Without instructions, I defaulted to my usual strategy of targeting a player who was a focus of attention the previous day. I was scried and nothing else.

So, if Sir Ebonwolf reports that I'm evil, it most likely means that I can't see disguises, but that seems kind of unlikely, so you probably shouldn't believe me. If he reports that I'm good, I really am, I'm evil but told the truth about my role and deliberately did not report the disguise, or I'm evil, lying, and made a lucky guess. Or I could be the disguiser, I guess. If someone else scried me, that would be inconvenient.

Presumably there is one, and if flabort hadn't been inactive I probably would have discovered it by now, but unfortunately I only get 3 results from all the nights from before plus last night so it'll be a while before the pattern can be found.

Now, did anyone else target PM? If so, then he's lying.

Now, I think I've figured out what's going on. ENTER THEORY MODE!

There is a wolf voider (WV). WV is in contact with whoever has the night kill (NK). WV targeted Gnomish 2 nights ago (resulting in Gnomish being unable to bane anyone last night). Then NK targeted Gnomish last night. Grue Bait, as a bodyguard (I would like confirmation from &we, but we're pretty certain) saw that the baner was under threat (and had picked up the hint that I didn't about GW being voided), and used his ability to preserve the baner. WV also targeted me last night because my ability CAN (if it works) be really scary, especially with the Marauder having both mark and scry.

EXIT THEORY MODE!

That's all theory, but it's what I have.

Sapo: That was mostly a snarky comment. I didn't even know there was a Town Drunk in Medieval I. How did it work last game, that could be helpful.

If memory is correct it gave a color and an animal, color was alignment and the fist letter of the animal matched to that of the persons role name (as the Grave-Maker (town, finds the role of those that are lynched) last game we (would have?(not sure if it was used)) turned up as the Cerulean Giraffe). This here is different, but one would link death with an organ pipe.

Exactly, the initial of the animal name corresponded with the initial of the role, although it could have changed.

Also, someone scry billtodamax tonight, I've seen him posting in FFRP, yet he still isn't posting here and hasn't been autolynched. Which implies he's only posting night actions. A brilliant method for a wolf to lay low with when there are so many inactives.
I just keep missing the day phases. When I do manage to get on at the right time, I get this game confused with Meta, and think that I've either posted here, or that it's nighttime and I can't.

As for my role, I'm the Scribe. I have the power to use someone's power during the night, and I have a sneaking suspicion that I also void the person I target...

I've missed like ninety nights, and two of the nights I've hit people that didn't have powers - I think they were masons.

Then I hit Zar Peter, trying to verify his powers (I don't think I got the results for that?) and then I hit Gnomish so there'd be two banes going around...

I think I MAY see a pattern, but with the suspicions against RBS and calar being an unknown, it's very shaky. Instrument = Good, Shell (only had one, can't categorize) = Evil.

The two I think they were masons I targetted were GM and BoF. I can't remember what nights they were on. Zar Peter was... a few nights ago? It was the night before the day he complained about being voided - I figured it was a coincedence. Then 2 nights ago I hit gnomish. I didn't hit Superdark - there must be another voider hanging around.

I seriously hope that didn't disguise me as my opposite alignment or something like that... no, Pengi wouldn't give a disguise to a town sided role, so the disguise probably wasn't me, now that I think about it, it's more likely that It day banes or something... that would, of course, be going on the theory that PM can actually watch, but doesn't see disguising or is a wolf removing it from his results.

So RuneboundShade didn't bane me and quite possible has a disguise technique.

Who is even left to be suspicious of at this point? From what I can tell someone has to be lying. I'm not changing my vote, I still think it's RuneboundShade, because I'd like to think I'd lie about having a disguise ability given the chance as well.

Alternatively was it made public that Ebonwolf would scry RuneboundShade? If there is a disguise role working for the wolves it would be a good idea to disguise anyone they knew Ebonwolf would scry to get the town away from hitting potential wolves every night.

Ebonwolf hasn't even been to the forums in a few days, hopefully he'll come back and provide us with some useful info. Until then we need to start figuring this out on our own.

I scried PM last night and it said he was good, I have scryed Runeboundshade before and he came up as evil so last night i marked runebound.
I want to lynch RBS because we will know what role he was as well. Hope this clears the water a bit
