Ongoing Games (In-Character)Play-by-post games are going on in this forum as we speak (well, read). All threads on this board are actual games, so please, only post on a thread if you are a player of that game.
Going to be spotty posting for a couple of days as I will not be near a computer til about Thursday the 17th. Sorry will resume normal posting after that.
Upon hearing that and feeling the heat, the coins restack... taking on a humanoid shape. The coin-being begins to hold up its hands in an attempt to look innocent while slowly backing away.

Seeing the coins act this way, Vitis lowers his cannon slightly. He then cast's Detect magic and focuses on the humanoid pile of coins through his monocle.
Spoiler
If I can do this for a minute, I get a free identify on the target (the humanoid coin thing).

You can tell that it is actually a human... more specifically a swarmshifter.

Vitis regards the pile of coins with a hint of confusion, but mostly curiosity. "Huh, it's people." He then gives it a burst of healing. " I don't suppose you're willing to talk to us?"

The stone casts message to anyone on the ground, not paying attention.
"Gebronis, if you can't hear the loud flap of it's wings, a dragon is coming. The Stone suggests you get your **** together, stop messing with the candy ass animated coins, and get ready for a breath weapon. Spread out!"

The coins condense into the form of a human... 6ft tall, blonde hair, blue eyes... He stands there unamused Giants... you never try to be stealthy do you? I was going to let the dragon collect me up and then once it was a sleep... WHAM!

in giantish Stealth is highly over-rated. Now, if you want a cut of the treasure once we deal with the dragon, I suggest you get ready to do your part.

You! Pile of coins! What are you going to do to kill the dragon? crush it under your weight? pathetic!
He then pulls out alchemists fire made from his Fire Artisan ability. Passing them out to anyone with a melee weapon.
He also applys it to his body and falchion.
Once applied, the fire lasts for 27 rounds. Anyone hit takes 14d6 damage that round and another 14d6 every round from then on unless they make a DC 37 reflex save or spend a full-round action to put the fire out.
Fire Artisan:At 2nd level, the Fire Giant develops a natural knack on how to develop volatile substances to set things on fire. Once per day, with one hour of work and mundane materials at hand (no pratical cost), it may craft a number of Alchemist's fire equal to his Con modifier x HD. Those alchemist's fire become useless in 24 hours due to their cheap nature, unless the Fire Giant is willing to spend 25 GP per flask for higher quality materials, in wich case they're permanent. They deal 1d6 fire damage for every 2 HD of the giant (both on the first and second turn), plus 1 fire damage per 2 HD as splash damage, and the save DC is 10+1/2HD+Con modifier.
Instead of throwing them at an oponent, the Fire Giant may splash them over a metal/rock weapon he wields as a move action. In that case the weapon is wreathed in flames, dealing an extra 1d6 fire damage per hit for every 2HD. The flames on the weapon last 1 round per HD, and oponents struck by it catch fire as if hit by an Alchemist's fire crafted by the giant (only one round of burning).
Oponents who caught fire and are trying to use a spell/SLA power must suceed on a Concentration check with DC 15+Damage dealt by the burning to suceed.
At 8 HD the fire from these abilities keeps burning indefenetely untill they're put out as a fullround action and a sucessful reflex save.

Shiver and Shake stay well clear of the alchemist fire and any weapon that is covered in it. They prepare for the incoming ?dragon?

Melk will keep his sword drawn and ready himself to rage if the enemy uses a fire-related attack against him... Or if he is going to caught up in on of his ally's flame-based attacks.
You all have no clue who or what you're dealing with here do you?
I never claimed to coins, I'm just a clown in the game of swords. Maybe I'll spend a few bits of you when we get past all of this.

He looks at you... Ha ha, it's good to see that you have a sense of humor. He then cracks EVERY joint in his body By the way, name's John. Would any of you mind if I brightened it up in here?
There is another loud explosion from deeper in the cave, this time closer.

"Hmm, never fought a dragon before. Are the colored ones supposed to be the good ones or the evil ones? Either way, this should be an enlightening experience."
The ones that look like metals are the good ones... the rest as far as I'm concerned are evil. He then takes an everburning torch out of his bag. My word... you're even uglier than you sound, except for you two. He points at Shiver and Shake.

Shiver and Shake do not break their concentration on whatever might be incoming, but both of them pose just a little.
The rest of you could learn something from him. He obviously has great taste.

"In that sense of the word, for a human, yes, but judging by his smell, his actual sense of taste is rather lacking. If he ends up traveling with us, I'd advise he never cooks."
Responds Vitis, Turning invisible and getting ready for the dragon.

Confused by what's taking the dragon so long, the stone flies into range of john and uses his gem of true seeing to see if he is actually a human, or if a dragon is messing with them. He remains invisible.
Edit: nix that. The range of the gem is 120ft and you said the ceiling was only 100 ft. The stone hardly needs to move.

John is definitely a human...
Another explosion comes from deeper in the cave.
