"I accept your apology," the demon-fox replies 'n baps his tails a few times on the ground. "And if you know where I can get something to eat that would be great. It's been waaaay too long since I've eaten anything and I'm afraid I'll start frying from the inside out."
Which would probably be terrible.
No one likes being burned from the inside out.
"So... where is this place that has a ghost problem?"
Because that's a problem he can totally solve!
And what's more, it's a problem that he would rather like to solve!
Since it would stop the aforementioned frying.

When bedtime came and Lily wasn't at Poplar cabin, Brand went to look first at the infirmary, and then at Pathfinder's hut. He found her asleep and scooped her up gently to carry home.
Not gently enough. She woke up and looked around sleepily. "Where's Pathfinder?"
"He's still on his date, dumpling."
"Why? What is he DOING for so long?" Lily pouts
"You can ask him tomorrow." Brand says.
"No! I wanna ask him tonight!" Lily whines. "Let me down."
Lily had often had sleepovers with the Wolfen, and the place was kept safe by the spirit guardians even when the Wolfen were away, but Brand didn't intend to let her stay tonight. Not when Pathfinder might be bringing Miss Reelshka back to his hut. With Daddy instincts, Brand could sense the approaching tantrum and tried to head it off. "Pathfinder needs a night to do grownup things. But... if you promise to be quick, I'll let you down long enough to leave him a note."
"I promise," Lily says dejectedly. She climbs down and writes a very short message.
She puts her arms up again for Daddy to pick her up and he starts to carry her home. Pathfinder may encounter them before they leave.
When Pathfinder arrives, it's at least a couple hours after Lily and Brand have left, but his ears droop when he smells that they were there, especially when he sniffs out Lily's sadness. When he finds the note, his shoulders slump in guilt and he gives a sigh. He turns to slip into his bed, but a nagging thought comes to him.
He takes a moment to reach under his bed for a small pouch and pulls the bits of rock and bone from inside. With a muttered prayer, he casts them. Once they've settled, he smiles to himself and puts them away before heading out with a blanket in his arms.
Poplar Cabin - Last Night
Pathfinder sneaks into the cabin, specifically Lily and Tito's room and smiles to himself when he sees that they're asleep. He quietly lays the blanket on the ground between the beds before gently picking up Tito and Lily one at a time. He tries to make sure they stay asleep and settles down in-between them.

Tito wakes up first, and seems completely unsurprised to be snuggled up with Pathfinder. "G'morning Path," he mumbles and trudges off to the loo.
His movement wakes Lily, who wakes up with a squeal of "Pathfinder!" "I went to see you last night but you were gone so long and Daddy said you and Reelshka might be going away to get married! But you didn't! You're still here!"
Redundant, perhaps, but it goes a lot faster to getting him better than he can on his own. Marley winces a few times during the treatment, but tries to hold still.

Vidalia turns to Marty. Go back to your cabin and get some rest. You've already had too much excitement for the day.
She then turns to Freddy. Like I said, there's a couple places I know of. First is an old hospital that burned down. No doubt there are plenty of ghosts there, even from before the fire. She'll try to lead the way.

Marty smiles warily. A-Alright V-Vidalia..I'll see y-you later I g-guess... He turns back and walks to his cabin slowly. He falls once and lands on the ground, but gets up before anyone can see. He then opens his cabin door and proceeds to make some delicious soup. Yummy stew...
Hopefully the demon-fox will be able to get some noms here pretty soon. Because he's becoming increasingly desperate. He does a good job of hiding it, but he's in an absurd amount of pain.
Anywho!
He'll nod and follow Vidalia!
To that place!
The one with the ghosts!
For nommings!

Brinika scurries over - scurrying appears to be the default mode of movement for goblins, especially their kids - to the halfling mother and curtsies politely. The babies aren't here yet, Mrs. Applehill?

