl 1. If you roll and get under average, you use average instead. Average is calculated by: ([Max HP for Hit Dice] + [Con Mod]) divided by [2] rounded up.
EX: Rogue with 14 Con = an Average of [(8+2)/2] = 5 Hit Points
Alignment: Depending on your chosen class. Though Paladins and Antipaladins are the alignment of their chosen Deity.
Other Notes:
- Psionic/Magic Transparency.
- If you plan on taking the Leadership Feat, then view the spoiler below. If not, then skip the spoiler.
Spoiler
The Leadership feat grants the PC a cohort, but no followers. Cohorts cannot take Leadership and a Cohort uses Heroic NPC stats determined by the PC (You recruited this person, so he/she should be mildly competent in his/her field). Cohort's personality is determined by me, though combat actions will be performed by the Leadership PC.

Walter the kineticist, is done, Cohort will be coming shortly.
Rolling for HP (9d6)[5][2][6][1][3][3][3][4][1](28)
Just realized by that equation, with my con mod of +4, i'm supposed to take five for everything that didn't turn out to be a 5 or 6. I'm gonna go with average of 3.5, unless you say otherwise.

That would actually get you more HP than my little rule of averages, as (3.5+4) would get you 7.5 HP per roll bellow 4... I guess that is fine and all, though I'll ask if Savior is cool with everything.
His sheets actually done already, except for the fluff, he was waiting for me, since we've agreed to link both our characters and my cohort together.

Any city-related information you might need for your characters?
As you two will be starting in the 5th continent, I'll give you background information based on your characters' backgrounds/classes/races. Though your characters could be as blind to the world as you like cause luckily the BN (Bardic News) still remains a part of everyday life even way out here on the "Damned Continent of Potentially Evil Causalities".
Nah. Going intentionally vague. Two Elans and a human. Savs the human. Tomorrow when I get to it I'm gonna drop 50 gold for a BN subscription too. From my characters remaining money. Thanks for reminding me.

Rosealine is complete, my cohort, the party healer and hopefully more fun to play than Ortega, personality wise.
