Also, how high is the fire. I mean, does it give the Smith/Steve cover against each other?

EDIT: -1 on the rogues due to Slow, not that it matters.

It's "five feet" high.
However:
Quote:
Big Creatures and Cover
Any creature with a space larger than 5 feet (1 square) determines cover against melee attacks slightly differently than smaller creatures do. Such a creature can choose any square that it occupies to determine if an opponent has cover against its melee attacks. Similarly, when making a melee attack against such a creature, you can pick any of the squares it occupies to determine if it has cover against you.
So I thiiink they can reach around the fire OK.

...Yes, yes it is. Should only be attacking Smith. Thought I had cleaned up all of those.

You know, I don't think I have ever appreciated how utterly crippling Slow can be until now. :D
It really is an awesome thing, and probably the sole reason DFA are considered a tier above Warlocks. That and controversial metabreath abuse I'm not using. But yeah, when I saw that it's still a round of Slow even on a passed save, I was thrilled.
I have a feeling it'll be less effective against most of the big bosses, who can rock out hardcore on Standard Actions. It's melee brutes who need full-attacks that suffer most. Like, for example, The Smith. It should do well against Duriel too, but to get there we need to beat Andariel and the Summoner, both of whom will be less susceptible. We'll see how things go. ^^

I think the moral of this story is that we're really good at taking down one guy, but suck at crowds.

In this case? Think something like the Hulk, but it has 3 arms.

Cathan's Sigil Price: 11,000GP Body Slot: Ring Caster Level: 5th Aura: Faint; (DC 17) necromancy Activation: - Weight: -
Each time you deal damage to a living creature with a weapon while wearing this ring, you heal five points of damage. When the ring has healed a total of fifty points of damage, it will not heal any more until the following day.
In addition, you gain damage reduction 1/-.
I like how after the healer leaves, we stop finding healing potions.
Also, away from books at the moment, what do the eyes of truth or executioners mace do?

Muhahahahaa.
(Actually, this guy had reasons to not leave gold or unused magic items around.)

Eyes of Truth: Short version is that it is an item that gives +5 to spot, and as a swift action, gives you True Seeing for one round once per day.
An executioner's mace is an exotic weapon. 2d6 damage at medium size, x3 crit, deals both slashing and bludgeoning.
Or so Crystal Keep tells me. I have to admit I've never seen the original source.

TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF THE POMPOUS DRAGONLORD!
I was really hoping to hit lvl 10 that fight, but oh well. None of the gear is particularly useful for me, but I still have the gloves and scepter from the previous one.
Total loot value so far: 50,146, plus whatever we can pry off those 96 rogues or so, making our individual shares something over 8,357 each. Tatsuhiro has called dibs on 5402 resale value. I can't remember who else has grapped individual items.

That ring would certainly fit with Fjodyn's style of getting smacked and smacking things back.
SoZ, is that total taking into account things people have already taken or assuming a complete liquidation of assets?
Am I understanding properly that if I grabbed that ring, it would that count as 5500 of my 8357 per your math?
The normal way we do things is assume a complete liquidation, and any claimed items come out of your share.

I forgot to mention regarding Cathan's Sigil - that lifesteal is the same as the one provided by a Crystal of Life Drinking, they were not intended to stack.

Trade in Mariah's items and gold for full (not normal resale) value.

Would Tatsuhiro be able to find a diadem or circlet with a dragon motif? Or can we say that one is included in his "Ritual Draconic Robes" on his inventory?

Sure, let's say it was included with the robes.

No problem. You weren't missing for long enough to miss a round.
