Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
How do I change the mailing address. I'm moving last minute and I want to avoid the mail going through limbo. I dont know exactly how the mailing information works considering it goes through Amazon, Kickstarter and finally Rich.

You give your address through the survey Rich is going to send out via Kickstarter when it is time to get your prizes headed your way.
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for that in my inbox.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Yup, looks like the surveys for the $25 level are going out now. Got mine all filled in. So now I just wait and in a couple of months, when I've forgotten all about it, there'll be an art print, a new OOTS book, and all sorts of goodies in my mail. Looking forward to it!
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Just did my survey for a $32 reward level pledge (these might be somewhat sequential by when you pledge too - I was in the first 150 or so people in, that might be irrelevant, though, hard to say).

It's based off of level.

Probably sequential within reward levels.
I'm #156 and sitting at the $83 pledge level. Waiting excitedly.

Yep, just got my $35 e-mail there. Must be based on level.
Oh and YAAAAYYY!

Got that from the comments in the Kickstarter project site. I think that will clear up the questions about the surveys. Also:

According to Rich on the comment section of the kickstarter page:
OK, I have now sent surveys for every package that is 1.) both unsigned and does not include any original artwork or highly limited items like special magnets, and 2.) shipping in an envelope instead of a box.
Edit: ninja'd

Hey, I'm at that level too. High five!
Hey, you know, since we're in the same level, we could maybe get lucky and find out if you're right. Assuming we both are online right when we get the surveys.
... probably not. Oh well.

This is the one disadvantage of selecting a Patience package...I now have to exhibit some patience because my survey won't be going out until all the non-Patience ones have!

You had me worried gunslinger, I was trying to post right as you were doing this and the server kept sending me to a page saying I did not have authority to access this page. I checked for messages/infraction notice/locked thread~~panic, panic. I was just about to reboot when this came up.
Anyway, I am glad that people are starting to get the notices for shipping of envelope only pledges. Unfortunately for me, I will probably have a long wait. $250 pledge that has been upgraded several times. And if thats not bad enough, I will have limited/no internet access for the next three weeks starting Friday. Oh well, with any luck by the time I get back I will have a lot of catching up on these threads and on the KickStarter site. The pledge drive was as fun as reading the regular comic considering we got bonus comics almost every day, with lines.
edit: blasted spelling errors I don't catch untill after I hit reply.

Oh, I feel your pain. The last survey I'm waiting for is the one for Patience for a Signed Print.
We should establish a support group for us poor unfortunate not-so-patient-as-we-want-to-be souls
On a side note, I'm not 100% sure what shipping address I should give the Giant.
1) I'm not sure I won't move between now and the arrival.
2) Our postwoman is known to shove packages into our postbox (with as much force as is needed) or let them sit on the top step and wait for anyone to pick it up, come hell or high water (or massive rain)
… so I'm thinking about using my best friend's address for shipping. (He also chipped in for some of the swag and a patch, so it's not like he'll be "what the what is this, I don't remember anything about this, oh let's throw it away".) Thoughts on this, fellow backers?

Another idea, if possible, would be shipping to parents (and tell them beforehand so... that's said I just remembered I have to tell my father I lent his credit card for this )
I ship home and hope the box is big enough that I have to take it from the post station personally rather than the post man is folding it in my post in box.

My parents' postpeople act much the same, so unfortunately that's not really a viable option
Tricky situation. My post office would be more convenient for me should they really leave one of those yellow notes ("we tried to deliver, nobody home, pick it up at the post office")… but there's no way to tell which route they'll choose, the yellow note or the shoving into the postbox.
Hmm, side question: will the national postal service deliver, or UPS/DHL/something like that? I'm quite sure it's the former.

Delivered to work? That's where mine are going, for very similar reasons.

It depends on your pledge, the books alone were planned the end of April according to me.
But the schticky sticks expansion takes more time so is not expected untill June (at least that's what they say).

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
The Giant is sending out surveys as soon as practical, regardless of when your order will arrive, because he needs to know how many donors live in Texas or Pennsylvania, and thus how much of the money he's collected needs to be given to the governments of those states as sales-tax receipts. From what he's said on Kickstarter, he only has until the end of March to get those numbers in order.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Alternate account #2 was sent the survey this morning. That was at the $36 dollar level. This confirms for those people who just couldn't live without having extra swag that the survey is sent to the email used for the KickStarter account reguardless of the account used for Amazon. Now to wait for the main account email.
