Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
If we're doing the Class/Book/Tier/Role/Notes tables, I could go through the materials I'm familiar with tomorrow (probably Pact Magic classes, DSP srd, Arcana Evolved, Advanced Player's Manual; maybe a couple Mythic Vistas), but that's about all I can say from firsthand experience/observation (unless we're also going PF, but just seems like too much).
@OP Do you have access to all the materials listed, or is finding someone who does going to be a part of the indexing?

I have access to them all with the exception of the Sovereign Stone Campaign Setting, which I believe contains about 6 base classes.

Would you mind removing the quote tags from the new list? If you quote a post with a quote in it, the quotes in the post aren't shown, to avoid a tunnel of quotes, meaning that people can't add on to your new, modified table, so they'd need to add them on manually.

Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
Okay.
Here's what I have at hand (except Testament, but I'm burning out).
I'm ignoring Paragon classes because they work more like Prestige classes, and rarely have any meaningfully distinguishing characteristics. If anyone feels they should be included, feel free to toss them in.
I included a couple class variants that have huge alterations of play performance (Psychic Ranger, Psionic Soul Weaver, maybe something else) and that have different names (which might *sound* like big changes, until they're examined.

Note that there's also an Exorcist: Power Class which is, as far as I can tell, a cleric which gets slightly fewer spells but has bonus turn attempts and nifty things it can do with those turn attempts.

The exorcist is included on the 1st page, which is the complete list. The one above still leaves out quite a bit.
Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
I browsed a couple other books to get through some more of the bigger chunks. I didn't realize how many Paladin-clones Arcanis had. A couple look kind of fun, though (Twilight Warrior especially)
Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
I personally really like Arcanis' Paladin clones. They're relatively high powered for melee and quite flavorful. Arcanis has a couple other classes from Campaign supplements, which I put below.

This is getting me to look at a lot of classes I wouldn't otherwise. The Yogi and the Swamplord are pretty cool.
And looking over the Blood Druid's summoning, that is crazy.

After leafing though Dragonmech and Chaos Mage, I think I'm going to avoid the weird systems until I have a chance to play with them. I'll look at the Mythic Vistas next.
Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
Most mythic vistas are done, except Medieval Player's Handbook and (should we include this?) Red Star. My next step is going to be to add the Legends & Lairs "Path of X" supplements, the WoW Campaign Setting for d20, and do Nyambe - African Adventures' alternative classes.
As for the yogi, I've actually played one - a yaksha elf yogi 3. It got slaughtered when the party attacked an aurak draconian way earlier when they were supposed to (they tried to immobilize it with web and then set the web on fire...but the aurak could teleport. 4 out of 6 of the players died, and that's because I was nice and didn't use my breath weapon at the end) but pre-death it was a very fun class to play.
EDIT: I can do Dragonmech. I've run two separate campaigns with it actually, and Chaos Mage is pretty easy: straight up Tier 1. It's ridiculously powerful.
Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
There's something weird going on with the tables' sort function. It looks like it's clustering our entries separately, probably due to spacing. Not anything to worry about now, but once this is done, it'd be really handy to be able to sort by Role and Tier.
Anyway, here are the MVs, before I have to step out into anything new:

I'm starting to wonder if there are any D&D writers who didn't sit down and say "let's write a class about social skills and give it a bunch of rubbish powers, but tag Leadership on, just to play it safe."
EDIT:
Missed Black Company. I'll get that, Thieves World and Masque of the Red Death next.

Yeah...whenever I got to one of those I called it a "Social/skillmonkey" role. I just...can't imagine why anyone thought a class thats main feature was leadership would help anyone...
In other news, I ran into a problem while Tiering the mech pilot. As a class by itself the mech pilot has next to no abilities...except for when he's in a mech, at which point he's like upper Tier 2. I think I'm going to go through and find WBL and an average mech that corresponds to that wealth, and assume that's the mech the mech pilot has....
EDIT: Not sure why the tables aren't letting us reorganize
EDIT #2: Put the above list onto the main table. Still need to do Warcraft, Thieve's World, Dragonstar, Dragonmech, Path of X, some Encyclopaedia Arcane classes, and Avalance Press ()...should Iron Heroes be included?
EDIT #3: put in some minor classes from random supplements. Discovered that the complete guide to wererats has some base classes....

Re: A Complete List of 3.5 Base Classes (over 400!), including 3rd party publishers
There are Magic of Arcanis's base classes.
AEG's Magic has a bunch of extra mages. Most are essentially Sorcerer/Wizard variants, but there are some neat things like a Monk-type with Strength-based spells.
I can get both of those. I'm starting to dig this Arcanis setting (never noticed it before).

I like the Flesh Mage too as a sort of buffer wizard, and the arcane monk is cool especially since it's actually balanced.
I found a few articles on the Lion's Den Press classes but no downloads
...not that I would ever use 4shared to download books because that would be unethical.