"That might have been Its fault, it could change the entire Sanitarium to torment those who found it. I don't think I have been hurt... I am actually not sure I can bleed."
Lucy says, smiling embarrassedly. A nurse should really know much more about their own medical state, even if they have only regained their autonomy recently.
"It was nothing much, I was merely joyful at the sight of the inhabitants here. There was a large octopus, perhaps thrity feet long, in the lake, but those around weren't even afraid! It's quite astonishing for me, but I am sure I sound like a naďve girl from the city to you."
Lucy and Bill --> Andy's Cabin "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."*
*Yes, I've noticed that no one is afraid of me either... "Rararararararararararara."*
*I'm also quite glad that thing didn't hurt you. You're the first friend I've made for a while now, I'd hate to lose you.
"Your body... and to have someone to share this with. We're heisting a pirate's plundered booty! That's not the kind of thrill you want to go through on your own. Now, if you don't mind me speeding things up a bit..." Julie closes her eyes, shuts her mouth, and concentrates. With a rumble, the chest should begin to rise out of the hole, shedding sand as it goes. Julie is obviously straining to lift that much weight with her telekinesis, but she should have it up on the beach before long.
[Lakeside - Tomorrow]
The chest does not resist being telekineticly lifted out of its hole. It is rather heavy, though, being made of strong wood and filled with treasure. Once up on the beach, it sits there like most inanimate objects do.
If Julie or Justin should open the chest, they will find that it is full of loot! Brilliant, shining loot! Gold coins, gemstones, beautiful silver and pear jewelery, a crown or two, jewel-encrusted daggers, and a bundle of papers containing wills, deeds, and sea charts/maps. Everything you'd expect a pirate to bury in the ground, and all of it worth quite a lot.

Justin will run to the chest once it's set down and try to open it first. When he sees the treasure he'll stare in awe for a moment, then reflexively try to start shoving it in his pockets and down his jumpsuit, giggling like a madman. A crown may immediately find itself on his head. His face is full of glee!

Justin is going to find a force holding him back for all it's worth if he's not careful, as Julie tries to stop his thieving hands from grabbing the loot once the chest is open.
"No first picks, remember? Let's divide it up into two piles first, and then you can roll around in your ill gotten gains, alright?" She is straining pretty hard to hold him back. After lifting that chest, her mental capabilities are a bit taxed.
Justin is quite surprised to find himself being stopped. When he turns his head to Julie it sinks in well enough. "Sorry. Been a while since I've seen that kind of payoff. You don't lie about scores, can see that much." He eyes the treasure again. "So we need to split it up? Why don't you let me split it up, Julie? You take a nap or something, you look plum tuckered out. I'll have it all sorted when you wake up."

Julie gets a wry smile all of a sudden, and lets Justin go, "I don't lie about much these days hun, you ought to know that. Even so, I haven't gotten soft these past two months. No, you and I are going to go over these spoils one after another, and make the split evenly. Then we're going to crack open those cases of chocolate, fill this thing up, and go on our way.
Now let's do this as fair as possible. Documents, then Gems, then jewellery, then coins." Julie can be a downright taskmaster when it comes to her children's livelihood, and she's not about to let Justin cheat her out of some extra money she might need down the road. She's been broke for too long now.
Justin gives a childish hmmph! when he fails to get his way. "Fine. We should hold those documents aside, rather than splitting them up right away, though. We don't really know which are any good or not, so we should look into them afterward and split those too." He's sure neither of them wants to be stuck with a bum document.

Poplar Cabin - This Morning
Pathfinder gives a chuckle at Lily and gives her a tight hug. "Married? Oh, definitely not. We just had a fun night is all." He tells her honestly, nuzzling her. "You know I wouldn't abandon you like that."
Sapling Cabin
Brinika might eventually see Waterstrider walk in with a smile on his muzzle. In his arms is Flamecrest, wrapped up in a little bundle of rabbit pelts to keep her warm and comfortable. "Good morning." He tells them both, happy beyond all limitations.

"That's fine. Maybe one of them will lead to another buried treasure? We can only hope, right?" With nothing more to be said, Julie will dive right into the long process of sorting and seperating loot, spreading out a large blanket (that she pulls from her purse, naturally) first so that they don't lose any in the sand.
And then, unless Justin is still going to attempt to cheat her, we can probably skip over most of the counting and sorting, and wait for Rot to tell us what it amounts to.
"Good! Cause I want to marry you when I grow up, and I can't if you're already married to Miss Reelshka." Lily says, hugging Pathfinder tightly. "It's not fair I'm not grownup yet and she is!"
Sapling Cabin
Pansy has that 'want to hold the baby itch', but she lets Brinika take first peek. She's already seen and held little Flamecrest.
