Re: Light, Shadow, and Legend: A Pokemon Ruby Nuzlocke
I just got Black 2, started it yesterday, Nuzlocke, haven't beaten the first gym, and I already have a casualty. >_< (I wasn't expecting Pidove to come at me with Gust. "Most birds start with Tackle, so it should start with tackle! Kill it, Sewaddle!")
On the other hand, I caught a Riolu in the next route. With a 5% chance. Can't complain.

Nice, I got my fifth gym badge and have had four deaths.

I haven't done much grinding, to be honest. They kind of fixed it so grinding is harder than it should be. But I switched in Zubat to save Riolu, which is now Lucario, from a Timburr. I wasn't expecting a critical hit Rock Throw. (Why? Why does it know Rock Throw?!)
Besides, Shiny is doing her job to curbstomp all those silly little Sewaddles.

Updates to all LPs comming by the end of the week. In the meantime, I need help on a personal call: Snivy or Oshawatt? I'd be more partial to Snivy, except for a personality that has been running around in my mind:
Oshawatt: Ocelot; This is the finest shell in the world; the Ponyta Single Swipe Army. Five blades, more than enough to stop anything that moves.

Well due to it's nature, mine relied on it's attack stat in a party with a high concentration of physical sweepers, so unless I really needed the type advantage I usually had stronger, faster options.

Ah, In my white team, my final team ended up being, Samurott, Scratfy, Renuiclus, Emloga/Zekrom, Chandelure, something.
Seen it before. In fact, I was showing "Re: Vos Cerveaux" in my French class yesterday.

I'm with Xondoure on this one, Steam hasn't done much for me. I mean, she knows two water attacks. (Granted, one is Physical and one is Special, so both have their uses) Revenge is rarely useful, and X-Scissor is only marginally useful.
A bred one looks quite nice, though. Air Slash? Night Slash? Those are pretty nice egg moves. In fact, Steam is a female, so Zoroark may be a daddy.

I killed the stupid Scrafty! I wanted it so bad! Then Audino critikilled it! Accursed Audino!
Chandelure is the only thing that keeps me from losing to fighting Pokemon, and I have no measure against Water types and am about to face the last gym. I've been doing all the movies to stall for time. (And amass medals. Shiiiiny...) ('Cause Shiny, now Arcanine with Outrage and Flare Blitz, has a weakness, Krueger (Sandslash) has a weakness (and still doesn't have Earthquake), Steam is useless against them, Candelia has a weakness. Lucario doesn't have any Electric or Grass moves, and neither does my other Pokemon whom I have conveniently forgotten. The only Grass or Electric types I have are a Zebstrika (10 levels behind), my dead Sewaddle, and a Tangela (10 levels behind and I don't really like Tangrowth).

Maybe so, but you at least caught it in the first place. I had so many things die because of Pokemon I hated. (My Watchog with a speed-losing nature, that stupid Audino...)

I lost my watchog early switching it in to take an attack for another pokemon. The worst moment of a nuzlocke, that first death. Actually that's not true. The worst was catching a Scyther in HeartGold and getting him all the way through the game only to have him die to Gary's Machamp because his wing attack didn't quite OHKO and it knew rockslide.
