We thought we had their coughing fits under control but last night BOTH of them woke up at midnight hacking away. We think they're coughing because of reflux irritating their throats.
I trust you've taken 'em to a doctor? Seriously man, don't worry about the game. Focus on your kids. We're not worth the time and effort in this situation.

Kids are doing much better, work is stabilizing, now all I have to deal with is the aftermath of the hurricane. I should be able to make a post by Sunday. I'm going to rewind things to the point right after you guys defeat the quickblade and the minions and Mertes pounced on the retreating Wyrmpriest; keeping track of damage that would have been dealt to the dragonshields was too hard to consider.
The reason I picked this is it puts agency back in the PCs' hands -- their actions will determine whether they are victorious, defeated & captured, flee, etc.
What if you just have us back our Second Winds, a healing surge or two, and some temp HP? Seems a lot easier than rewinding back several turns and reworking everything.
Anyhoo, glad to have ya back, Snow. And my sympathies for your wife's loss, Dekkah.

Hey all. I think I've gotten my act back together. Is everyone okay with Lycan 01's suggestion so we can get this battle back going again? I don't want this game to die here, I realize it's been my fault that it's ground to a halt.

I do prefer Lycan to some huge move back in time or to have some random heros come save us (unless he is really plot revelant... which I dont thin he would or we wont be having this discussion lol)..

I'm still here... unfortunately ever since Hurricane Sandy, my bus commute has gone from ~50 minutes to ~2 hours. I get home tired, and still have family time and chores. At work I sometimes have spare time, and I've hit reply a few times but have never felt like I have any creative inspiration to write a post.
I know once I can start getting good sleep I'll be able to resume; I do have plans for what will happen and I want to see this through.
I still view this game as something I can enjoy, it's just under current circumstances I can't enjoy it. So rather than force myself to write and suck all the joy out of it, I'm going to take a break until the start of the year.
