alright. Seems I need an awareness test, then. (1d100)[56 ] vs 19. 3 degrees of failure, but the Lictor failed worse. Must be all Thrax's blood. I think Tychon can see it, then?

No, the Lictor failed by 5, as in 5 percentage points - its effective Concealment skill is 80. It failed by 0 degrees; you'd have to roll a 23 or lower. EDIT: Sorry, forgetting size again (I'm bad at this): it failed by 25 . So you were only 12 off.

I don't think Tauron's sardonic enough to be Ted. Although I'm sure he sees servants of the Omnissiah as the dimwitted manchildren.
But at least he can describe
the Lictor properly for their debriefing.
