I'm waiting on The_Snark for a post (and Stealth roll against Penumbra), Guancyto to post their character's introduction, and Lix to roll her Wits+Stealth check. Once one or more of these things happens, I can move the game forward.
Given the overall silence, I'd like it noted that trying to play Xanatos Speed Gateway with Occult 0 and an insane pileup of unfortunate coincidences (from Skandi's point of view) is, in fact, at least as fun as it looks. Especially the failing part.

Apologies. Assume that Maren is waiting at least a few seconds before following, and that she fails the Stealth check (because she's not expecting to be spied on from above and really, ten successes? Probably wouldn't matter). Actual IC post in the next day or two.

Child's speech has a strange accent that isn't like any accent she's ever heard of, and she's been exposed to a lot number of languages and accents. The easiest, but not nearly the most accurate description would be a sort of amalgamation of every accent she's ever heard.
It's oddly difficult to stunt interpreting an omen when you don't have any idea what the omen will be. Oh well.
Also, after all that I forgot my Stealth roll to see if Penumbra can see her (answer: yes). Rolling Wits + Stealth, since Dexterity doesn't seem to fit here: (8d10)[5][5][10][8][6][9][7][3](53)
