Yeah, Ceres is huge and has a +10 bonus to hide, even after the penalty. Camouflage, I guess.

The plan might still work, the giants might still eat the bait, and some go chasing after invisible people that are fleeing. I say we wait in ambush around the corner :)

So, generally alter self says that you can take a form that is 1 size different from you... (smaller or larger).

It also has the restriction on 5 HD.

But then it also says you can "change" into yourself with changes.

Could I change into a Small Nimblewright or into a Large Nimblewright and if yes are there mechanical effects like on enlarge/reduce person?

No, you'd have to turn into a critter typical of the kind, and Nimblewrights are medium. You could turn into an animated object of a statue of a halfling, or an animated object of a statue of a troll, but then you get the animated object natural attacks, rather than your own...

Basically I am holding since I dont even know which dot I am in the map...

So I wanted to get out there and ready an attack but as I am not sure how much space there will be left and I dont plant to suffer all the giant attacks for now just hold :D

Lorelie is going to use inspire courage on my turn so every everyone receives +1 on attack and damage rolls, plus +1 against Charm and fear effects. If the giants are close enough Greg will throw his bottle of alchemist fire on the nearest one if the splash damage doesn't hurt any team mates.

As long as you haven't already gone, sure. We're doing a form of group initiative, so as long as you haven't already gone, you're good.

Apologies... tough and busy week...

Sorry but for my character with the low hp and no protector it makes little sense to charge forward and attack...

My haste and all that gives me more power when in direct melee to get the best of full attack...

So my delay and waiting is for the giants to approach so thats why I was holding/passing turn. If the giants dont approach he will just not act yet...

Seeing as the group's turn began 4 days ago, perhaps it would be best to move on? We'll never get anywhere if combat continues to take so long.

So, what happens if we get a natural 20 on a roll to confirm a crit? Do we roll again to confirm critical, or leave it?

Generally if we have many players I suggest going with group initiative.

It harms people (and monsters) with Improved initiative and high dex but at least you can say monsters go first, players second and work with that.

For example in another game we had rolled average player initiative vs monster initiative and then for the players whoever posted first, went first etc.

This way people dont need to delay and wait to see where they will positions themselves etc.
