Random.org really hates you guys. I don't think I've ever seen so many consecutive rolls in the 2X range before.
Spoiler
If you're wondering, KO is how I denote a first death. If it's any condolences, he'll be back for Map #2.
Random tactical note:
I think that you guys could have avoided the death either by moving Lloyd to A14 (instead of B14) so that he couldn't get attacked by both archers or by having Nina kill Mercenary #2 and then having Lloyd run past her to safety. Then again, the way rolls came out, Nina probably would have died instead.

A14 is where I wanted him to go, but I either mis-read the map, or mis typed the letter.
Clearly I need better fingers.
Okay now to be extra sure everyone goes to the right squares.
Roland moves to J4 and attacks the Boss if he wants the xp.
Nina moves to E9 and attacks Mercernary 3. (The Merc cannot counter-attack)
When I saw Ivelln's plan I had also thought that Lloyd was moving to A14 as well. My rage at this turn of events cannot be adequately expressed. Guess I'll just have to be more obsessively careful for the next batch of plans.
Edit: no comment on the plan now that we can finish this map, so go with it.
Well, you could have insisted on going to see the lord or have just left asap. Those were the three scenarios that I was expecting and had planned maps around.
Edit: I could probably have the map up a little sooner, but I expect people are somewhat occupied with exams/etc, which is totally not an excuse for my playing diablo 3's open weekend beta all weekend.
it's not really an open beta so much as it is a free trial version. I'm less than impressed, the game feels dated already, but wasn't going to buy anyhow. Heart of the Swarm, however, will make me buy new pants.
This took forever to actually move from paper to the computer.
The guys are going to be starting in the upper-left room of the 2nd floor (top right map) and the gals (okay... just Imeena) in the bottom left room. Aramel's gonna start in the center of the library (just pretend those doors are bookcases, okay? :X). I'll have the actual maps up later today, as soon as I grab a stock sprite for WhamBamSam.
Otherwise, doors on this map don't need you to be a thief or have a door key to open.
Edit: Oh yeah, I'm using the 'nearest-neighbor' option now. Is the image quality any better?

Acanous
I'm pretty excited about D3. I've preordered it and am picking it up right when it comes out. It's pretty much D2, except in 3d, and all the UI changes are all essentially upgrades on the D2 one. The social bits are terrible (BNet 2.0, why!?) but I have enough people that I know who're picking it up that it's not the biggest deterrant.
On the other hand, I might not even pick up HotS. I don't even ever open SC2 anymore. It doesn't really help that they're doing balance-over-3-games and that grinding 1v1s on BNet is like... the loneliest experience in the world. I mean, at least I could talk to people between games on ICCup ._.
In case someone's worried about my having placed everyone this map, it's because it's pretty obvious where everyone should go (any other configuration is obviously sub-optimal; you could argue that Roland/Callum should be switched, but eh...) and I didn't want to wait for people to tell me where they wanted to start.
Whoo! I get to be recruited now. Is there any particular storyline reason for Wotan to be in this church? I'm guessing he was hired as protection or something, but I thought I'd ask.
