Huh, that post never showed up in my subscribed threads window. I'm glad you said something, since I wouldn't have known otherwise.
I'll post my turn as soon as I can.
The forum was having difficulties when I posted it. I've noticed that it doesn't always update a lot of stuff when such things happen, so I'm not surprised that nobody noticed.
I take it that it's legitimate for a person who granted a potentially-turn-defining save to somebody else to roll that save for them? I know that the general rule is to let people do their own character, but in this case it's so much more convenient for Shadow Elf I thought it okay.

Same here, no update to the subscribed thread till Shadow Elf posted. NecroRebel's post was unread too.
Riley's flaws are showing in this fight. He's a bit short on leader tricks if he can't flank a target. Minor damage and heals is about all he has left.
Edit: A reminder, as a minor anyone can heal themselves or another in the Skald's Aura. They just need to be with 5 squares & line of sight of Riley. All 3 heals are still available.
What now? A 25 doesn't hit my will, much less the 20 that it is after War Wizardry. I assume you meant Riley?
Whoops. Yeah, I meant Riley.

Guh. Really hope Riley's 29 vs. Reflex hit, otherwise that's a full round of misses.
Nope, that's another round of near-hits. It may seem like it's hard to hit this thing, but really all you need to do is roll above a 10. That's average though, it's less for some people with higher bonuses.

Stupid dice roller, making me use the monsters action points. Harumph.

Seriously? Urgh.

I updated the IC but it's not showing the post. You can view it by posting a new reply. Hard to believe that everyone missed that round.

I've noticed that the first post of a new page is prone to not showing up if there was a forum error when it was posted. At least you didn't have any die rolls in that post, since you can't see the numbers in reply mode.
A hit, Huzzah! I'll update the monsters movement when I get to my laptop. Until then take note of the forced movement from Elises spell.

Assuming that Jarl's 34 vs. AC was a hit, what's our strongest remaining attack to best take advantage of the "roll twice" effect? I have a 2d10+2d8+mods radiant vs. Will that I can throw at it, or the 2d6+2d8+double mods radiant vs. Fort but that relies on guaranteeing it will move forward on its turn. Anyone else have something good left in your arsenal?
Um... Doesn't it say whenever an ally attacks UtE(Jarl's)NT rather than the next time? It's not like it's something we can expend, so just unload your best melee or ranged attacks against it, unless they're so weak that an AoE attack is better even with the accuracy boost and improved crit chance that double rolls grant.
My own ranged basic is a d8+13 cold and push 2 against fort. Since half my static modifiers only work on lightning or thunder attacks and Dragonfrost isn't one, it's somewhat underpowered comparatively. I just thought that having a decent ranged basic attack would be valuable. I might retrain it for Thunder Walk when we level due to the apparent low value of RBAs for me.

A resounding turn for Team PC with a grand total of 180 damage! The poor misunderstood aberration is now bloodied. And bloodied means recharge...

Attack vs Riley Will 31 (1d20+20)[37]
Attack vs Jarl Will 27 (1d20+20)[37]
Attack vs Elise Will 32 (1d20+20)[27]
Attack vs Flavius Will 31 (1d20+20)[36]
Hit: (4d8+16)[35] psychic damage and the target is Dazed (save ends)

Riley, Jarl, and Flavius take 37 psychic damage (reduced by 11) and are Dazed (save ends)
Dominate (Charm) vs Jarl Attack vs Will 27 (1d20+22)[37] Hit: Jarl is dominated (save ends)

Not sure if the domination is obvious to the characters or what skill to use to notice. Perception? Arcana? Insight? Heal? Rolling a few to avoid metagaming.
Okay, question: it's bloodied before it hits Jarl with that dominate attack, yes? So I should be able to grant him a free MBA per Caiphon's Intercession pact boon. I probably should've said that in my IC post, but I wasn't sure if we were going to bloody it this turn. Can we still do that? If not, Riley could always make the attack instead.
Also, unless someone is planning to push this thing backward (and therefore bring the double-damage from Dire Radiance into play), I'm going to teleport over to the north side of it and start engaging it in melee.
