Well. That's not good. It looks like my prediction of someone dying by the end of this arc will come true after all. Somehow, though, I can't imagine that Miles is out of tricks just yet. With his paranoia, I could see him having a "Last Resort" kind of backup plan put together, even if that plan involves taking the noose so that Lexi won't die as well.
Also, now you can be confident that at least one person out there noticed the spilling inkpot. It's nice to see those kinds of details put in.

Obviously. Because if he doesn't then that thread of the plot won't be resolved, and we'll have to write Coffee polite letters such that she produces a sequel.
And there is never any guarantee that a sequel will be any good.
(Though, I have great confidence in Coffee's ability to produce one of an equivalent standard.)

Ah Miles. Shoulda teleported when he was disintegrating the sphere. Don't stay around to bandy words. Rookie mistake.
It took me a couple tries to get the title. Nice allusion, Cof.
He was out of Teleport Spells and needed to return to his study to get a scroll. In the time it would have taken for him to open his draw and get the scroll, he would have been within melee range of Rust.
And yeah, if you think his room was booby trapped, you should see what the rooms of famous abjurers look like.

Indeed... someone's got a quote from the Tippy about that, but I can't find it.

I cannot tell you the number of times I laughed while reading this.
I wonder if Rust can measure up to our earthly rulers, though. I just listened to a podcast about Constantine the Great. He killed his father-in-law, three brothers-in-laws, his son and his wife.

I never knew that.
That is minorly disturbing... but I think Rust can beat it.

Finally took the time to actually read through the entire Murphy's Law archive, and not skim through the beginning then skip to the Traxis arc (the Rogue's Creed title caught my eye), then skip to the more current ones with having any idea who this hooded mage was.
And now that I'm caught up you can expect some fanart coming.

Sorry guys, I need to catch up in my organic chem and animal physiology textbooks; I'm about half a chapter behind where I should be. I'll work on the comic tonight and tomorrow night; hopefully it'll be up Monday night.

We totally understand, Coffee.

Oh, all from the same game? That's easy! Luke, Tear, Jade, Guy, Anise, and Natalia! I love that game and this is awesome! Thanks!
Just asking, what other games do you play, other than tales and DnD. I am only familiar with JRPG style flash games (including Mardek RPG series), Skyrim (the only WRPG I've played), TF2, and minecraft.

Tales of the Abyss. Absolutely no relation to my Natalia Bolts at all. This Natalia's a princess.
Question, what does Janine's Nightmare do? Is it like Jigglypuff's singing?

Outside of battle, it puts people/no-named NPCs to sleep. In battle, it's a basic spell of the darkness element that does damage. The incantation is part of a song.

So its exactly like Jigglypuff, if it didn't put Ash to sleep.
Crap guys. I just got nostalgia bombed really hard. I miss Banjo...

Oh, wow. You just got me to listen to nearly the entire Banjo-Tooie soundtrack. Even though I didn't start playing it until my early adolescence, it's still giving me a pretty strong nostalgia dose.
