So I'm preparing a treaty, that will be very lucrative to all participants and it will satisfy your wants - ease you from your reliance on fossil fuels and lead to growth of high-tech industries. Naturally, since this is turn 1 I don't have anything yet. So I would propose we sign some fluff treaty, that doesn't mean anything now and next turn I approach you and give you full details on the treaty, that would be most profitable to you.

This investment is well within our capacities and we would be interested in developing the computer architecture capable of self modification. While we work on the different parts of the project we have to ensure that our pieces remain compatible with each other.
Also how do you suggest integrating the North American Hegemony in our project? As we mentioned they could provide valuable insight with their experience. I would suggest not to burden them with a specific task, instead let them provide the basic reference work. Alternatively they could provide some mental templates for our work.
OOC: If we focus to much on our own subprojects, it could lead to a situation were overly detailed plans and projects result in failure. I suggest that we include this joint project into our EoTs and simply mention there were our specific focus lies.

Morgan: ”Thank you for coming. Equally shared control over the combined operations is in our interest too. Who do you have in mind for this third party consulting firm?
Now to the mining and research cooperation. Based on our previous negotiations, we prepared a contract. If you find him agreeable, we can both sign it.”
The contract declares in a great number of paragraphs that Technorapture and UHI agree to cooperate as equal partners in establishing new mines and sale of raw materials, as well as cooperation in R&D.
After both signed the prepared electronic forms, Morgan moves
“With this contract signed, I can inform you about our current industrial and research projects. First, we were contacted by the Southern Federation. They wish to purchase raw materials from us to build their first space station. We further offered them to hire our orbital construction crews to build the station to their specifications. We received a similar request from GB. They asked for our technical advice in building a magnetic launch system and they also hinted that they wish to construct an associated space station. A third project only concerns our solar power collectors and don’t directly affects our other operations.
Our R&D department currently cooperates with several other groups in developing new AIs. We plan to use them to increase the efficiency of our mining operations and manufacturing complexes.
Our next big project will be the development of working nanites of both the assembler and disassemble variant. These too are expected to significantly increase our industrial output.”

They're not a major player on the level of UHI or Technorapture, but they've several past successes at streamlining operations and fiscal monitoring to their names.
"Regarding the contract, we will, of course, have our lawyers look over it as a routine measure, but we see no reason why we cannot continue negotiations and sign it once they finish." The electronic copy given to him is sent back to Euterpe Station, and once vetted and returned, he agrees to sign it.
With the contracts signed and the true business beginning, he leans forward, fingers steepled. "We do have significant expertise in manufacturing; it was our original business here in space, and it remains the cornerstone of our efforts. Naturally, with these contracts, we'd be willing to offer you our expertise as well in order to make sure the customers remain satisfied and, more importantly, willing to pay for further business. Unfortunately, our R&D is occasionally somewhat lacking; we make up for a lack of resources by focusing our commitments to limited areas. We see a great deal of promise in the second project you mentioned to develop practical nanites, especially for our particular economic areas of influence. Given that you mentioned that you have already entered a partnership with other spacefaring polities for AI development, I believe that our greatest mutual benefit may come from pursuing this jointly, ahead of them. If we can introduce these to our own businesses in advance, it can help us significantly. If nothing else, we can at least use our head-start to lay a foundation on which we can build a fine edifice."

Ladies and Gentlemen, The first event of the evening is a mock combat between two of our fine Squads for hire. In their colors of Grey and Red, The Fists of Sheogorath are both warriors and artists. In the art of combat, each one has mastered several martial arts, Most archaic weaponry and can use a sonic peacekeepers rifle with snipers persion. The opposing Squad are the Beakons of Meridia. In order to join, each member must have at least two medical degreess. Sworn never to kill and uphold the peace, They are ideal peacekeepers.
The east wall slides down, revealing a large stadium. In the Stadium, two groups of ten check their weapons. Ladies and gentlemen, let the demonstration begin. To our valued guests, all weapons used are nonlethal and will result in no serious injury.
As he finishes, Both groups launch into battle. Both sides are skilled, and it ends, nearly 45 minutes later, in a stalemate.
Well that was a good demonstration, and lets give them some time to set the next one up.

