I did. In fact, I was just wondering to myself what you were up to a couple of days ago. Welcome back.
Are there any science fiction books you might recommend to me? I'm sadly unfamiliar with that particular genre besides some of the more famous authors and titles (H.G. Wells, Dune, and a few dystopian classics come to mind).
The Wild Cards series isn't bad but I'm unsure it's still in print. Anything by John Shirley although much of his stuff could more appropriately be called weird fiction.
tpbm can help better I haven't read much modern scifi
Ender's Game is a good choice, as is its sequels. Orson Scott Card is the author.

Have you got any advice concerning nightmares? A friend of mine suffers from them, and I don't know how to help him out.
@V Well, his nightmares are connected to his deep-seated emotional issues which are difficult to combat. But I would like to enable him to sleep better.
As is, he's taken to staying up until four or five in the morning so he can sleep during the day as it makes his nightmares more bearable.
So I guess, a nightlight would help. But unfortunately, as he's living with me and my family, we have to share a room, so a nightlight is out of the question. But he is moving out soon and he said he's get one.
I'll see if I can get the cat to sleep on his bed in the meantime. Having a ferocious predator on hand, might make him feel safer.
