Yepp. Sorry about that.
I am...sorta. That spell works fine though. If anything is left alive and a threat, Imaran will go with the tried and true ray. If its wriggling in slime or something, the beatsticks can handle it

INO? You going to take out the wolf-dog, or shall I? I'd rather not use the spell slot, tbh
Psh, I thought there were so many ways around spell slots the possibility of running out of spells was a joke limitation in the balance between mundane and magic.

...do you actually know of any way to avoid losing spell slots?
I know about Rings of Wizardry, Scrolls (Which barely count as a way around spell slots, though are still useful), and a feat from a fairly obscure book that lets you roll to get a spell back.

I can't honestly say that I personally do, no. Just hearsay about optimisation tricks, and a few 3rd party feats, but that's it. Personally not a big fan of that kinda thing anyway.

Maaan, none of the optimization threads I go to have those.
Must be one of those under-the-table cheeses, like Red Gorgonzola.

The places I end up on the internet... some times, I don't even know how I get there... I just kinda wake up, wondering where I am.
... in other news, what's the DC to move through the greese, or is the dog at enough of the edge of it that I don't have to? If it's above 10, then I can't move this turn...
If I can reach it without moving through the greese and tripping, then I wonder what the chances of this dog surviving is. The last one couldn't take 9 Damage; could this one take 57?

Pearls of Power are really good for low level spell slots. 1k for a 1st level spell. I prefer wands to scrolls to be honest if its a thing like knock or something that doesn't need a dc to be effective.

Hmmm, some good brie on a sourdough baguette with slices of red bell peppers and salami....
That does sound delightful. Personally I would prefer raclette (or buffalo mozzarella) and cherry tomatoes, maybe with some balsamic vinegrette or olive oil dressing. Also, I just got some Iberian ham (think prosciutto), so there's that.

On that note, I'd like to ask, am I still stuck in the grease? May I move again in either or any direction? Was I never stuck at all and simply missed my chance to go? When is my next move?
