"Oh. Well, we hope we never have to risk that. Because angry wasps are very bad. At least we have a big lake to hide in here, so that we can hide there."
Keo looks at Jamie. "There aren't any magical water wasps, are there? That would be very bad."
"Well... I used to be human," the Huldra replies as he hangs from a branch by his tails. "But I was cursed and became a Huldra. It... happens to people sometimes in my world. Discord warps who they are."
Mean ol' Discord!
"But I got to keep my soul and I didn't forget who I was. So... that's good! I imagine forgetting who you are would be terrible."
Awful and terrible!
...
With the dryad girl distracted Freddie begins climbing again at a fevered pace!
Ha!
He's going to catch up!
[Forest Hut]
Freddie nods. "I'm happy to be of service to my new home. I'll let Lily sleep. When she wakes up you can tell her that I've set off to explore the campsite. If she wants to join me I'll leave a wisp for her to follow."
With that he'll stand, nod, and say, "Emperor's blessings, friend."
A little blue wisp of fire drifts out of his back and begins to drift and dance and spin through the air.

Jamie quickly shakes her head. "Nope, no water wasps here. If there were though my dad would have developed a type of Raid to kill them with," she declares, clearly having full confidence in Toby's bug-killin' abilities!
"Yeah... that's pretty weird. I never heard of anything like that before." Whoops, now Freddie is starting to catch up to her. Salix scrambles up to the next branch and continues her climb.
Keo blinks. "What's the other half? Oh, and what's a werefox? And if he is a fox that means he was a fox, too. And he probably will be a fox. But he isn't any of these, because he's a half were fox half something else."
"The other half is human," Jamie explains. "And a werefox...it's a being that is sometimes a fox, but sometimes is normal human. Mostly. It was his mother who was the werefox. I think. We've never really talked about it. And yeah he does." She nods proudly. "He's a druid. He's good at science too though."
"So... he is half a thing.... that is sometimes a fox... and half one of those "human" people, and..."
...
"So he's sometimes..."
She gets down and makes some simple scratches in the dirt. It appears to be a simple tally system... that is not helping Keo at all. She's trying to do math for some reason and is not good enough at math for it to be of any help.
Salix moves onto the branch next to him, sitting furthest away from the trunk. It's rather precarious. "I think my tree is somewhere around there." She points to a wooded area not all that far from GLoG. The way she says 'my tree' is the same way someone might say 'my mom' or 'my friend'.
"No problem, but I'm not an 'it' and my name is Andy."

Pathfinder tries to reach out to pull Reelshka close and under the covers, to give him someone warm to be with. "It was my first attempt at doing it. I didn't even know it was possible, but it just felt right." He admits.
Forest Hut - That Night
Waterstrider will hold Renetta close all through the night and fall asleep against his beloved. At least, until Flamecrest cries out, then he'll awaken and take care of her.
Forest Hut
Pathfinder gives Freddy a nod. "I will. See you around, Freddy."

Reelshka is pulled under the covers and gladly snuggles up to Pathfinder.
I think you did great, and Wolfen mythology is wonderful. I was a bit worried at how much it had taken out of you, though.

"I just... want to live my life without it always coming back to them, you know? And he'd really hate it for things to go south if they decided Cessie was her "evil" counterpart and needed to be put down too.
"Anyways, they live primarily in their own keep near Watchtower, that they're a part of. I was trying to avoid that place on the tour.""
End of Tour
Cessie nods slowly, "I understand, I won't make you visit them Harnel. Let's just go elsewhere and pretend they don't exist. They can't be known everywhere right?" The mage smiles encouragingly.
Harnel smiles back at Cessie. Just seeing her smile was enough to brighten a day. "You're right. Anyways, you said you wanted to see NO next, yes?" Harnel offers his arm to her again.

Freddie gives the girl a rather curious look. "Your tree?"
What's that supposed to mean?
Don't dryads have weird wooden men that follow them around?
Wait...
Oh! Right! A wizard did that! Normally they have a tree that... umm...
Is a tree? Freddie isn't sure how this works.
"Yeah, um... my tree." Salix nods sagely. It's hard for her to explain it when it's just a vague feeling of attachment to it, in addition to the very real attachment. "I have to stay close to it most of the time. Unless I bring a vine. But I have to go back." The dryad unwinds one such vine out of her hair. It blends in perfectly, so you'd never have known it was there.

It'd be a rare night that Flamecrest does sleep straight till morning. Renetta will of course wake up as well, but lets Waterstrider handle it. She needs changing, not feeding.
"Why is GLoG so full of things that don't make any sense? There is magic, and tree tents, and fire boxes, and funny things with neck knives, and your dad... What's a dad, anyway?"
"Yeah. Beyond that, you are enough alike that there will be some confusion whenever your lives are linked tangentially. Um, that sentence made a lot more sense in my head. Anyway, you two have a nice day."
And unless something comes up that would make her want to stay, Kate will walk away. She wants to talk to Julie before going off to see Cessie and Harnel; that's what she came to GLoG for in the first place.
Near Rowan Cabin
Julie may have to wait, although she's certainly not busy. The reason Kate may be distracted from her intended goal is very simple.
A slight cough issuing from behind Kate, followed by a very meek sounding, "Hi..."
Mintbalm is in fact standing behind Kate, about twenty paces back. Her hands are clasped behind her back and she's fidgeting awkwardly, bangs partially hiding her eyes from sight.
She coughs again, trying to strengthen her voice a bit, "Hi." Seems to work better the second time.