Please turn your eyes to the stadium once agian, we have the next event set up. This features of Hippo-Sonic Tank, which is currently in the prototype stage.
You see a large tank in the stadium, along with a verythick wall and groups of smaller targets.
The Primary weapon of the Hippo-Sonic Tank is a 3000 Psi Sonic shockwave condenced to a two mile long, three foot in diameter Clinder. The wall out in the stadium as you can see is nearly 20ft thick. What you can't see is that it's renforced with industrial grade Diamond filliments. Fire at will.
The Glass shudders a lot, and you all feel a rining in your ears, but when you look, a large portion of the wall is cut away.
It's secondary defences are four Sonic Rams. Each one has a 90 degree feild of fire, and while they only have a effective PSI/second of 250, they do have a range of 600 meters. Activate the Rams.
As a wall of infa sound hit's them, the remaining targets are blasted back.
And that conculdes your second event, and the war meterials portion of our showcase.

A quiet question from the Hypereux rep to the nearest Grim technician:
"Have you considered the applications of the sonic ram in information dispersal, out of curoisity? If you could modulate the sound in such a way as to carry a coherent voice, I'd imagine that you could use a similar device to broadcast an audible message to a very large area."
We can easily adapt it to do that. But we genraly operate under the assumption that there is communication systems in place, and the Tanks have to be pressure and sound proofed or the proximity to the noise would also affect them. In fact, we have a model that we made a few years ago that said "Get of my Lawn you Whipersnapers!", it was a, amusing contract.
Event Three
Thank you for your patience. The next Two items are still in the deveopmental stages, but we hope that they can become regular features in hospitials around the world in a matter of years.
The First item is the Classic Bacta Tank. This is a multi-purpose Tank that puts it's occupent into a state of near statis, allowing the body to heal easier. The Bacta itself is a type of Genticaly Adptive bactria that acts to stimulate your bodies healing functions, allowing for vastly improved recovry rates. With the right types of Bacta, sensitive nerve damage can also be repiared.
The Second item is as more of a substiute for junk food. The Grim's Food bar is a highly nutrious barthat that comes in a wide verity of flavors. It has all the calories and filling abillity of a meal, so it can help cut down on obesity.

You empaths are lucky. My people approched yours becuse we can't do psionic experintation on ourselves. You see, a grim that uses psionics only has a few seconds at most, before they become the mental equilvent of a black hole. For us, to use psionics is a fate worse then death. What is it like, a gift that won't kill you?

Ladies and Gentlemen, as you are aware, the Grim make extensive use of grafting, and how do we get the Tissue's, muscles and organs to be Grafted? Easy! We grow them in special tanks. Now, if you or your citizens need a transplant, but there's none avilable? We can grow them that organ. Need asoldier who is pyshicaly stronger and has faster reaction times? We can graft the right combenations of tissues onto him. With these, your people will never die becuse they couldn't aquire a transplant in time.

The Technorapture representative, a petit and young looking woman, has so far shown little reaction during the events but is making constant notes. During a break she approaches the presenter to ask him some questions.
“Your sonic projection technologies are interesting. What I would like to know is have you considered its potential as a low lethality weapon for riot suppression or its use as a mining tool?
The medical technologies you presented to us during events three and five also look promising. They could help us in combating both amyotrophia and bone atrophy. However I would like to know why you limit your medical application to organic grafts. You obviously have the technology for successful gene therapy. It might take a little longer to achieve the desired effect, but is less stressful for the patient and has lower chances for autoimmune reactions.”

We do have gene therapy avilable, and we use it quite extensivly. In fact, the Grafts come with auto-Adapt genes for immune systems. But, we also only do Gene-Splicing and gentic agumentation after a period of investigation and risk/benift anysis. We're still paying for a mistake we made decades ago. As for the sonic non-leathal weapons, the Beakons of Meridia use suppression sonic rifles. We've also been using sonics as a mining technology for Decades. The tank is ment to double as a Mining tool.
