Hmm, good info today, but we could use more from those who haven't talked or were vague earlier. I say we start moving in on a lynch for someone's claim or lack of one we aren't happy with to avoid a hangman kill.

Well I don't like our chances of getting a majority but I'll go for Gray Mage. I think less than half the people alive have even posted this day phase so...

Agreed. We need to start cutting the branches to save the tree. And Gray Mage is looking awfully branchy.

Whoever the hangman is, don't do anything silly like you did last time.

Remember the plan, TBF.

Like the idea listed there, don't see how giving a role name would be detrimental or overly helpful to either side.

Anyways talking about the hangman, and seeing as we can not truly point, and that people seem to not post during the weekend. . . was ther going to be another 'and'?
Hangman, if it comes down to your choice we respectfully ask you to pick Gray Mage.

Hangman is probably either someone new or a troll. Whoever you are, DON'T KILL CLAIMERS (unless some wolf is really stupid and claims true)

@TBF: Ah cool, so you're a neutral role seer, and you've scried me, which is even better.
(As you'll be able to confirm in that case of me role claiming.)

And yes, Hangman, please kill people that haven't role claimed, and definitely consider the person that the people are FoSing during the day.

Well, I want a lynch today but I'm still not sure about Supagoof.

Might as well point at Grey Mage to make sure the Hangman doesn't get a chance.

Gah, I've been really inactive haven't I?

In my defense I'm in the middle of my exams and fairly new to Werewolf across the internet. On that note, I'll agree with the bandwagon on grey mage

Sort of. This past week my classes took a lot of my time, and I'm not being able to figure things out yet in this game. Still, I think I'd be much more usefull to town in the late game, but I don't think I can really contribute right now, unless you guys have a question for me.

Now, I'm still figuring out how to best use my role (I must say that I wasn't expecting it and it's sort of new to me), so the end game commentary is not so much because of the role, it's because I work better at end games, at least I think so. My role is sort of a one/two off use role, the thing is that if I use it wrongly I think it'd cause more harm then good, plus, I think claiming would us no good. We'd probably still be in this situation.

I don't understand the Gray Mage bandwagon but I accept his answer. Who I'm suspicious of now is anyone who jumped on the bandwagon without posting their own role info. I'd say that's where we look for our first wolf.

Therefore I'm going to vote the first to jump on the wagon with no info, RuneboundShade.

Bookboy, if you targeted me I don't know if it worked or changed anything. I kept &we safe from the watchful blade of the Rebels, or at least I have no evidence to prove I didn't do that. And they won't hit me tonight.

I think the Gray Mage bandwagon was just someone looked down the list of people who didn't claim and picked them.

I guess my ability failed. My understanding is you would know if it worked on you (based on your clues about your role and info I've weaseled from Pengi about the specifics of my ability)

Thing is, Gnomish, the day is almost over. If we don't lynch Gray Mage, then we essentially hand the day to the Hangman again.

As to who started the wagon: I hadn't remembered hearing from Gray Mage, so I searched this thread on him. Prior to just now he's managed to post all of once since the game started.

I was worried that the lack of lynch votes would lead to a hangman day (which it should be obvious why I don't want) and thus decided to vote for an inactive. I don't like inactives at the best of times and my objective pretty much requires lots of discussion.

So, I voted Gray Mage to get the voting rolling.

To Gray Mage: How active will you be going forward?

Well, I most likely won't have such a busy week in college until early july, so I hope a lot more active, at least with discussions and such (could be a good idea to poke me from time to time though, to be sure).

Day 4:

Rauchsten sat on the throne, the Silent watching out the window as a hawk chased and caught its prey. In many ways, the Silent was like a hawk. Strong and nimble. Intelligent. Able to snap weaker men in half. He had keen eyes, and keen hearing. He would fight to the death when the situation required it, and he was very protective of his ward. Perhaps, he thought to himself, perhaps he ought to train a hawk again. The last one had been such a help before it died. He shook his head, then looked at his ward. This boy, he had such an importance. Everything he had ever known and hoped for rested on the shoulders of this boy.
Then a soldier burst through the throne room doors. “Sir! Sir”
Rauchsten tensed up. This couldn’t possibly be good news. “What is it?”
“It is the Hangman.”
Rauchsten shook his head. “Where is he? What has happened?”
“He… he has hanged himself!”
Rauchsten’s eyes widened. “What?”
“He was found dead, alone, a table overturned nearby!”
Rauchsten shook his head. “Well, then. I guess there will be no execution today.”
“It looks like it, Sir.”
Rauchsten drummed his fingers on the throne, then waved the soldier away. “Dismissed.”
The soldier bowed and left. Rauchsten continued to drum his fingers on the throne, before looking back at his Silent guard. “Things will be much more difficult from now on.” The Silent only nodded in response.

Night 4:

He had found two of them. Two of them! The one who had eluded him all those years ago was first. He wiped his finger along the blade, grinning in anticipation. Revenge, sweet revenge. It was finally his. Then the old man, who had stood with the others against him even longer ago. He was one of the only ones still around from the old days. He shook his head. Maybe the old man wasn’t as guilty as the rest, but… this was not the time to shirk from his duties.
He crept through the castle, approaching the man’s chamber. He was going to kill him, he was finally going to die. It was finally going to be over. Then someone opened a door and ran out, crashing into him. He fell back, recovering easily, while the sudden appearance had fallen to the ground. His eyes widened as he realized who this boy was. “You!”
The Rogue looked up, eyes defiant. “You!” He leapt up, waving his dagger at the older man.
“Now, now, boy. Don’t get hasty.”
“You… You betrayed my father!”
“I did no such thing. That was all a misunderstanding.”
“I do not believe you!”
“’Course not. No one ever did. That’s why I was put in exile.”
“And you should have stayed there!”
“Now, now, boy. I still have my honor, even if every shred of my dignity has left me.” He slid his blade against the boy’s neck. “I don’t want to kill you. But if you force me to, I will.”
The Rogue glared. “I will kill you.”
“Just let me past. My business is no concern of yours.”
The Rogue spat at him. “You have done enough already.” He then rammed his blade into the older man’s stomach, then kicked him to the floor, running.
