Just got my package, didn't expect it this quickly as it only shipped last Thursday. Everything looks great, thanks so much! Only problem is I had two items missing from mine: Sticky Shticks and the participation patch. Hope there aren't a lot of packages missing items!

I already messaged Rich about it, posting here to give people a heads up to check their packages carefully just in case. (and yes, I double-checked my survey and I did request both of those items)

I just got mine today and have stuff I didn't ask for; a hit point pad, sticker sheet, and coloring book.

Everyone that got a order in got that, so you did not need to ask for that.

I want my package, I am ready for the awesomeness that is OOTS

Didn't that stuff get added to any order over a certain amount?

Did it? If so I must have missed the memo. I thought the coloring book at least was an add-on for extra money deal.

No an extra colouring book was extra, the first one was for "free".

Ah, the memories.

I got my game today ($80 level, in the US) And I have to say these rules look complicated. I mean REALLY complicated. I hope It's easier to teach others in person than to teach your self out of the massive book. It looks fun though.

Just go ahead and play. I felt the same when I first read the booklet, but it is really straightforward. Just start with a simple game (without too much PvP and background story stuff (if you have those cards)) and work from there. Remember: it is a game involving Elan and Belkar. It can never be complex, it does not have to make sense and people will die .

I'm just posting to repeat something I just said over at the KS Comments page:

Also, regarding new Ookoodook orders: I can't rule out that some new orders won't go out before some of the straggler orders that need stuff like address corrections or other changes. I think they're cruising through the orders that are fully ready-to-ship, then splitting off into two teams: one that handles the idiosyncratic stragglers and one that starts on the new Ookoodook orders.
And yeah, the first coloring book, notepad, and sticker sheet were free as long as you were ordering a package physically large enough to include them. The second coloring book was $5.

I see. Thank you. I ordered the game package, and tomorrow is my geek group's monthly board game night, so the timing was perfect. Thanks to you and everyone at Ookoodook.

It came! Awesome! Wow, and I only got my shipping notice on the 5th...

I, too, have felt some intimidation going through the game. It looks fun though, and I'm really thrilled to have it at last.

Lucky guy I got mine on the 16th of August. But I do live in the Netherlands so the traveling of the books is a bit longer.

I just got my game last week and there are so many cards! Still waiting for my patience package thought.

I do have one questing thought, why do three of the tray slots have no finger slot that reach the bottom of the tray? Althought one of the slots is where you keep your counters and stands, the two others slots, one loot and one battle, have a space at the bottom where you cannot pickup a card from unless you flip the box upside down or use your fingernail to pick up a few cards at a time.

The way I dealt with this was to store the cards sideways.

I guess it has already been pointed out, but i just noticed something fun in the coloring book:

Go on page 13, the find-the-words game...
Well, turns out there are a few more words than the ones listed...
Spoiler

there may be more, and again other people has likely found it before me, but i wanted to post it anyway

No idea. I had absolutely no hand in designing the box insert. Sorry.

My game package has arrived, but unfortunately I have to pick it up at the customs office as I feared. Because of its worker-unfriendly opening hours, that's not possible before Monday. Oh well, at least I now have a concrete date to look forward to.

I has gotten the loot, sadly I needed to pay the taxes even though I donated money (so I need to try to get everything back as soon as I can),

but it's awesome.

So I'm confused. I ordered the $32 pack with some extra stuff added on for $40. I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. Can someone clue me in to what I'm missing?

No probably not all packages are send out, or the shipping notice takes a bit longer. It happens.

I ordered the 25$ package with another 40-odd$ worth of stuff tacked on and I havn't gotten mine yet. I'm assuming that we probably fell into the group that needed patches when they thought they had run out, so we got shunted further back along the line.

No patch on mine. It appears that Sticky Schticks is probably my hold-up. I'm surely one of the 77 packages with Sticky Schticks for my package level that hasn't been shipped, yet. Would love to have some kind of live counter so that I would know when to be concerned. lol

EDIT: I don't know why, but I always think it's really cool when I run in to someone on the interwebz who is somewhat close by. Sorator, you are apparently only about an hour from me. I'm in Jonesboro, AR.

I was one of the last of the Sticky Schtick packages, and I got mine earlier this week. I had the artwork package, with extra coloring book (one to color, one to keep "mint" for my retirement fund!), and all the bonus swag. I did get my notification a few days earlier, and USPS tracked it all the way through the system. I had the added headache of being at an overseas APO address, with the usual customs clearing...

All I can say is be patient, it will get to you! I'm sure the Giant will post when the last package goes out; then you can panic. But not before then!
