Grazik will be in the back, unless someone else wants to in which case he'll be second from the back.

Kusque will guard the left flank, or go in the front if nobody else wants that.

If it comes to combat, Gell's going to be running back and forth. As far as our order, if we're going in at full strength, I'd think we would go horizontal line, not marching line.

WE don't want combat, we are on mounts, we can quickly change our position if need be.

Hey DM, can you just plonk everyone down on a map and ask them if they're fine where they are? Nobody seems to have any strong views on marching order, or even marching form.

Everyone that said where they are will be there, everyone else will just be wherever. I don't think it really matters. DM, I think we're waiting for use to reach the camp.

Map will come today. Sorry for the delay. As I didn't expect you to brazenly walk into the logging camp I'll have to make sure to have the appropriate amount of stereotypes present.

So... what were you expecting us to do? Can't you adapt the work you did for that into what we're doing now?

That actually wasn't the problem.

I had started the map but the stopped due to several factors.
Factor one was, that this week was the first week of the semester, which led to some stress. Factor two was outright laziness and indecision.
Factor three though was the big one as I have been developing a case of PVC of the suction type. It happens every day several times a day for up to 30 minutes at a time with a regularity of 5-10 beats between instances. As such I have tried to get my mind off it as much as possible (as it seems to happen less if I don't think about it) and so I haven't been making the map and planning a lot as that kind of slow and usually relaxing work makes it all the more apparent when it happens.

Between this and the afforementioned laziness i couldn't bring myself to do it.
Don't woory about me just stopping the game with no notice, won't happen.
Though if my laziness (which I have been trying to stamp out in the last two months with a regular sleep-wake cycle and regular exercise) acts up again and I don't post for several days, send me a pm to kick my butt into gear.

In that reagrd, thanks Sutremaine.

I'm not really sure, but rweird, wouldn't that break our mind connection? Didn't we agreed to approach humans together, just let Kusque do all the talking?

No, we have about 100 ft, your at the edge of the light, we're about 30 ft. away, if we aren't now, we can move though I think we'd still be within 100 ft. of the camp from where we are now.

So doing something that takes your mind off it makes it more noticeable when it does pop up? Tough break.

@ Sutremaine
Before I assume anything I'm going to ask where Kusque is on the map when he starts speaking as different actions will happen depending on that.

About where he is now. The map doesn't really show degrees of lighting, but I'm aiming to be just about visible. I'm still trying to not move any closer to that southernmost sentry.

Ooh, cryptic...

By the way, I think I need to change my sheet. I thought Martial Study granted any manoeuvre (it says you learn one manoeuvre. The blurb for each school talk about manoeuvres but doesn't list any manoeuvres, only strikes, boosts, counters, and stances), but I just noticed there's another feat specifically for stances. Martial Study would have to exclude stances for the other feat to be useful.

The non-stance options are a light-based one that's DC9 if I can use it all, and two fire-based ones. They're not like chucking a fireball, but you did mention being careful with fire skills in your initial post, so I thought I'd ask before going with the useful options.

Can you tell me what maneuvers that are by name?

Also, sorry for not updating, but as the coming interactions are deeper than so far I want them to be good.
Sadly I haven't been able to actually concentrate on writing up anything and laying out conversation trees as for the last two days food decided it doesn't like my body and comes back out through the entrance about 30 minutes after going in. Coupled with some serious Stomach pains/cramps I've been dividing most of my time between bed and bath trying to ride this out.
It seems to get better now (I managed to get some warm milk with honey to stay down) but it still hurts.
So that is something else I'll be able to tell the doctor tomorrow besides the heart thing...joy.

Blistering Flourish, Burning Blade, and Distracting Ember are all on page 52. Flame's Blessing, the stance, is on page 53. There is another boost, Wind Stride, on page 56, but that one doesn't do anything as long as I have the enhancement-bonus boots.

Don't worry about doing any major posting until you feel better.

Blistering Flourish: Nothing against it.
Burning Blade: A bit iffy, but since you were trained well and its target based, you can probably take it. Though some tribesmen may still look at it a bit weirded out.
Distracting Ember: Since I generall go with "Fire elementals set fire to anything they move over" (induced by too much gamers-haven actual play) this one is a no.

Flames Blessing: Since it just gives you resistance to it its fine. It would also mean that at least your comrades know that you have enough respect and power of the fire you posess that taking burning blade is less strange to them.

Wind stride: The bad luck of named bonuses. Nothing against it.

Cool, thanks. It's just one of those unless I take another feat or a level of Swordsage.

If the stance is okay to take I'll think about keeping it. Burning Blade and Flame's Blessing are both really tempting options.

There's a post up, but due to server weirdness it doesn't show up when I click the 'IC games' forum. Do you get a subscription notification? Where is the 'subscribe to thread' option, anyway?

Instead of going away, the sickness actually got worse last night, so I'm still recovering a bit before posting.

There is something strange that doesn't show posts that starts new page and those after them unless you post, I had this in this thread and had to write completely in the dark.
