Marty is now rather pissed really. This man was being a complete pain! Y-You know what. Nevermind. G-Go away. I'll f-find him myself you horrid little m-man. Marty will attempt to brush by Reinholdt and start wandering around the camp, hunting for Freddy.
"I betcha I'm taller than you!" Reinholdt calls after him. "I'm just... you know... crouching right now. A little. This thing's heavy!" He's totally taller. Maybe.
Well whatever. Rein wasn't asking for a life savings. Now then, back to business.
Reinholdt heads inside the Main Cabin properly this time and heads straight to the kitchen, shedding his makeshift cover along the way. Once there he starts digging through the fridge. Looking to see if GLoG still had blood drinks for all the vampires that came through. Not that he needed any or anything. Just... taking stock he tells himself. Stock is important.

Probably the one with the biohazard symbol on it is the fridge to go through. The other one is rather full nicely non-bloody things like cold cuts and fish and cheese and butter and leftover vegetable stew... mmm, that stew sure would taste delicious over rice, and with some freshly baked bread.
Reinholdt clasps his hands together for a second. "Me? Oh. Uh... no. Thanks. I was just... taking inventory. Of these dangerous things. We don't want them falling into the wrong hands so gotta make sure they're all there. You see." Reinholdt says, going to open the biohazard fridge and peer inside.

"It isn't dangerous. It's only blood. If it had diseases it might be dangerous, but we were assured that it's been tested and only clean blood is brought here." Brand says. "The important thing is to keep is separate so that no one uses it in the cooking by accident. That's why we have symbols all over it, so that no one makes that mistake."
He takes the bread down from the top of the stove, where it had been rising, and starts to knead. Knead knead knead knead the yummy bread that will never taste like anything but dust to the vampire...
"We haven't met, formally. I'm Brand Applehill. But I already know who you are, Reinholdt. Stop by whenever you like. Just be careful around the kids, please. They have a long way to go before they'll have recovered from their ordeal, and it's difficult for them to trust strangers." the halfling says. He's busy with bread. Rein can steal blood successfully without being caught in the act.
Whether he arouses no suspicion though, is another question entirely.
"I think I've met them already actually. Provided there aren't halfling children here that aren't yours." Always a possibility. Of course, he was a talking kitty at the time, so they paid him little heed. Too busy chasing a Slii rat.
"What ordeal?"

"We were captured by slavers. My family, the wolfen brothers, and Renetta. There were others as well, but they chose not to stay here. As you can imagine, it's left scars on all of us, but particularly on the little ones. It's good for them to have found a safe place where they can heal, and we'll do all we can to give back to the community. I know we aren't the only escaped slaves harboured here at GLoG, but it means.... it means everything... to know that we have a sanctuary." Brands words are given with all the full expression of a loving parent and a sensible man speaking truth from the heart.
"Ah. Well, I'll certainly keep that in mind should I run into them." Reinholdt doesn't consider GLoG the best sanctuary to have, based on past experience, but that's all full of biased logic and not the emotional attachment that's likely involved so isn't terribly applicable.
"Take care." Rein adds, going to step into the next room. He almost leaves without thinking about it, but stops himself in time to grab that stupid, now quite dirty curtain and drape it over himself before exiting the cabin. Unless Brand has something else he wishes to add.

It's more of the fear of the long journey back to Applehill lands and what they might encounter along the way. Better to stay here in a relatively safe place until the children are older and better emotionally to face their fear of journeys.
Also... lots of kids here, and babbies to play with.
Sooo many babies... @.@
It's like people like having sex and making them or something.
Unless someone intercepts Reinholdt along the way, which is entirely possible and open to whomever, Reinholdt will return to his cabin for solitude. Good thing he likes to keep it nice and dark in his room anyways.

