I find it to be like fishing in the middle of the Ocean. Some times you can get some goood catches. Some times you get swarmed with good catches. Some times you end up washed up. And some times, the sea swallows you whole just for trying to bother it.
Or you fall out of your chair boat and drown helplessly. I know people who have done that.

KILLL THEM ALLLLL. MUAHAHA. Actually though, theyre all nauseated, so we have a fairly good chance here.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry I found that so funny after Inoknownames has been panicking about this encounter for a while.
And I have no idea if you guys can actually take this many at once. It would be interesting, though they all might pull out crossbows and focus fire one of you down in 1 round. Who knows
They're halflings, right? Just tell them you have candy in your wagon.

If you don't mind me saying, does the argument for this need to be in character, to which we don't have a lot of time to speak of? Or will anyone object to me airing such thoughts here? I'll move them (the few of them that aren't ooc, anyway) into an actual post if I have to.
In character:
Spoiler
Are you aware of the laws of this city? I'm not, at least off of the top of my head, but we might be seen as worse than these criminals in the local court of law if we produce a mountain of corpses when attention is brought to this place, and it would be hard to bring them all in without killing them.
Further more, we don't know the circumstances of the criminals here. For all we know, these people could be manipulated, through threat or magic, into the crimes they might be unwittingly committing. Would their deaths still be just in such a scenario?
There's too much we don't really know. This mission was going to be one of tactics and espionage, not an all out battle. It'll be hard enough getting out in one piece as it is. Wasting time getting into more trouble, from both our foes and the law, isn't a good idea.
And a few out of character notes:
Spoiler
Stinking Cloud isn't an instant kill by itself. It's only a very brief incapacitator, and between the structure of the room and no (and I only say no because I can't find it myself) note on how many might have actually been affected by it, I wouldn't bet on there being a good amount of them dealt with by it alone. Even if some fell, they can easily move out of the way of their allies, reposition themselves and attack or find another way around to get to us from both sides. Meanwhile, those unaffected fight us dirrectly still though we admitedly have a brief reprieve with Energy Wall.
Also, I don't think we recieved confirmation on how many enemies were hindered by the Electric Wall. Hearing them retreat doesn't really give me any confidence on the subject. And given that we're in their territory, and they know exactly where we are, I don't like the odds of trying to stand around and find out, especially with the numbers being so against us as is.
Electric Wall gives us a way out, at least for the moment. I say we go ahead and take it. If there were, say, just 10 of them, I'd be reckless fight all of them myself alone. 20-40, still confident with a pair of casters on my side, although it would leave a large chance for failure, especially if any of them can also cast and start weakining us.
But with their being a minimum of 100 of them vs 3 of us, and with the other half of the party waiting for us, even if we could win, which I doubt we can, I still don't think it's a good option to try.
Should I try to make this a short, coherent in character post to try one last time to convince you not to fight?
Also, guys, I'm really sorry it's been so long... I've had other concerns going on recently... working on some stuff for a new job, still maintaining the old one, school..... and maybe being kicked out of my house.
Aye Aye. Besides, its good. If these are thieves, we should have no problem finding them later. As of the moment they reach the cloud, they all (without realizing it) are implanted with an undead tumor. Actually, thats sorta creepy

I thought I was leading the exit, not sure if I should spent White Raven Tactics to get another action to continue my discussion or not.

Just pointing it out as I made the class you are using that doesn't work. Necrotic Blight (The class feature that lets you spread cysts easier) only works with Necromancy spells. Stinking cloud is a conjuration spell so you can't use it like that.

For a minute, I was kinda scared that we were about to be overrun by Zombies and such, ala Resident Evil.
Good to know.

Welp, now we know who our next Big Bad is going to be.
In other news, how many of you all are still here? I feel awful about holding us up for so many weeks, while swearing up and down that I'd be better about this...
I am still here. I can get Demidos to post more as well if need be. Otherwise a certain spectre in another campaign may be sliiightly difficult to find

.... I bet that makes player killing a bit awkward, depending on how seriously you take your games.
Well I personally prefer a bit harsher of a game than my players do, but we can generally find a good even point. Most of their deaths come from them being horribly stupid. Or fighting summoners. (Note to QWERTY: If Demidos is ever by himself send a summoner at him. He has a 0% victory rate over those in 2 campaigns ranging from level 8-20 and level 3-9)
