Edit: I realize I missed the "post frequency rules set". Most of this is going to be combat and such, so try to be on daily or so. If you miss your daily post without warning, you can plan ahead "macros" and tell everyone what your main combat strategy is to avoid any screw ups.

Edit 2: And the final two players.

Malk : http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetvie...sheetid=459630
and
Xiatan: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetvie...sheetid=459562

Will be making the main thread soon.

Edit: Mojo
* Only official teams can utilize mojo.
*The Mojo is a bonus poll it can never being higher than 12 and never lower than 0.
* Players can can give another points from this pool to use as a bonus for any d20 roll other than saving throws. The catch is that players can't ask for Mojo pool, it has to be freely offered by another play. Teamwork doesn't work that way.
* Mojo only works in X-crawl
* At the beginning of each new dungeon, players roll 1d6 plus bonuses or penalties to find their starting Mojo.

Mojo Mods
* +1 - Rousing pre-game speech by the Captain
* +2 - Have an official coach
* +1 - Last crawl was a victory
* -1 - Last crawl was a loss
* -4 - Hostile Crowd
* -2 - Lame Crowd
* -1 - Weak/No Crowd
* 0 - Average Crowd
* +2 - Supportive Crowd
* +4 - Whole world is behind you.

In game mods

* -2 - "Bad form"
* +1 - Per critical
* +1 - Per room victory
* +1 - For exceptional move
* -1 - Per Fumble
* -3 - Party infighting.

And Lisbet will speak in a subtle Dark Orange!

EDIT:

Macro-wise, there are a few things that I want to say just in case I forget to mention them and unless I say otherwise.

Lisbet always throws her non-masterwork daggers, not her masterwork ones unless she has literally no other option.

She'll always start off with her normal daggers drawn and her masterwork daggers loaded into the spring-loaded sheath she has attached to each wrist.

And if I miss a turn, most likely she'll do whatever she can to get a sneak attack I guess. Be reasonable though, she won't charge an entire group of enemies alone just to get a surprise round of sneak attacks etc.

EDIT: Also, just a quick note but I bought Lisbet a shortbow, as well as rearranged my skills slightly to add a rank to Perform (Knife Juggling) because I can.

Important NPCS introduced so far.

Joane Coaster: The legendary coach whose team "Armageddon" swept both the national and international leagues without a single death. Fame has gone down with rumours that she got lucky, and now seeks to do it again with a new batch of misfits.

Morithias, do you think you could change the thread names to add OOC and IC on the end?

I get email notifications, and Gmail is combining the two threads into one email conversation which makes it harder to check both threads.

Also, would this method of drawing lots be a common one?

If so, would someone who is really into Xcrawl be aware of it?

No it's not common. You ever watch yu yu hakusho? Genkai's test is where I stole it from. Most teams are assembled from like minor league teams where kids and teens use like foam weapons, then some upgrade to real weapons, then a scout picks up someone who looks good and they join a team.

...so kinda like real life sports.

Its' not common, but this is THE coach, you're not going to question her method of "put your hand in a box and pull out a slip and see if it's marked red". It would be like questioning Ali on how to be a good boxer.

Oh, and Rizban - I forgot to mention, I hope you don't mind Lisbet having a dose of teenage arrogance and all. Don't take it personally, and it'll change soon enough, I plan.

On a scale from 1 to crazed laughter, how much fun did you have writing that post?

Also, Razade seems... somewhat morbid.

He's just making the observation that the shortest person is last to get wet when the water is coming down bu also the first to be covered when the water is coming up. It isn't morbid, it's just reciprocity.

Macro wise, my standard tactic is to channel a shocking grasp through a melee attack.

Also: Razade is hilarious.

Razade is a character I've played off and on in random dungeon crawls on this site. He's based on my inner annoying child that growing up forced me to contain. Or maybe not. Who really knows?

Erik, I noticed a mistake on your sheet by coincidence - Bracers of Armor don't stack with actual armor.
Note that turning your mwk armor into +1 armor costs exactly the same as a +1 bracers of armor, so this shouldn't be too big of a change.

Question: Just how like real life is this world? Is it modern times, is it futuristic, etc?

And more importantly, can we make real life pop culture references?

It's modern time. X-crawl, magic, and fantasy races are the main difference. It's kind of like the Real Steel movie. Where EVERYTHING was like in modern day, except for the giant robots. Even the music.

You can make real life references, but slightly alter them for the setting. Certain parts of the world are seen different too. For example "lord of the rings" is considered realistic fiction, and D&D is the equivalent of a medieval GURPS.

Cool, cool. Can't wait to let other people get slightly ahead of her and call them redshirts behind their back.

EDIT: Oh, and Lisbet is prepping her two masterwork daggers into her spring-loaded wrist sheaths, and her prepared spells are as such:

0th:
Detect Magic 0/2
Light 0/1

1st:
True Strike (Domain) 0/1
Bless 0/1
Conviction 0/1
Faith Healing 0/1

Oh, oops.
Morithias, Ming if I make that change (Or change it to an amulate of natural armour?)?

Detect Hostile Intent only works if they're planning to attack attack you.

That said, I do hope Razade lives through this.

I'm trying to decide what Lisbet would pick should she have to decide between achieving her dreams and saving her uncle. It's a touch choice.
