From our slot machines to our Shots-Machine (a robot bartender, in case you were wondering), we've got it all! Everything you could possibly want or need for blowing your children's inheritance, wasting away your wealth, and driving yourself right into the poorhouse in a dangerous game of chance is right here! Slot Machines - You know 'em, you love 'em, they're in every self-respecting casino: they're the slots. There's three different kinds of slot machines, all set aside in their own section of the gambling floor, with varying payouts. Get three M's in a row, and you win the jackpot! If the machine fails to turn up any matches, or you wind up with three Remnant flags in a row, you lose.
Blackjack Tables - Also known as Twenty-One, this here's a thinking man's game. Inasmuch as a possibly rigged game of chance can be, of course. Robot dogs run these tables, and gods help you if they catch someone cheating.
Other Games of Chance! - I honestly can't be bothered to write something up for every casino game available. So yes, there's roulette, baccarat, craps, poker and whatever else you might expect to find in a casino. If you absolutely must play something harder to follow and write for than Blackjack and the slots, then go ahead. I'll totally be passive-aggressively glaring at you from my OOC corner the whole time, though.
The Bar - It serves drinks. They have funny names, with maybe a luck and gambling sort of theme to them. Do you really need me to tell you any more than that? If I'm busy, just have an NPC hand you a drink and leave me alone.
The Stage Cabaret Lounge - Not far from the bar, here's where you can find tonight's entertainment. Patrons are discouraged from heckling performers or trying to join them onstage by a combination of our polite but firm security detail and the fact that most of our performers are pretty capable in a fight themselves. Please don't make a scene, and remember: The casino is not liable if you come back out substantially less intact than when you came in.
The Restaurant - Wait, are you serious? There are people in the Nexus who actually eat food? Weird. Let's include a restaurant for 'em, then. Toss in a buffet line and maybe dress up the bartenders like those card guys from Alice in Wonderland. Take some flowers and paint them red too, just to go with that general theme. Oh, and make everything really expensive for no good reason! High prices on everything, even the salads! Woo, that was easy!

Backstage - Exactly what it sounds like. Dressing rooms, controls for the lighting equipment, etc. I don't think I really need to go into much more detail, honestly. There's enough privacy back here to do something rotten and immoral, so long as you're quiet about it.
Employee Lounge - A water cooler full of red wine sits here, as well as a number of couches, cushy chairs, and some silly motivational posters. I honestly don't really see this ever getting any use, but I'm including it anyway just in case.
Dead Elf Storage Room - This isn't where the Gambling League of Gambling keeps everyone's coats and weapons. No, that's the next room on this list. This is where unmentionables go, at least until they're needed elsewhere. Drugs, refugees, hostages, confiscated customer materials...basically anything and everything Magtok can get his villainous hands on.
Coat and Weapons Storage - If you've got a prominent sword on you when you come in, it gets taken here. If you'd like to drop off your coat while you stay, you let the staff put it here, too. Pretty self-explanatory. Attempts to rob the Coat and Weapons Storage room will be seen as an attack upon the casino itself, and such thieves will be executed on the spot by Magbot staff.

Maggy's Office - Y'know, I really don't see why Magtok insists on including a private office for himself in all of his businesses. It's not like he can't just telewarp into his home at any given time, after all. Anyway, there's some chairs for people to sit in, pretty purple carpeting, green $ sign wallpaper, a hidden shotgun strapped to the bottom of the mahogany desk, and a framed picture of the moon on the back wall. He's probably got more sneaky tricks and murder-weapons hidden in here, but I have no idea where they are, so you'll just have to figure it out on your own.
The Chamber of Honesty and Fair Play - There aren't many rules here in Club Magtok. All the more reason to emphasize them, of course. Anyone caught cheating or otherwise getting on Magtok's nerves is brought into this filthy, disgusting, soundproof concrete room. A number of hammers, nails, circular saws, and other toys stand on a shelf off to one side, just begging to be used on any unlucky sucker dragged in here.
The Big Important Money Vault Full of Money - This is the grand vault that both stores patron's money, and houses the machine regulating the flow of slot machine tokens. A series of tubes and pipes connects all the slot machines together, because apparently Maggy was just too lazy to include a token-storage unit in the slot machines, and couldn't be bothered to stuff an entire jackpot's worth of tokens in each one.

