Default One Sentence Plot Descriptions

I didn't see a game like this, so I figured I'd start it. It has a simple premise: Poster A gives a one sentence description of the plot to some or another work of fiction, to which Posters B and C guess at; A says that C is right, and then C starts the cycle over again. Extra points for brevity and non-literal-ness.

I'll start!

A short cab driver finds love and a heart in an enthralling jungle.

Ah, can only player C start the cycle over again, Mr. Blue?

Whoever gets it right, Mr. Pink. The jungle is Indian, and the cabby has "short" in his name.

"Fiction" seems to mean cinema here. Is that what we're doing? I just want to know, because last time I guessed a book.

This time I'll venture to guess The Bucket List. (I don't feel sure of this at all ... Although in the movie it was the kinder of the two men who started the list, it was the nasty one who pushed to set out to accomplish all the items.)

No, but I tried to start off with something that I thought a lot of people here would be familiar with. It can be anything. This game is actually, uh, borrowed from a game on another forum that's just opera.

I like this guess, but Nick wasn't hired by accident. If I recall he was transferred there (against his wishes, true, but that's not the same thing).

That is a good guess, but it's not quite right. I'll give a clue: The answer is not a film, though over the years the story has been made into several of them that I wouldn't expect anyone to remember. It is highfalutin, but not too obscure.
