Far to the west of Canterlot, further still even from Ponyville, a quiet little town is quickly springing up near a large lake.
This is Bridle Shores, situated along a large lake with a natural beach. Not far from town is Mt. Trotia, with a waterfall that feeds into the lake. The town is surrounded by a lush forest which the ponies of the town both use and nurture with delicate balance.
A small business district has started to grow, with a bakery, Dress Shop, Grill, Greenhouse, Dojo, Saw Mill, Snow cone stand, Dance Academy, and even a Soda Bar popping up for the citizens of the town.They are also experimenting with new technology such as Floppy Disk’s computer shack or the Doctor's friendship harnessing lab. In addition, there's a farm and a wizard's tower on the outskirts of the town.
Much of the forest is quiet and peaceful, but deeper within the forest lurks creatures far more dangerous…
Oh I am as real as you and your friends. It's just that I am real here and not in your world. Jormong took one last sip out of the bottle and then said. All tho the revolution if I am not mistaken has a very tiny thing of going in to your world... Small because we have yet to discover how to do this. Also. No. There is no secret agreement. Not any that I know of at least.
"Very tiny thing? Jormong, that isn't very reassuring. I can't be involved with something if it'll bring trouble to Equestria, so if you want my help on this, you should probably elaborate a bit more."

Well the higher ups have been experimenting with a few things one of which has been travelling between the dream world and your "real" world. I am personally hoping that they don't think on using these prototypes.

He closed his eyes and thought long and hard. If Jormong was telling the truth, then Equestria could be in serious trouble. He would be duty-bound to help him get this revolution of his off the ground.
On the other hoof, if he was lying? Well, he had explicitly told him the arrangements of the shared dream. Nightmares were liars by nature, but they had to tell the truth when it came to their contracts. Plus, if Jormong tried to cross him...well, Sandy still had a few tricks up his sleeve. He should be able to fight off a Nightmare or two.
He nodded resolutely. "Alright. I'll come with you. I still don't know if you're telling me the truth, but there isn't much harm in coming with you for now."

Wonderful! Jormong suddenly stood up on his back hooves and clapped his front ones. When by the time he had fallen down, half a dozen of his Nightmare subordinates had appeared out of nothingness. I like this pony so I want you all to escort him to the Jeeves dream. One of the Nightmares got a bit close and they whispered something. He then turned back to Sandy. We might meet at the dream later... Sandy.
Sandy had to confess later that the Nightmare had talked him into dropping his guard. If he had been ready, he would have been on his hooves and kicking everypony out of his mind before Jormong could have gotten a word in. He only managed to scramble upright before Jormong gave the order. Once he saw that these were his escorts and not his attackers, he relaxed...marginally. One or two Nightmares? No problem. A dozen or more jumping out of nowhere? Problem.
Celestia above I hope I'm not making a mistake here...
He let the Nightmares escort him out, pausing to say to Jormong, "Yeah, I suppose so. If your Moro friend knows so much, you might want to bring him along too."

Jormong exited the now crumbling dark room and wondered about Sandy... He knew that he wouldn't remember him tomorrow but He was still interested in the pony and the fact that he knew and hated Nightmares. He waved his hoof as if you clear the thoughts and wondered in to another dream.
(If it's alright, I'm just going to assume that I make it to the dream)
Sandy entered the tavern. He looked around, examining the patrons and the surroundings carefully. He didn't recognize everypony, but he did notice the two ponies from earlier in the evening. They were talking with a third pony that he couldn't quite place. Probably somepony from around town.
More importantly, he noticed a lack of Nightmares. Or, more accurately, a lack of Nightmares jumping him as soon as he entered the room. So far, so good. He hoped Jormong hadn't been lying to him. He really hoped Jormong hadn't been lying to him. He didn't know if he could take another assignment. Not now.
He sat down cautiously next to the others, not sure what would happen, and also not sure if any of the ponies here were actually real. Dreams and all that.

"Gear, you know you can get your own cup right?" Silverpine said in mock exasperation, before his stern expression melted into a grin. In truth, he was finding her foalish antic rather amusing.

Reginald the bartender then throws a Root Beer at Rodny. He then takes down the giant sword from its mantle and started to polish it.
Rodny looked at the bartender, polishing his sword, even tho he had no hands to do it with... The obvious intimidation attempt failed seeing as Rodny was leading the Royal Guards. He ignored the root bear which fell and broke.
No, no, no, no... I have seen you some where in... Centerlot? Rodny said to the newcomer pony. He then whispered back at Silverpine. Hey, that means she likes you enough to bother napping you.
"Oh! I'm sorry. Next time an immaterial thought pony waltzes into my head and offers to take me to somepony else's dream, I'll be sure to knock first and ask if I should come back another time." His voice drips with sarcasm, though there is a tinge of actual grumpiness there.

The bartender throws another Root Beer at Rodny, it bounces off the back of his head harmlessly and falls to the floor and breaks. His hands are no longer polishing a sword, he now had a minigun that fired Root Beers and he aimed it at Rodny. "Take a Root Beer, or get painfully knocked out cold."
"Why does everypony get asked permission first except me?" Silverpine muttered, a little annoyed.
"I'm sorry sweetstuff...that would be my fault...I wanted to have this weird dream adventure with somepony and I picked you," She went over behind him and hugged him from behind laying her head against the back of his neck. "So if you want to have somepony to be annoyed at, it should be me."
