Due to the events of the previous episode, I'm going to play the shards of memory thing as such:
a) If Nova fails the roll vs. shock, she'll go through whatever mental stuff happens, and spend most of the rest of the adventure in a kind of paranoid state as she tries to keep control of herself.
b) If she fails horribly (something like 4+ degrees of failure), she'll be quite schizophrenic for the rest of the adventure as the Nova and Aevon personalities clash (also means her Hatred malignancy should kick in a bit; so far it's been low key with no good reason to hit it up yet).
c) If she passes, Aevon takes over (basically, 'Nova' gets shocked all to hell by repressed memories coming out, and the Aevon personality behind said memories smoothly goes from co-pilot to solo flyer for a while. Hilarity ensues).
Willpower vs. Shock: (1d100)[27] vs. 40 (base willpower only, no talent or trait bonuses allowed)
If she fails:
Shock table roll: (1d100)[67] +10 per degree of failure on the Willpower test.
EDIT: Aaaaand Hilarity Ensues.

Sorry for the delay, all - tonight was my dad's birthday party, I've only just got back. NPC responses will be up tomorrow, although it looks like Rizhail's post is a prompt for short-term actions from the rest of you as well.
Okay, I don't know whether I'm going stupid or paranoid but I feel fairly certain that at some point there was an actual map of the area after Etcetera said Jericus was pulling it up on the dataslate. I didn't even want to see it that much but I noticed that it didn't seem to be there any more and I've spent five or ten minutes flicking between the two threads and checking the past few pages of posts and I don't know what to believe did I dream it all are you people EVEN REAL
Pinpointing the fact that it will dissapoint more than just Gideon Kastor and his poor beleagured adept if Norton doesn't come along, as well as making the case for Kastor being friendly and not likely to shoot him if he does in one go? Hardly unintentional, I should think.
No, putting a (definite) article in front of the word Madame. As in a Madam. As in a brothel-keeper. Otherwise it's like saying "the Mr" or "the Mrs".
My intention was to use it as a sort of title. She's a noble, and all that. I forgot her actual title, though. I can edit once I find it, if that works better.
Sorry guys, there's going to be a double delay - I had a huge update to write for my WFRP game, and tomorrow I have to present some of my work at the morning group meeting, so it's not a good idea for me to keep on writing into the early hours. There will be an update tomorrow, I promise!
so, I'm going to attempt a knockdown, which means I need a couple rolls. It's an opposed test, so to save time I'll stick the representative's in here too.
(1d100)[29] for Tychon, vs 42 (1d100)[93] for Brass-hands, vs ??
Tychon very likely wins handily, which means the Representative is ending up on the floor and will need to take a move action to get up.
That sounds alright to me, except for that last bit. I want to see what the gear-looking thing there is, and would prefer to go through that way instead of through the Room of Suspiciously Poor Sight Lines with all the circle things.