Disclaimer stuff:The Gambling League of Gambling is meant, obviously, for more than just losing and winning currency in a setting where currency means absolutely nothing. Underneath the neon gleam and polish, there's a dark, seedy underbelly to this MagCasino, and folks are free to try to interact with it. Entertainers may have to throw away their dignity just to nail that big gig, security personnel may find themselves paid to keep quiet about all manner of dark secrets, and anyone trying to expose MaGLoG for what it is will almost certainly be dealt with in an exceedingly brutal manner. We'll work with just about anyone, so long as there's money to be made.
Anyways, rules!
1: I hate to steal from Vael's Mallside post, but please don't destroy the Gambling League without discussing it in OOC first. Chances are I'll say no, but it doesn't hurt to try, right? Who knows, maybe your idea is just cool enough to warrant the destruction.
2: Please don't have huge fights in the casino. Broken bottles are okay, radioactive homing magic bullets are not. Exercise some restraint, and if you have any doubts as to what will and won't be tolerated, please ask the management.
3: The casino is public, so please, no curtaining, or drug use beyond the expected alcohol/nicotine junk. Unless you're not a Remnant investigator, successfully pay off the right people, and get a private room for that sort of thing, of course. Even then, try to keep it short and most of it to the imagination. There's other people doing stuff here too, y'know!
4: I am not always going to be online, unfortunately. I know, it's a huge shock to me too, but apparently there's this "Real Life" thing that insists on getting in my way! It teams up with this big tough guy called "Sleep" to drag me off every now and then, too. Feel free to NPC-ify the casino staff a little. It has to be within reason, though. The bartender will serve whatever you want, but you're not going to seduce that dealer into giving away all his MagTokens without at least a little Mag-involvement.
5: Don't think about the layout much. Like Inside and Mallside, it'll change when it damn well feels like changing. Maggy's office might be upstairs today and smell of cheap Coffin Nail cigarettes, but wind up on the ground floor tomorrow, with a faint odor of coconut oil and human remains. The slot machines might be in a completely different room, or within shouting distance of those slovenly drunks at bar.
Final Note: The Gambling League of Gambling OP is presently (and always will be) a work in progress, I'm afraid. Feel free to enter, as most of it will stay fairly consistent, and we'll do our best to notify the public of any major changes, but anything and everything could change at a moment's notice, so please, watch your step.
Oh, and any similarity in name to charity organizations focused on redemption are entirely coincidental. Totally, completely, and absolutely a coincidence. So don't bother suing.

Nadia blinks. A whole... "Irena, don't you think that's a bit much?" A whole bottle is way more than she needs to have! Irena's face reflects her opinion on Irena endeavoring to drink that much. It's mostly concern at least.

Not his best exit, and he didn't quite befuddle and perturb her as much as he'd hoped, but by and large, I think we can call this a success. When it comes to auctioning Magtok off, there'll probably be one more wallet on the line, furiously out for revenge, hoping to get the winning bid and make that cyborg pay by washing windows, dusting floors, painting walls, or whatever else it is that she'd be able to come up with.

That certainly causes her to raise an eyebrow. "Whoa, I didn't know you were a druid. You really didn't seem the type." She observes as she watches Reinholdt's catform. "Are you protecting nature from here?" She then asks with a slight smile.
[Cessie and Magtok]
The mage sigh and shakes her head, she hadn't been finished with the cyborg but it didn't matter now, she did disagree with him though. "Have a good evening yourself Magtok."
Now she turns to the rest of the party and notices an familiar figure. Was that... Ilpholin? She looked a bit different but it was possible she was wearing some sort of costume. The clothes were revealing as always but she had tried to accept them by now, just as she tried to accept the clothes of everyone around here.
Slowly she approaches the drow/demon and attempts to catch her attention by waving a bit, "Ilpholin, that was quite a while ago. How are you?" Cessie asks in a gentle voice.
"Pfft. Druids. They envy me and want to get in my pants." Reinholdt says, licking a paw and rubbing his ear.
"I'm actually a full on cat, with the ability to turn into a human."
[Cessie and Magtok]
"I'm doing good Cessie! Really good!"
"Hope you are as well." Ilpholin adds.
To her credit, Ilpholin is probably wearing one of her least revealing outfits of all time! Except when she wears the big fluffy dresses that she likes. Which is rare.
"Lolth came to me in my dreams and blessed me with a newer, better form! I'm so lucky. What do you think?" Ilpholin turns to let Cessie see all of her.

