Too bad it had to get the switch during guest week. It would have been nice to start things off with discussing the actual storyline. Hey, wait a minute, how long has it been since we saw angus?

I really liked the last strips occurring at the Coffee of Doom.

It truly felt the good old classic QC. Witty and grounded.

I like how QC can change stuff and then go back and show us that it still really sticks to its basics too.

It looks like Dora's landed a good way of avoiding having to babysit the girl ever again. I wonder if she could use Faye somehow to get out of jury duty.

Hm... I guess the arc was a bit point...poor but Faye's babysitting method seems legit.

So... is Dora that much of an control freak or can't she handle rejection... even if it was mutual?

She has serious self esteem issues that she compensates for by trying to control everything around her. Anything that is even a tertiary rejection of her in some way is enough to trigger her self doubt which makes her upset, which makes her lash out. Take way back when marten got his hair cut and she got upset. She basically took the fact that he didnt ask her about it first as a statement that her opinion isnt wanted and so she lashed out and got upset. Any unexpected event that could be taken as a rejection of her, or otherwise implies that she isnt important gets that reaction.

As for this comic, I admit to being disturbed. Also, did Winslow get upgraded to a tablet or something? He seems bigger.

I actually thought he'd gotten smaller for a little bit. I guess it has to do with him now being moreso compared to the size of Momo's torso rather than anyone else's.

The tiny hats are obviously the propagation method for Station, who infects and takes over all AIs who wear them. They use pheromone generators to command humanoids to place them on AIs. The reason Marten wearing the tiny hat didn't evoke any sort of reaction is because the propagation didn't activate.
