Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I actually got my survey weeks ago. I went for the $35 SSDT package - can anyone else who got that confirm that was the right time? I wouldn't be concerned, but from the sound of things most people are just getting theirs now.
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
I mostly feel like a moron right now. I think I clicked the no button and then used my down arrow to scroll, which switched the choice to yes.
A warning to all - be careful with your clicking.

I've got the survey for my $35 pledge a few weeks ago too.
The surveys are send out at different times depending on what pledge level you chose.

Haven't got mine yet, but I assume that's because it's a Patience package--do we actually only get our surveys after everyone else's packages have been sent out, or just after their surveys have?

Probably before everyone elses packages are sent out (so that things are ready to start being shipped as soon as the non-patience stuff is dealt with), and certainly after all the other surveys are out.
I'd say they wont go out immediately after the other surveys are done with (which I don't know if that has happened already) but give it another week or two at least.

On the KS forum Rich has responded on questions about the patience packages surverys as following:
"Patience surveys are not going to go out for a few weeks, probably around the time that other packages are shipping (April/early May)."

Can we only select members of the order for the crayon drawing or any characters from the comic?
I'm quite sure it means any character from the comic. Since I've read about some of the choises people made (Miko meeting the Oracle I believe?) and they are definitly not party members!
Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Crayon drawings can be any character from the comic as long as they're not parody characters of someone else's IP that appeared as a joke (like Batman).
That said, pick the characters you really want hanging on your wall, don't just try to "stump" me with something obscure. Also, don't expect a whole lot of dialogue; the crayons are not conducive to long word balloons.
It's about to hit Top Ten status less than 12 hours into the project. It will almost certainly pass this drive when all is said and done (no shame in that, BTW) and probably will crack 2M by the end.
Doubt it will pass Double Fine though. Not unless they copy Rich's Use Updates to Drive Pledges model.

The kid should have know Fallout (the one that is made with Oblivion engine). How many of you are fed up with Current Fallout made by Bethesda?
This song gonna fit with this.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
There's only one Bethesda Fallout, thankfully. New Vegas is the original team, and, interestingly, includes almost all of the major plot and character concepts that were going to be in their Fallout 3 (AKA "Van Buren").
Not that a proper Post-Apocalyptic Role-Playing Game won't be welcome. Because it will.

"It’s turn based, tactical, with a storyline that will be deeper and broader."
Hmmmm. Turn Based CRPG.
"At $1.5 million, the world gets even bigger. You’ll have more adventures to play, more challenges to deal with, and a greater level of complexity to the entire storyline. We’ll add more environments, story elements, and characters to make the rich world come alive even more. We will even be able to bring Wasteland 2 to OS X for Mac lovers."

I'm afraid I'll pass - and just buy it (if interested) once it is out. The problem with this one is it lacks the documentary aspect of the Double Fine drive. Seems this is nothing but a sales gimick. Now, I'm not against KickStarter to fund stuff like this, but you've got to make it more interesting in the "rewards" department, else I'll just buy it retail.

Yep! But refuse to have "I took the pledge" badge. I am not getting a magnet nor E Books (the Ochul thingy) yet.
P.S- I hope we get to see if Azure City have a little exception on "other green people" or not (or she's just wanted to be an ninja instead of club wielding berserker).

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
This has probably been asked over a million times, but my google-fu is weak: Will the books be available for general purchase for those of us that missed the kickstarter? Or is there some way I can throw money at Rich for a copy even though the kickstarter is over?