"That night had been a show, Kirk. Nothing more." The Lady says as she steps behind a screen to dress. Of course, the light behind it provides a lovely silhouette on the paper of the screen. "Saw Feia and wanted to meet her at her own game. I don't own anyone, and I never will." She explains before giving a peek from behind the screen, smirking at Kirk. "I just wanted to piss her off. I still have that hat if you want it." She adds before going back to dressing. "I think it'd look dashing on you."

Defelent's eyes certainly linger on Dani, but they also linger on several other people around at the moment. I've got a predetermined maximum for Defelent, because I thought it would be a good idea. It might be a bit high, but until the bidding starts I don't know. It could be too low, especially given the people here.

To the very most observant, the smallest amount of tension that was barely perceivable to begin with has left him. "So I take it that you'll be running the auction tonight." He can tell Jezebel isn't the type to play second fiddle. Her title gave it away in any case.

"I don't think it'll be all that long, but I have no idea." Nadia shrugs and sips at her drink. "Try to be a little bit patient, for me." Nadia bumps her shoulders into Irena, smiling sweetly.
"I am. Going to be the first auctioned off as well." Jezebel says before stepping out. A black dress hugs her tall and curvy frame. "And I do hope you'll bid on me. If you excuse me though, I need to prepare an announcement and have the show start. I'm sure these ladies would appreciate your help." She says before trying to "squeeze" past Kirk, making sure to be more than a little too close before going past.

It may even go so far as to imply that this being must be appealed to have success, that otherwise in a given endeavor, you are helpless."

"Much of what I object to is inherent to worship, no matter how much you try to ground yourself." Grace says with a sigh. "Being more grounded will reduce some of those effects, but it won't do away with them. As for what I would do, if I found myself in your situation... I'd look for alternatives. The universe is vast, and worship seems like a peculiar thing as a requirement for life. Do you really need worship? Or is it a less complicated need, that could be fulfilled in another way? Can you find a way to change that aspect of your nature, or generate 'worship' from something non-sentient?"
Grace shakes her head. "There are so many powers and things out there, or even just in Nexus, that I cannot truly believe that you must, inevitably, subsist on worship. I can believe that there is a possibility that such a thing might be complicated, or rare- but I would try. If only from a selfish perspective, ridding yourself of such a limitation would be a good thing, as it would eliminate a way you might perish."
Dionysius sighs, slumped slightly in his seat. With a lightning fast gesture he tilts back his head and pours the rest of the nearly full champagne glass down his throat.
"We all have a brash youth, even and especially gods. In our infancy, we needed naught but acknowledgement, the same as any other sentient creature. After we learned to claim lands and peoples under our power, that power swelled and sustained us, and we became more concepts than phyical beings. With so much power flooding our veins, living without becomes nearly impossible, and those few that are forced to try descend into a state of a disproven ideal, scorned as falsehood and proof of the idiocy of past generations."
The god shrugs, and relaxes back into his chair, "Perhaps, with your upcoming study of magic, you could reveal a supplement of some sort that has not been found by my lazy brethren. Somehow, I doubt that most would take such a substance, even if it was offered." The sad truth, he's afraid. The gods he knew were far too content with the status quo.
Bar - Icarus
"Well, this is your first big function. You're over here alone instead of wit someone else or mingling like ya should be." Vinny says, nodding towards the crowd. "Who knows, you might be able ta get a date."
"Somehow I doubt it." Finally getting around to his drink, Icarus sniffs at the shot of whiskey cautiously before -assuming it's either free of poison or any toxins within are hard to detect by scent- sipping at it.
Rather good. Certainly better than the disgusting highly violatile chemical-laced moonshine he normally drinks. In a second there's none left, Icarus grimacing a little as the drink hits him full force and wisely choosing not to go for a second shot. "Is the catering on the house, or do I owe you for the drink?"

Ilpholin's face screws up a bit though. "You've talked to..." Ilpholin trails and bites back whatever she was going to say.
"Hmmm. Afraid I don't know much about creating servants like that. Hope it goes well."
