Explain for someone who doesn't know the U.S. educational system.
It's not just an American thing. I know we have them in Australia because my brother got in when he was going to university.
Basically, it's a list of the best students of the prearranged period of time.

I'm pretty sure that's the official name for fencing where you're not allowed to move off a strip of cloth. Why they don't just call it line fencing, I don't know.

What? Gnomes always have long, grey beards, if they have any at all. Dwarves have brown or red beards, and always have beer. Very dissimilar. Speciesist.
(I think Terrence was a gnome. Him and that gnomish looking girl, with the cart and the funny looking donkey-horse)
