Clearly smiling to me. As proof, look at the larger version:
Because blushing and embarrassment and sexy feelings should all always be fun.
Sorry to be a killjoy, but there's a medical condition that makes some persons blush a lot for no reason. (I've forgotten the name for it.)

When I first saw your relationship update, it seemed to me you were with a girl. Which confused me a bit, but I didn't ask then because I didn't want to spoil it on FB. *I am stupid*

Someone else was like "Who is he? Or her?" and I was like "You do realize gay means I am attracted to just men, right?"
A good date is one in which the surrounding circumstances didn't really matter because the only thing that was important was the other person(s). Looking, blushing, talking... it's amazing how hot things can get without even actually touching.

Interesting thing about this one was that it's the first I've got so far that asked "What is your gender?" and gave you a textbox to answer in rather than a multi-choice box.

As odd as it is for me to say this, I've got an anonymous statement from a friend of mine, requested to be shown to this thread:
Quote:
So...mmm...I’ve been feeling a little odd recently. I’m generally happy with my life. But...I’ve got this constant desire to be someone else.
I’ve been living out this desire through a character of mine, and she has become something of an alter ego for me, to the degree where people will call me her, instead of my usual name. And this character, is now what I would consider a part of me. She may only be a part of me I feel I can be on the internet, but still me.
Does that make sense? Is it weird?
I’m just a bit confused is all, and any advice or comments on this you have will be appreciated.

I'm a good writer and a romantic at heart. But of course, it may not be the perfect date - in which case it's good to remember that dating is a skill. It's something you learn. So it will probably be better next time.
Edit: And of course, I'm insanely curious. You have to tell me everything afterwards.

I wouldn't dream of hiding anything from you darling.

If he's really that bothered by it, he can speak to a professional, no?
As it stands, his anonymous statement isn't a whole lot to go on.
Though your post here reminds me that I've been around for awhile but I haven't seen any discussion of trans escapism in this thread directly before.
Anyone here remember anything along those lines coming up?

Androgynes are the best looking people, obviously~

The only problem is if the alter ego is a pony and ze starts eating hay for breakfast I don't see why it would be in lagerbeta unless the friend is male-bodied? In that case I would suggest uhm, self-exploration? The alter ego could help you learn more about yourself which is always good! Just don't let her consume you ._.
^: Just don't share it for too long. Over-exposure to Love makes our brains go crazy, after all.

It seems to have already consumed the entirety of their online persona already, if I'm reading the post correctly.
If that's actually a concern of theirs, well, I haven't the foggiest.

Wait, Pride Parades don't even have a little bit of trolling subtext to them for lampooning and poking fun at what the ignorant and wrongheaded think LGBT people are really like?
I would've sworn that having fun by making fun of false stereotypes was either part of their genesis or crept in there for at least some of them.

Natalie sounds like she could need a little love. If you could spread a little joy over there I'm sure she'd appreciate it.
I'm posting this from a mobile device right now, but when I have access to a computer I'll try to post something over there. I definitely am familiar with how being a vocal trans person, skeptic, and feminist can be incredibly frustrating.

Well, yeah, because frankly, Irish people have kinda proved that they're really really difficult to oppress. Also, it was really just Britain, and they're being nice now. (There are still problems in Northern Ireland, but generally, things are so much better than they were.) As far as I can tell, every other country likes the Irish! Having an Irish passport is a privilege.

Yeah, it must have been a 1000 years since we oppressed the Irish (although Swedes mostly went east).
Two Irish women wanted topic suggestions for their vlogg, so I said "Why not 1001 reasons to hate the English"? They didn't take it.

You've never heard of discrimination against the Irish in the Americas at all?

That's an interesting point alright. If I was in America, being born Irish or culturally Irish wouldn't be a privileged position. But here, it definitely is. Like I suppose being, say, Muslim, isn't a privilege here, but would be in Turkey.

Random, mood-improving links ohoy: This is adorable. This is de-stressing. This is fascinating (I totally did that with the mirror when I was little ). This and this are just plain feel-good.
I wish I had some links to LGBTA-relevant mood-lifters, but everything I have has already been linked here. Hope these'll do in a pinch, though.
Edit: Oh, and I hope you feel better soon. *hugs if you want them*
Those are adorable, fun and inspiring. Even if my biggest problem is a peculiar tiredness and chocolate-cured grumpyness, I thank you either way!

That does not look worrysome to me, rather it seems a healthy way to explore one's self and the possibilities given in a world where reality is less definite.
Do remember that I am not the best of sources on mental health, though. Misplaced mine long ago. :3

Sadly, love and joy is one of those things that money can't buy. Fetches a fine price in disco-dancing dhampires and daemons, though. But you haven't got it from me.