"I... I just need some damned food before I pass out or eat my notebook." Though Aiden's trying his best not to look starved, it's pretty obvious that he's not doing so well.
This is going to be great. Freddy hasn't had one of those ever since he got Huldra'd. And that was... a while ago now.
"I think someone in charge of logistics would be perfect for it," Freddy replies with a foxy grin. "Creatures of Discord can be warded away with relatively simple means. Mostly with plants and herbs. Garlic, belladonna, allheal, they're all useful wards against Discord."
The demon-fox glances about, sniffing at the air a bit. "This place is such a powerful beacon to lost souls. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't attracted the attention of any Wights yet. Garlic in the doors and at the windows can keep them out of a building easily enough."
And then the Huldra is pounced upon!
"Uuf!" he lurches forward a bit as the child gloms onto him. It's... nice. Being near someone who he doesn't have to worry about eating. Makes it a little easier to imagine that he's still a person instead of a hollowed out thing twisted by Discord.
"Ah, hello again Lily. I'm glad Vidalia didn't eat me too," Freddy replies as the one of one of his flame-like tails takes on a rather handish appearance and reaches up to muss the girl's hair. "She showed me somewhere I could get something to eat. And then she apologized for being mean."
*gasp!*
What madness is this?
We have a spirit charm protecting the place. I'm not sure if it could work against those... Discord creatures, but it's worth asking Pathfinder about. And then halfling-glomps happen.
Oh... hello Lily. I see you know Frederick already.

"Oh no! Vidalia doesn't help anybody. If she said she sorry, it was a trap, and she wants to trick you and catch you in her vines and steal you away and feed you to her talking onions!" Lily says.
"I... I just need some damned food before I pass out or eat my notebook." Though Aiden's trying his best not to look starved, it's pretty obvious that he's not doing so well.
[Front Entrance] -> Kitchen
Andy will try to bring him to the kitchen. Hopefully Pansy is here to help him, if not he will try to grap something for him. An appel or so.

Smells are funny things. When you have a strong sense of smell you think of the world differently. Here, was a lot of smells. Man, woman, funny, animal... and the smell of the place. This place in the camp just smelled funny. Something smelly about this wood tent.
But here there is a smell like that a tiny bit, but mainly like cloth. And here is another funny smell... they go over there... this trail is more recent. The funny smell must have split up from the cloth smell. Follow the cloth smell (the funny smell will be easier to find later) and find out where it goes...
This method will lead Keo to the door of elm cabin. She's sniffing at scratching at the door, wondering why something that smelled like cloth would go around camp and into another wood tent. Is a magic blanket moving around? Keo will sniff and scratch at the door, trying to figure out this mystery.
"Pathfinder is big and strong and he can fight any bad spirit EVER!" Lily declares. "That's the only reason the onions haven't eaten everybody yet. They're scared of him. That's why Vidalia wants to get scary bad men to help her fight Pathfinder so that all of her onions can eat everybody."
Main Kitchen
There is always abundant food in the Main Kitchen. Fresh bread, cheese, fruits and vegetables of whatever sort is in season, and usually a big giant pot of soup on the back of the stove.
Reinholdt wipes his mouth, discarding the empty bottle. He felt... he felt like he was going to be sick. It tasted so... good. But it was... ugh. Just...
*scritch scritch*
Hmm?
Reinholdt goes to the door and opens it, being careful to stand mostly behind the door so the sun can't get on him.
He looks down at the creature there. "Hello? Can I help you?"

Andy will go give him a bit from everything, after all he don't know what this guy eats and what he doesn't eat even if he starves. After the man? seems to recover strength Andy will sit next to him.
"What happened?"

The adult (Freddy thinks that this short pointy eared being is an adult at least. He honestly isn't sure) has a vastly different stance on man-eating onions than the child does. Which isn't terribly surprising.
One of Freddy's ears quirks off to the side curiously.
"I see... I'll have to keep that in mind," he replies without making it clear who he's actually replying too. "In any case I should probably speak with Pathfinder if he's in charge of the spiritual protection of the place. I might be able to offer advice on hazards that have entered the Nexus along with part of my home world."
He thing grins a foxy grin.
"And who knows, he might have advice for me too!" now attention is turned to Lily! "Can you show me where Pathfinder lives?"

Reelshka shakes her head. Lily's encounter with Vidalia must have been traumatizing. To be honest though, Reelshka doesn't like the onion woman much either.
I think it won't hurt for him to tell him, she finally says. Lily or I can show you where he lives. She was going to meet him today anyway, but by herself.
