Always willing to run a dungeon for those who need somewhere to explore. Just PM me, and decide the character and location and I'll see what I can rummage up.
Hey, singingnoodle, Harnel, Slii, and Morty? Are we still doing that Abandoned Mine Plot in Random Places and Plots? They latest posts are this, this, and this, so it's Slii and Harnel's turn, or noodle's if they don't have anything to add. I might have missed something, I dunno.

You have my tacit approval to skip me unless fighting breaks out. Furt, being a particularly dumb abomination against nature, doesn't have much to add to an angry conversation besides snarling and growls.
I'm not sure Harnel is up to posting, but a PM wouldn't go amiss if you're anxious Rot.
References (Victims preferred): NON-VICTIMS:
Lord Grimsmith Bladebeard (if still living), General Barticuul, Lady Dekaros of the Sixth Circle, Marchesa of War, General Ethuriel, General Faceripper the Cruel, General Percival Heatherington-Smythe Cumberbatch the Fifth, Lord Magtok, Ilpholin Xar'Cha (apparently).
I mean, technically he's never served or fought under her (well, maybe he's been under her in general, but never fighting!), so that doesn't count, right?
Also I've just realized I should have included Reverend Narahar as one of his victims, especially seeing as Reverend Narahar is an actual PC and is therefore far more important than any of Kal's backstory kills, including the Balor or Elven SunCommandos.

As for the Inside Council, I believe the results of the meetings are public, but the actual meetings themselves aren't open to the masses. Mostly due to security concerns.
Not to mention the massive slow-down OOC if everyone showed up IC. That said, it can be requested for a PC to speak to the Council if they need to.

I can't remember that the results of the first meeting where ever told to anyone, well I never saw them OOC or so since I can't follow all threads the whole time.
Shadowcaller you need to post in the repository.

Er.... I'm not exactly sure where i post for permission for character creation, can I do that here or can someone point me elsewhere?
Make any character you want! If you want to post the character sheet somewhere, do so in the character directory (I'll get the link in a second.)
If you do, you can always ask for feedback.

You don't need permission, but if you want it... *bestows permission*
We don't do pre-approval for characters here. The Nexus is open to any player who wants to join and to just about any character type you can imagine. That said, some characters will work better than others, and you're welcome to go over your character concept in this thread to get people's opinions. Basically, the three character types that make the most problems are characters that are ludicrously overpowered, characters that pick fights with everyone, or characters that are shy or aloof and hang out in the shadowy corners talking to no one. That said, there are examples of all three types in the Nexus, so it isn't a prohibition - just a warning.
For more information, check out the two links in my sig for newbies, to the left of the
EDIT: Ninja'd by a cyborg and a mermaid! *shakes fist*
Well, after dropping off the face of the earth for about ten days, I'm finally back.
I think I've posted everywhere I need and I'm sorry to those of you whom I made wait on me.....And I'm fairly certain that's proper usage of the word 'whom.' Grammar concerns aside, I believe I've posted everywhere that was wanting with the singular exclusion of the Outside thread. Last I remember there was some back and forth going on with some battle in an APC and I'm unsure if there is anything I need to do there aside from just finding a place to jump into the action from there.
happyturtle I rwead the FAQ, looks hard not to infringe godmodding.
Eadin, as I type I'm creating a character. If I can join freely, which IC can I go to?

Eadin, as I type I'm creating a character. If I can join freely, which IC can I go to? Maybe even the one you guys are using if there isn't something important going on.
Serph: One thing you should remember about godmodding is that you should just try to make sure your characters attempt to do something.
Words like: try, attempt, hope to,... are useful here.
And we'll point you to any mistakes, it's easy to forget at the start but you'll get used to it.
As for where to post: The Nexus has a different thread for different places. Trog's and the Black dragon's den are bars, for example. A good place to meet new people and generally start. Most new people start at Trog's. Just beware of people trying to pick fights. Inside and Outside are just what the title says. Inside the city (no specific building, mostly things like markets and random streets) and Outside the city (things like forests, lakes, the sea and other things).
The easiest way to start is to introduce your character at Trog's (or another bar if you want).
EDIT: Also try not to double post. If you want to add something use the edit button and maybe add "EDIT" in front of the text your adding.
They pick fights with newcomers?
Well I made a character and now I ask for feedback sans grammar nazi's.
here he is:
Spoiler
Serph Ivan X. Grantz

Raven black hair cut slightly short, big eyes with violet irises, small mouth, small ears and a prominent nose. Muscles taut, firm and strong. All body parts are proportional. All armor over neath and covers part of his clothes. Red tattoos with black outlines on feet, head ,and hands. This will be full body over time. A medium and flat bag is hung on the shoulder going around the chest.
Personality: Though he loves boxing and running he also has his vices like gaming and eating. After becoming half fiend his appetite grew. He enjoys physical activities and heat but dislikes studying and the cold. He is adventurous and curious. For fighting he does so only if he thinks it is not a waste of time.He is friendly enough even to people he just met as long as they did not try to kill him then and there. Most important is that he adapts well to changes.

Backstory: Grantz was a young inhabitant of somewhat advanced modern world under in a time of world unification. Born huge, people gazed in awe at him. At the age of 17 he was the largest person around. With boxing and running he became physically fit. During one of his weekend ventures he stumbled upon a curious place. It was an empty storage building. In the building something bit him and entered where it bit on the left arm and crawled it was to his heart. Writhing in pain a creature asks him to sign a contract to free him of his pain, it read: 'I shall take full responsibility for the path i take'. When he signed the world he knew was gone and he was in a strange place. He managed to get some supplies while in the foreign world.
Lewis has been spotted a lot at Trog's and around celebrations, but pretty much everywhere is a viable place for Pixie shenanigans.
Unless it is boring, of course. Lectures on the economy of cotton socks would be the perfect hiding place from Pixies. X3
Lewis will probably be in the Beansy Musical plot soon, though. ^_^'
Also from Lellienth.
And in that case, perhaps he could run into her at Hollow Hill, in Inside, since that's where she tends to be where in the city? I'm sure some sort of fae celebration could be devised, or something like that.

C'nor, who is your Vaess in the Hive thread?
I have no idea who she is at all. And some of the things both you and Beans have had in your posts have confused me to no end because they suggest that Adam should know who this person is, and probably was supposed to be friends with her.
She's a Sukess, and, from what Beans said, apparently a friend of theirs, or at least of Seskila's. Other than that, I'm not really certain.

Mmk then.
Any idea where to go from here with that then?
Cause I dunno. Things probably would have turned out differently if I had thought to ask for this info earlier. Adam would have been nicer, for sure...

Not really, no. Maybe they'll try to make Seskila stop sulking?

Also, to Serph: First, welcome to the madness that is Nexus. Emergency sanity restoration kits are nowhere to be found as Magtok has stolen them. Probably to build a little fortress. Like they were giant Legos.
Anyways, people don't normally pick fights with newcomers. Not at Trog's or Dancing Fox Inn, at least. Black Dragon Inn might.
Your character looks good to me. Get ready for fun times ahead!
