Could everyone use this thread to designate a color that they will speak in? NPC characters will be speaking in bold. (Internal monologues should be in your color, in quotes, and italicized).
Please post in-character in the third person, present tense (e.g. "Haley moves to the door and searches for traps," not "I search for traps" or "Haley will search for traps").
Roll dice in the IC thread, in a SPOILER tag (any OOC comments that you want to make in the IC thread should also go in a spoiler tag!)
While I did not mention this in the original 16 (apologies!) I've decided I will be rolling initiative for everyone to start out each combat (it makes combat go *much* faster, and it's not as though posting the lone die roll is particularly fun on its own, nor is waiting for a lone holdout!)
If you have minor regrets about your character sheet (feats, skill assignments, even equipment), please let me know early on and I will probably let you change it. You will get increasingly locked in as the game goes on, so don't keep quiet!
If at any time you would like to quit the campaign, please tell me so we can replace you (and say goodbye!). Leaving a game is absolutely acceptable, but disappearing from the forums abruptly, and forcing us all to wait for you until we decide you're not coming back, is not (this has happened to another campaign I am a PC in).
Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you're all as excited as I am!
Hmm I'll speak in purple, forgive me I get my descriptions and speech colours mixed up though since in my other campaigns I speak in black and describe what I am doing in purple.
A note about the initiative checks also is that my dagger has a warning property so if I am holding it I get a +5 initiative checks. (As seen in the MIC pg 46)
Anyways I am terribly excited, like its actually worked itself into my dreams.

Sure, go ahead and put your speech color in black (it won't confuse anyone between that and NPCs since the rest of the post is in purple).
I have nothing against that, Morgunn traveled a lot so he could meet others at some point... or their parents... or grandparents.
Quick question MissMVicious, I've looked briefly at your char sheet,
You put 15 ranks in Disable Device but nothing in Search, was it meant to be like that?

No, I should probably look at that. It could just be an error from when I transfered it to myth weavers. I am trying to decide who knows if anyone what my race is at the moment.
"Wait I did have a couple of questions about these magical tattoos." I pipe in before the dwarf has to leave. Rahne appears as a pale female human with red tattoos framing her eyes and black hair tied back into a long braid. "What sort of things does this tattoo do?"
missmvicious, don't forget to speak in the third person!
"Hello, folks. Hope the Succubus will be talkin like this." I imagine her talking with a refined "Southern Belle" type accent. Not a hick -- but y'know.
Anyway, I look forward to playing with you all -- I'm surprised I got in with a monster class character :)

EDIT: ninjad. Erm, verden will take... Orange.
I'm quite happy to share buffing with you, verden is preparing undetectable allignment, extensed greater mage armour and extended protection from arrows each day to buff him self, but I've got pleanty of room foe other stuff. I'll have to work it out once O qork out what spells I have prepared on the 1st day.
Also, admiral. Did you see the modified drow I posted? I was hoping to use that as a racw, as it has a lot more rp potential than being a halfling because they are short (only reason I picked it) my preference is for the modified drow, but I'll happily stay halfling if you'd rather.

You can switch to a drow if you like, but I'd prefer no modified races. (Actually, what are the modifications? I can't see them on the description you posted. And don't drow have a +2 LA?)
I changed the cha +2 to a -2, removed farie fire and dancing lights from spell like abilities, reduced the darkvision, made the saving throw bonus just +2 vs enchantments instead of +2 overall. Removed the weapon poison, removed the secret doorfinder, and added the heavy diplomacy penalties, to reduce the LA to +0 and make it viable to go with Verden in this campaign.

Morgunn would probably know, I am not sure though
If changeling's or succubus's change shape would be detected by detect magic spell, he would've used 'True seeing' but, unless 'Detect Evil' shows anything he wouldn't tell anyone else...

I think by RAW Hope would put out an evil aura still since she is an evil outsider. But I am not 100% on that. Might look it up. My character isn't evil though so she wouldn't set off your detect evil.

I'll have to say no (because of the ban on homebrew). Incidentally I don't think that race would be balanced in any case- you'd have SR 23!
I was looking up what Morgunn's deity was when I found that on the character sheet it says "None"! Is that accurate? I know a cleric can be committed to a "cause," but I really like clerics to each have a deity (for roleplaying value).
If you like I can certainly suggest one for your character. We're playing with the standard D+D pantheon (Boccob, Pelor, St. Cuthbert and so on). Depending on player interest, I would be happy to add either the Olympian pantheon (Greek gods) or the Asgardian pantheon (Norse gods) on top of that.
If it would still be okay, though, here is everything you'd ever need to know about him and his clergy.
Let me think on that a bit. I'm tempted to suggest you switch to Corellon Larethian, (also an elven god of music), but Correllon is Chaotic Good rather than Neutral Good. (Of course, so is your unicorn )
I can see what you're saying but really, if a Cleric has to be within one step of their deity's alignment, Paladins should too, really.
Plus, a Lawful worshipper of a Chaotic God seems...particularly off, really.
"I, in turn, an honoured to meet you. I am Jeanne, servant of Milil, Knight of the Harmonious Order, and Chanter of the Sorlyn.
Might I enquire as to whom you revere?"
Her tone is light, her eyes sparkling with genuine interest.
Lexin:
Spoiler
Assuming Morgunn tells Jeanne the name of his god, I'd like to roll a Knowledge: Religion check, if that's okay? Depending on the result, I was hoping you could let me know a little about Morgunn's religion, it could lead to some fun interactions.
Here's the check:
Knowledge: Religion: [roll0]
And that leads to a question I asked Admiral earlier:

If worshiping the pantheon is OK, then:
Spoiler
He serves Moradin, worships Mya and lives by some of Hanseath laws. That means he tries his best to help his kind in every way, thus serving the Dwarffather. He treats his clan and friends as family and that means he would give up his life for them, that and his focus on divination and knowledge gathering is how he serves Mya- The Mother of Wisdom. And finally his long travels and love for good dwarven ale are both motivated by his faith in Hanseath.

Thanks for the invite. Mirus will speak in Sienna.
Other than filling in misc. gear Mirus is complete unless I missed something. I'll finish out the sheet today.
One question, how do we work speaking in a different language? I picture him peppering his conversation with a word here and there that some might not understand. I could just throw in an odd word here and there and add it to a spoiler for those that speak the language. Or ditch the idea if it seems too confusing.
