In this thread, we discuss the happenings in the webcomic Ménage à 3 (first page here). Currently, the hopeless geek has two girls lusting for him while the busty french girl can't get laid to save her life. We also have a guy who can wear sunglasses indoors and not be a total douche bag. Subverting genre expectations since 2008!
I'm intrigued by this last page. It contains many hints and nuances.
For one, I hadn't earlier understood that Yuki and Zii used to be in the same band, though I guess it could have been stated somewhere. In any case, the drumsticks she carries should probably have tipped me off.
Zii implies that Yuki's freak-outs ruined her music career. Even if I don't out it past Zii to have nude dudes lounging around, Yuki has proven to be difficult and unreasonable towards fully clothed men as well, even if she doesn't punch them in the family jewels.
More interestingly, look at Zii's expression in the third panel. She looks pretty uncomfortable there. Her phrasing is much... I'd call it heavier than usual, too. I think this might be the first time we've seen her expressing dissatisfaction with her job of getting "ogled by geeks," as she puts it. My first impression tells me that her band breaking up left her high and dry, and the only thing she knew besides playing was being sexy, so that's what she did. Kind of a hit to the ego, there.

The random background generator is awesome. I got a NG dwarven magus who was involved in a "pleasure" scandal with some arcane experiment backfire as well. My imagination is running off with that.
I'm seeing DiDi's face as "Blocked. Again. Damnit."
So a bit of role-reversal. Everyone is chasing Gary, and DiDi is being left out of all the fun. Possibly the first time in her life since she grew her... grew. (Let's not tempt the mods!)

Now, I don't know if they'll play it straight or subvert it, but I'm currently feeling that the comic is going towards DiDi's problem being due to not being able to get laid, which is... not actually her problem. She's perfectly capable of snaring her prey. She just doesn't know how to flay it so it becomes a juicy steak (this analogy derailed so fast).
I'd think slightly less of Giz and Dave if DiDi completes her quest without learning something from it. See previous posts why I think Matt would be a great teacher in this regard.

The problem with the more recent editions of D&D is that at some point the term 'player empowerment' was twisted to mean 'player entitlement.'

I believe the concern here is that if Gary is half as accomplished as we're hearing, he should be used to nude model drawing by now. I mean it's possible he just never did much of it but by the time you've done it even a little of it, your mind just kind of goes into a different mental state.
Of course I think it's a bit excusable considering the context is a bit unusual. Dude's been lusting after her since day one after all.
